just beautiful, the detail & knowledge unparalleled, shout out to ALL the hard work & time to find these NOS parts, just WOW! the results scream, lets ride this thing!!!!!
I love old Hogs they have a soul and come a live when you ride one ! I'm very lucky to have road a 1922 JD and owned a 1956 FLH and I still own a 1967 XLH Sportster that I got it in 1982 I still own it and ride it today Knucklehead forever 👍👍👍👍👍
@@carlscyclesupply I thank you my Dad is the one who gave me the love of old bikes. Old Hogs We're cheap to buy when I was a kid Dad would buy a PAN header, old Knucklehead for $50 to $100 Dollars. I wish I could go back then buy 100 bikes lol Ride safe and keep it up on two's friend
The twist in the advance wire clamp is something I thought I only noticed when I do my restorations. Good stuff! The little details that drive me nuts when not done correctly 😅
I believe you needed to prove you had to have a new bike for the war effort or been a doctor ECT .... Great show thanks guys when I get a notification you've posted a video it's like finding money 😁
You are correct leee. I believe it was phrased along the lines of " essential Use". Thanks for comment and support. I hope you have a great rest of the summer.
Thanks for the good question. Parkerizing is a chemical reaction that was invented in the 1800s for helping prevent rust on non ferrous metals. It is a pretty easy process to do at home and is similar to gun blue ing. We buy our solution from Brownells and use the manganese process
WOW great job you do. You & your dad are truly great at restoring vintage Harleys. I only live about 30 miles from you. Would love to visit with you & ask your opinions on some bikes. I’m close to retirement & pursuing some knuckles. Would love your expertise
I was curious about the handlebars on this bike. They seem to have a higher rise and come in closer than my 42 WL. I have a set of bars hanging in my garage that are similar to those and I was wondering if you could explain the difference in handlebars in a video sometime
Thanks for suggestion, That would be a good video. These are standard bars which are very long. Ive heard people refer to them as touring bars in the past as well. They are very comfortable and fun to use. The bars are easy to bend to riders preference.
New old stock is a term that applies to surplus parts that were made either during production or with in a certain window of time after production stopped. These are the surplus parts that were sent out to help maintian production bikes and keep older bikes on the road.
She's riding on a country road in the middle of nowhere with a video vehicle to run interference, so I think she's going to be just fine. Plus if you've every seen Brittney race you'd know the lady can handle motorcycles better than most riders any of us know.
So you're watching a video about the amazing restoration of a bike originally built during WWII as our country was fighting for freedom......and your takeaway is a stupid comment about criticizing someone for actually exercising their freedom of choice. Clearly you have issues......change the channel to CNN.

It is so much fun to ride. It really makes all the effort worth while when you get to go out on it and use it for its intended purpose
Beautiful bike
Thankyou.

None of the details are worth much by them selves but when you hit all of them they really pay off on finished project.
Incredible work !
Thankyou kindly

whats new old stock mean?

Black Pearl.
Thank you for saying "footboards" and NOT "floorboards." 😅
haha. I have heard both.
She should be wearing a helmet.
Helmet laws suck

An amazing restoration and a great video. You guys are amazing. You really know your stuff.
