one of the few couples that actually made me believe in love again, even tho they arent real, feels bad that it ended this way..
truth is love hurts and sometimes it sucks, they made me believe in love until it ended
If merder they were saying that was true love and how he left Meredith then came back after he cheated and then died but with jolex I feel like they are meant to be together even more than merder I just think they were way better than merder
Greys really spent 16 years developing alex only to draw a blank on who he is when push comes to shove. I also have not and probably never will accept this.
he just wouldn’t do that, he’d find a way to do both and would especially never leave via a letter 😪 imagine just never seeing his wife again.. he couldn’t do that 💔
Look, he knows how it is for a kid to not know they're dad and wonder what its like. They both had a crappy childhood and he didn't want to just know he had kids just to do nothing about it. Yes, he left jo and Meredith a and everything in Seattle but who says he may not come back in the future? He did have a horrible send off but did shonda really want to kill him? I don't think so. We all know that if he found out he were to have kids in the first season he probably wouldn't have the same reaction. A letter will never be a great answer or send off and yes jolex deserves way better but you can't say they tore down 16 years/seasons of character development because they didn't
@@jaymieeveland7330 I agree with the fact that he wanted to be a better dad and man than his own father was and that definitely is a part of his character growth. But the part that isn't is simply leaving without a proper goodbye or explanation. He and Jo were partners and the fact that he didn't tell her he had kids with Izzie is completely out of character. Alex went from an asshole who didn't trust anyone to a man who willingly became meredith's person. His whole arc is about maturing,, learning to trust and believing in himself. He could've still been a father and not have gone back to izzie. I think it had more to do with the actor wanting to leave than Alex's character which just sucks.

In my mind he never left and they are together. Him leaving is not something his character would do. They could have thought something better to write him off

People forget that for several episodes Alex made it clear that he never forgot about Izzie and was curious to know how she was doing. of course it doesn't justify the quick and unexpected exit the writers made. but for those who paid attention to the details of the series remember that he never stopped loving Izzie, even though he was with Jo. there was the episode of the shot in the elevator that he called for Izzie, the episode of the accident in the park that had the blonde pregnant, the episode that Jô says she has a gun to protect herself, the episode that she finds the document from the sperm bank . and in the letter itself he cites several reasons. Izzie was always the love of his life.

their ENTIRE relationship being about her not giving herself fully over to him because she’s so scared he’ll leave her like everyone else in her life and him PROMISINGGG he’s not gonna leave bc he understands that abandonment experience from his childhood too so she does open up to him and then THIS???? to be given this ending is literally worse than if he died because it’s so so off base w alexs character and discredits everything they’ve been thru

I hope Jo gets a top notch love interest. Maybe she will help Jackson become swoonworthy again or maybe she'll date someone new. Either way, hope she gets someone awesome

I'll never forgive the writers for their ending but you really know how to work within the confines of what they gave us and make heartwrenching, beautiful art! Wow! This was captivating and mesmerizing from start to finish and now one of my absolute favorite uses I've ever seen of this gorgeous song too.

First: this is amazing, just like other videos.
Second: the writers did Jolex so dirty. Jo is the main reason why I don't want season 17 to be the last season. Jo desveres to be happy and get everything she ever wanted, which won't happen this season. She desveres to be somebody's first choice, and be seen as the love of somebody's life.
Please do more Jo videos, and maybe a JoLink friendship video
The sad part is feel like they are each others first choice. They have been put thru so much but are still so good together. I kinda hope Jo gets a lot of success and then reunites with Alex to help raise the Izzy kids.
@@tatianasolsrud9077 I doubt Jo would ever take him back. What he did, was unforgivable. I hope for more seasons, so that we can first see her succed as an OBGYN/Maternal-fetal surgeon, and then see her find love again with a new hot shot surgeon

He left her with a letter. Shonda could just kill him off honestly. He left a 7 year relationship for a 1 year relationship. So he just left jo for izzie who has kids? They can make kids. It’s honestly just made me sad
