This is INCREDIBLE! Love hearing Matt’s insights on the sentiments with the tank and mentorship from Kenny. And that hill climber picture is so freaking cool!
🥰 awe thank you so much for all your support!!! We have having so much fun sharing what we do and to top it off, we can share how we become inspired! This UA-cam/video is so new to all of us but it’s worth it!!
I love hearing the stories behind these old bikes! I know how it is to find one part and say “I’m gonna build another bike around this” 😂. Love the videos guys. Keep ‘em coming.
I agree. the text is unbelievable look into the time that we all wish we could have been a part of. the pictures are so helpful on tracking year to year changes
My father gave me that same book by Herbert Wagner years ago and it inspired me to gather all his parts and finish the projects he ran out of time to do. Thanks for the 38 year only details you reviewed in this video. Always learning something new!
Thanks for watching!! Herb’s books is awesome! It’s so nice to hear others appreciate and also have been inspired by his book! We are trying our best to get videos posted every three weeks!
LOVE the videos and information on the old classics!!!! Please keep them coming!!!! (I have known about y'all, Matt in particular, for a while now. I love seeing his passion for these old, classic Harley-Davidson motorcycles!!!!)
Amazing work! There's so much to like about the wholesomness of this video and a Harley I have never seen with my own eyes because I'm from the Czech Republic. Truly wonderful!
Hi Matt, so nice to see that you are building bobber's in addition to the correct restorations that you and your Dad are well known for. As I remember I am pretty sure the first bobber you built was a blue/silver 46 FL for me around 10 years ago. We started with a nice restored bike and turned it into a super cool period correct post war knuckle bobber. Regrettably I sold it and sure wish I had of kept it. It came out great. Maybe it's time for me to build another one. Take care, J.J.
The "bullet/wing" decals along with the lines through those tank decals and fenders, Harley-Davidson kept the "streamlining" styling that was popular all through the 1930s. The 1930s OHV models were prime examples of classic American styling. Likewise for Indian motorcycles. Thanks for a great informative video.
We were excited to share the process of the frame for Matt’s 1938 EL bobber. It’s crazy to see how it started and how it finished. I remember seeing Matt ride down the highway during its first test run and thought man that bike sure runs straight for how bent it started out as!
Just liked and subscribed, what a great channel. I just bought a 46 EL Knuckle and am awaiting its arrival and hope to learn a bit about these old bikes from your channel. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. I'm going to email your shop about supplying me a Buddy seat spring set up to clip on the saddle seat if you sell them.
Great vid brother just found it and sub,! My dream is UL flatty ! Im 71 and riding have two bikes bmw GS and 1990 heratige second engine those flattys have gotten way out of my price anyway God Bless
So what happened about the buddy seat spring set up matt, You replied to my email and said you would get some out for me, I even rang you from here in Oz. I said I would like to buy a set from you. Still awaiting a reply from last email a week ago. If there is a problem a short email reply would do.
Hi this is Brittney not Matt :) Matt doesn’t respond or do the UA-cam videos or comments. All parts are shipped upon payment for parts! Never the less, I’ll talk to our guys who take care of shipping! There are many hands that help make carls cycle supply well oiled!
@@carlscyclesupply Hi Brittany, I would have gladly paid up front for the parts, Matt said in an emal he would dig some out and get back to me with photos of them, I did ask for a price. It do'snt matter now as I have purchased from elsewhere.

Wagner's book is excellent. Fantastic research talking to the old timers about the bikes and the activities they participated in.
