I wasn't expecting exactly this approach from the character but I ended up really loving it. Great stuff from Filoni. I wanted to focus on her relationship with Anakin and Ahsoka on this video.

Look I don’t know if Barris is dead. If she is then let her rest in peace. But if she’s not then I’m looking forward to seeing her again. Possibly in season two of the Ahsoka series.
I hope we see her reunite with ahsoka in animation the ahsoka series is not bad but its not the same as the animated stuff the voice acting the action in the animation is sooo good that its hard to deliver that in live action
She did make a lot of true statements at her trial. She said "this Republic is failing, it's only a matter of time." She was so right. I hope she's still alive

the three barriss episodes of tales of the empire was, in my opinion, some of the BEST Star Wars Ever!! The line of "when I am not seeking you, I find you at last!! THAT HIT SOO MUCH!!!
To be honest, I didn’t know what to feel of her after all these years but after now I forgive her for everything thank you
Only Filoni can make me hate a character and in 2 episodes feel sorry for her ❤

The Empire mistook Barriss's dislike of the Jedi Council as a dislike of the Jedi Code. Yeah, she betrayed Ahsoka and framed her for murder. She has dark traits, but she's not a bad person.
Barriss's problem with the Jedi was that they were supposed to be peacekeepers but kept fighting the Clone Wars, sacrificing their code and everything they stood for in favor of fighting a war. She wanted to prove that the Jedi Council was weak and that the Jedi as a whole had lost their way.
She still believes in the Code and what it represents. She still believes in peace and now that the war is over, the bloodshed can stop. But the Empire doesn't want it to stop and that's why she's not cut out to be an Inquisitor.
She had the same problem with Jedi as Ahsoka but her actions were bad... But she was never evil and I'm glad that Barriss after all never went to the dark side.
She's a lot like Dooku. Her desire to do good and constant rejection to do so led her down a dark path, led her to do terrible things, led her to hurt people. But those bad things stemmed from the good within her.

For a short time, it seemed like she wanted to believe the Inquisitors and the Empire could do some good. But that hope was shattered pretty damn quickly once she actually got to see the state of the galaxy.
Right
Tales of the Empire did to Barriss, as what Tales of the Jedi did for Dooku. It turns a character hated and misunderstood by everyone, into someone we love and actually feel sorry for.
I hope Barriss return in Ahsoka or any other Live Action work, it'll be fun to see her and Ahsoka work together against Thrawn.
They’ll only bring her back to just kill her off i rather have her show up in the next animated project then be played by a mid actress in ahsoka season 2

Thank you for making this tribute to one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time. She has had a rough journey both in universe and with her writing outside of it and Tales of the Empire delivered so much justice for her. I am very excited for more stories with her for there is still so much potential and I hope we get to have an onscreen reunite with her and Ashoka. I have no doubt she is still alive and am hoping we get to see her again soon. Love Star Wars, and thank you Filoni for not forgetting about your promise.
Great stuff bro! Filoni's work on Barriss' character arch was honestly much more of an interesting plot than I imagined. Perfect music choice and amazingly done as always, my friend!
I have a feeling Barriss will live past this. If Reva can survive being impaled from VADER himself, Barriss can survive this. Amazing work here man!

I like Barriss Offee, she is one of my favourite Prequel Jedi, especially in Legends. I don't think she really died. This is a really nice edit, thanks!
There's a theory about Barriss looking way too old. It's because she uses force heal in legends. It's possible Filoni hinted that in the final episodes after saving the unnamed jedi and being called the 'healer.' All the same, hope she returns and reunites with Ahsoka, and hopefully, we get to see her reaction to Luminara's death.
If barris appears in season 2 of ahsoka that would be amazing especially if ahsoka and barris work together though barris would have to work to regain ahsoka trust considering what happened last time they saw each other
Well, in the last episode of The Tales of the Empire, she mentions to the family that they will come to a female friend who will help them. I’m almost certain (though, admittedly, not totally) that she’s referring to Ashoka. That’s how I interpret it anyway.

Honestly if she really is dead from this, i will have really problem... Like why Reva who got stabbed from Vader didn't die and somehow went to Tatooine but Barriss died when she had friend to help her will be the most wtf moment. I hope lucasfilm know about this and she is alive...

Have you considered that Barris might have survived because Star Wars have bigger plans for her? Like I don’t know, her appearing in the second season of the Ahsoka series? I think that would be great for her character. Her and Ahsoka working together, possibly a final time. And for your information, people can die from a lightsaber stabbing. It’s just that some people are more lucky than others.
Lightsabers do kill lmfao, and its extremely possible to survive wounds from a lightsaber, this isnt a new concept created by disney... its something that Lucas implemented and something that was common in legends, Barrriss will survive because she was still breathing and Lyn went to save her

Please tell me when did Legends establish so many variables for direct lightsaber impalement survival rate, because it seems in the last few years, it's only up to Kennedy or Filoni whether a character gets to live more or not.
I believe Barriss may be alive. However, We will require an explenation for not sering her in Star Wars: Rebels and the events of the Original Trilogy or the New Republic Era for that matter.
Maybe She went into exile in Wild Space or found an ancient holocron with cordinates to a planet hidden in the Uknown Regions, choosing to self-impose annexile on herself than cause harm or the death of innocents.
Or maybe She sees fighting for the Alliance as just amother war that, as a jedi, She should have no part in.
