Ive always wanted to try bitwig, i currently use ableton lite but i dont use it much other than multi track recording, which i can do in any daw. I dont know how to use the ableton instrument racks or anything, i plan to deep dive over the winter. I want a daw attached mostly for effects but i wouldnt mind learning more of the creating instrument programs right from the daw either. Ive gotten quite a few effects plugins which i want to start working with essentially what you're doing with my midi controller. Your channel has definitely been helping me piece stuff together! Like i have no idea what clipping launching but i know once i do, ill be using it!
The mini screen is a great idea, even if just as a second screen closer to the rig. Out of curiously, what are you using the ES9 monitor outputs for? Can’t you just play multitracked through the DAW over USB C?
Hey thanks! I have two computers and just use my laptop as a piece of gear in the live rig. So, I have the outs of the ES9 going into my recording computer which captures all the audio from the live rig and my voice. yes, I can multitrack into the laptop, and when I play live, I can just hit record and get a full multitrack of the performance which is incredible. But if Im stopping and starting like I am for this, I cant really record the audio for the video, so that's why I use the second comnputer to capture the master out and my voice. When playing live, I have the headphone outputs set to 3/4 so I can use the solo buttons as CUE mixes and hear tracks while their faders are down,
@@alx-106 nice! I’m only curious to see if I can get a better UA-cam recording set up. I’ve not recorded a video for 6 months but about to start again and looking for a better workflow. Thanks for the tips Alex.
Thank you! Its the Novation LaunchControl XL. Its like 10 years old at this point but still awesome. I found mine on Facebook marketplace a couple of months ago.

I love it , I use my own DI wherever I go ..
I've noticed more and more people using DI boxes, do you use it for audio quality or just a similar way that he does?
THIS IS FUN!
