a random blessed box gives "the player" something he wants and a random cursed box gives the player something he needs, that's why he got the key to that dungeon, where he can get the elixir of life for his mother.

Just a guess. The hunters association kind of take a blind approach to Dong Suk old bother because his brother is a S rank... but they knew he was up to no good (infamous)
4:26 its not that he doesn't care or not caring more, its more so he realistically can't really do anything to investigate the system outside of pure guess work. Also to be meta for a second, he is always thinking about it and theorizing but the anime cuts a lot of his inner monologue out.

They changed the order of the dialogues and it looked like Jinho threatened to expose Jinwoo but that wasn't what happened. It was also omitted in the conversation that Jinho's brother is a skilled hunter. The debuffs skills only work if the target is of the same rank or weak as Jinwoo, that's why it didn't work on Cerberos who has a power between B+ and A-. Jinwoo should be B rank now.
Right now after defeating the Cerberus Jinwoo is around the middle B rank who can push a top B rank. Any hunter above A rank who takes him seriously would easily murk Jinwoo. S ranker would crush him like a bug. He needs a lot levelling to do before approaching S rank.

That beast wasn't even S rank if it was Jinwoo would have died instantly, Jinwoo is at B rank level right now and yet it still took everything in his arsenal just to BARELY defeat a single beast that was a weak A rank at best
Next week they are skipping an episode just to warn you!!! It will be a recap (for what?? IDK!) of the season so far instead.

I should point out that the system's grade is not equivalent to the real world's grade. The system's difficulty is often way way higher than the equivalent rank outside. I know its confusing but try not to take it literally and go on a case-by-case basis.

@ReactCity just to add the system said his dagger was supposedly c rank but the effect is way too busted no actual c rank weapon outside could come close to matching that dagger it had 2 special effects which is wiiiild.
He classed Kasaka's strength at low d but it dropped that ridiculous dagger at c and an A rank potion. If you remember the system did not even grade the dungeon it was basically some tutorial boss he faced off with

Fast forward to now, the current dungeon is s rank but you will find out cereberus the boss himself was low A rank he is basically a glorified door man in that place (comparing to what else is In the tower he is nothing)

Jinwoo is not A rank yet and neither was the Cerberus. The next episode or 2 will show you this. That's all i can say. The gap between ranks gets wider the higher the ranks. The show hasn't explained it, but there are 10 levels in a rank. For example, it goes C1-C10. This is why there is a difference, even in Ranks. Jinwoo was probably a B1 when he fought that dog.
😅 the dungeon is S rank but the Cerberus is just the Gatekeeper and its just mid A rank and Jin Woo is upper B during the battle so it aint that much of a difference between them after Jin Woo beat Cerberus his level now is lower A 😁 soon it gonna get interesting since all his opponent after this are either upper A or S ranks 😅

As a character, Jin Woo is an intelligent observer and even though he sees that the dungeon is S level, it is not for this character to risk his life just for the experiment. At the same time, I did not like the karaography of the boss fight. Although they included the sibling incident in the previous episode finale to attract attention, nothing was explained about who he is. I guess my expectations were too high after the perfection of the previous 6th episode. @@arjunts7646
