      Fucking hated it. "Priority is a singular word." yeah no shit that how words work. Goat is a singular word, that doesn't mean I don't have multiple goats. Figure it out.

    • @saloni.sharma
      @saloni.sharma 2 роки тому

      @@lildeek12GFL i think you didn't understand the concept.. it is more about being able to tell what's important and what isn't (and most things aren't). for me i have 3 major areas in my life that all have a priority so i like to have 3 priorities pertaining to each, which are still a "priority" if i separate the areas. it's just like people using the term "goals" and putting in too many goals and then finishing few to none by the end. having multiple goals/priorities is fine but too many of them are most definitely counter productive

      I dont think you had to empasis on Them being "women" , and no one is telling you to do it how they do,
      You are just supposed to get an idea from them, and implement it in your own way,
      Decoration just makes it personal for some,

    I find this approach refreshing. As an artist I was drawn to bullet journaling with tons of colors and drawings, cute stickers, etc... the downside of that was I would spend way more time doodling and drawing and basically get nothing done. This feels much more precise and under control, I like the lack of clutter and I too am not a fan of standard calendar planners. Thank you for sharing, this is awesome!

    1. don't have tasks like (study italian/japanese etc) -break it down into the actual tasks, code them
    for me A*1 = 2exercises from white book. I have 16 different codes for italian tasks which i will switch out daily, as learning isn't doing the same task every day.
    D= 30mins yoga (to avoid time wasting i will often make a monthly playlist, usually on a day i have a period and can't do my yoga i'll plan it out.)
    Anything to reduce your daily mental processing and writing out of tasks.
    Use your burn days for planning your future time.

I tried bullet journaling once but quit after 2 months cause I felt overwhelmed by the amount of tasks I have to complete and the poor organization. I'm clearly gonna update this , I need to focus at max for the next 18 months. Once again, thank you for sharing this and great job on improving yourself!

    I've been intrigued by the bullet journal method. But all these "Set up your journal spreads with me" videos are terrible. They don't help. They seem to think that the point of the journal is the journal - not the productivity. Basically, their journals are adult coloring books for people who want to pretend to be productive when they're really just playing at being a grown-up. But you! I love your method. This made so much sense to me. I am right there with you on the "scrunched up" calendars giving me PTSD. I tried your methods for a month or so. And it worked. It simply worked! Or, it worked simply! Which is the same thing but not. LOL. I wish I had found your video years ago. Anyway, I just wanted to come back and say thanks! I appreciate this and you!

  • @jcepri

    This is the best video on bullet journaling. Much better than the founder's IMO because this guy includes the why, not just the how. I love the idea of tracking habits on the opposite page and using only the first letter. There may be some habits i want to be confidential such as abstaining from weed. What if someone found my journal at work and turned it in? Someone could read through it. I also like having ONE priority for each day. That seems very doable. I have ADD so I get overwhelmed very quickly. By writing it down, I thinkk the info will stick better than by using an app, like I have been.

    This was a breath of fresh air. So simple, so clean. I LOVE the idea of turning the book over and writing from the back. I haven't found a way to write down the things I notice during the day and what I think about them. For example, I saw a little blue flower trying to stick up through the snow. I thought about persistence and how we have to make our way through the challenges of this pandemic time and bloom where we are planted.
