Thank you for this. Please make a full tutorial series, not just highliting certain basic features, but starting from the basics and making real notes for a project that we can type and follow along from a simple rem, to a more complex project with multiple documents and connections. Demonstrating real life examples step by step would be so helpful.
I've been using remnote since September 2021 and man, it really changed my study habits for the better. I'm able to grasp my studies better and see where some topics appear in other subjects. The automatic search portal function while I'm typing notes really help me connect all my notes ;-; p. s. I'm a vet student and GEEZ there's just ton of things (at least 500 cards) to study for every exam i always feel like my brain will explode. Thank you mike and matty for remnote!!
To make sure I can "absorb" this information, I am creating my own set of documents called "Using Remnote", and try to replicate everything Matty demonstrates. I create various sub-cards and flashcards on how to do various "things" so these techniques get ingrained into my memory. Sometimes I will see differences between what Matty demonstrates and what I am seeing. I don't know if that's due to different releases or if I tripped up on something. As my understanding changes, so do my notes and flashcards. As a new user, I am stumbling around, but it's better to get through the learning curve ASAP! It's a classic case study on learning something new!
Thank you for this! I have been trying to figure things out with the older tutorial and I’m having a tough time getting around in RemNote so this is a blessing to see.
I've only just discovered RemNote at the age of 64 when I have decided to go back to studying.. In my school days I did not bother "mistake". Its great to see a resource like remnote that I can see, having struggled with Anki, that makes studying easier. I am a newby though and thank you for your simple explaination.. onto the next video now!
It turns out I've been using an outdated version of Remnote on my Mac for quite a while. I'm surprised it didn't prompt to update... regardless, remnote is fantastic!
Remnote is great! However, what stops me from leaving Notion and using this one is that Remnote does not allow for columns or tables for note taking, it is always from up to down (I get that we can make hierarchies, but for me, it's VERY important to have columns). I would love the opportunity to make more customizable notes, because, yes, I LOVE the flashcards, with its active recall and spaced repetition technique, but I am also a visual person, and to have mutiple colors, fonts, sizes, organizers, columns and stuff like that is something I NEED to have, which is exactly what stops me from using Remnote :(
Remnote sounds so amazing. Everything in one place. I get tired just thinking of how I'll use Quizlet, anki, notion when school resumes. This is a great option. But....a very big but....the mobile app doesn't work. It isn't opening. The website too. Nothing is working. People sat the desktop version is the best but, I don't like moving around with my laptop. I want something for when I'm on the go. I need it on iOS too😪
Hi. Thank you for the video. I am trying to use this on my Ipad. Is there a tutorial on how to tab on the pad? The keyboard doesn't have the the tab function on the iPad. Also not sure now to use the pencil to tab. Thanks.
Hi. So you call the subcategories from your medical notes children, but the icon says they are documents, not children-bulletpoints as you explain and that‘s confusing. What is the difference and why did you do documents instead of bullet points? Also, some text blocks of answers for examples for REMs are better readable with a line break, but return creates a new child, so how can I format REMs, and do you have a tutorial on Flashcards formatting? Do you have a tutorial that explains the best practice for organising your knowledge base hierarchically? Thank you, Julia
I'm a new RemNote user on Mac and I'm loving it so far, although I'm having a problem when I want to re-order my "rems". E.g. "rem1" is above "rem2" and I want to move "rem2" above "rem1" but even though I grab "rem2" and drag the cursor over my "rem1" the order doesn't change, I will end up with the starting order ("rem1" above "rem2") Please let me know If I'm doing something wrong or if this is a simple bug, thanks!
Is Remnote coming any time soon on iOS? no rush, whatever is the time estimate it doesn't matter, I would like some updates on how that is going cause it would be a game changer personally speaking
Hey, I was wondering how can I use these emojis in the video. I have the pro version and when I type %% there are just few emojis. How can I get the other ones? Also how can I turn lots of parents to childrens at the same time? Like the human body and its 3 childrens in this video. if I dont want to click tab one by one how can I do it at one time?
Overall I thinks its a good app from what I see but when I installed it on my pc, it showed that my pc would be at risk if I download it but I runned it anyway and it really made my pc lagged so I had to uninstall it. Goodluck BTW

omggg im a vet student! just discovered remnote!!
Can we just talk about how satisfying his keyboard sounds?
Way too loud, and sounds too boxy, with rumbling bass. Just distracting.

Great job on your application. It's better than everything that I've tried.
It turns out I've been using an outdated version of Remnote on my Mac for quite a while. I'm surprised it didn't prompt to update... regardless, remnote is fantastic!
Thank you keep making these! Just started learning a new skillset and gonna use remnotes!

For that you have to pay I believe
Can you please name a few features that RemNote has, but Notion doesn't?
Note: CTRL + is very useful for changing the font size or zooming in cleanly on your document.
Hey, what is the difference between an document and an bullet?
Every bullet is an document?
How do I retrieve something that i deleted? Like in the text. I hate the fact that there is no undo botton
thankyouuu im reviewing for board exam and wanted to change my study style
Can all of the things done in this video be done with the free version of remnote?
Exactly this is what i wanted a great tutorial
meu maior problema e a falta da opção de tradução do site me sinto perdida nas funcionalidades por não ter um inglês tão bom

I'm wanting to possibly use remnote to study for some certifications, Cisco and IT related. Has anyone used it for such?
Hi. Thank you for the video. I am trying to use this on my Ipad.
Is there a tutorial on how to tab on the pad? The keyboard doesn't have the the tab function on the iPad. Also not sure now to use the pencil to tab. Thanks.
On your iPad there should be a floating toolbar above your keyboard with a "indent" button in it!
Been waiting for this! Thanks guys!!
This app is pure g e n i u s 🌸💕✨
is there any way to limit the amount of new cards you study per day like in anki for a specific deck?

Hey, I was wondering how can I use these emojis in the video. I have the pro version and when I type %% there are just few emojis. How can I get the other ones? Also how can I turn lots of parents to childrens at the same time? Like the human body and its 3 childrens in this video. if I dont want to click tab one by one how can I do it at one time?
Type a keyword after %%
Select all children(they will be marked blue) and press Tab
@@ongobongo2894 I'll try these as soon as possible thanks!

I just hope if every tutorial was in dark mode
