Him just leaving her doesn’t make sense the writers really screwed up Alex’s character with that decision. There were better ways to write him off but making him choose Izzie is completely nonsensical even if she had his kids plenty of kids grow up just fine with divorced parents. Frankly killing him off would have made for a better ending.

I am an Izzex fan and I loved their love story and their chemistry and their story. But I also liked Jolex and their love. And we got to see a lot of great changes in Alex’s character that we all for sure know that Alex was not a guy who just leave Jo and Mer like that. Definitely not. They had to come up with another ending for Alex. He didn’t deserve this at all.

Alex went back for his kids. There is no comparison between Izzie and Alex & Jo and Alex. First off they only got married cos Izzie had cancer and thought she was gonna die compared to him proposing to jo twice and even held onto the ring after she said she wasn’t ready. Alex and izzie only have kids because izzie chose to use her eggs which Alex only donated cos of the cancer compared to Alex stripping off in the loft telling jo that he wanted kids with her and they could make one then and there if that’s what she wanted. Also look at Alex’s development when Jo came into the show so he could be better for her. Jo was so much better for Alex that’s basic to see izzie was one of the worst ga characters past season 1 and only then she was tolerable so you can’t compare Alex and Jo to Alex and izzie 🤣🤣
This was truly beautiful. I hope one day these two have a family of their own they both so deserve it.

I havnt commented iv watched this loads I'm obsessed with these two and jo is a amazing character I relate to her a lot in different ways she's strong she's just hit a rough patch and now she's getting better so I relate very much to her brilliant tribute to these two beautiful people!

izzie and alex weren't even good together compared to him and jo, i think they should've had him go away on a medical trip, kind of like when april joined the military but maybe something else because i don't think he would say yes to military, maybe like arizona called him there and the letters could be him telling jo to stay and that it won't be for long but then it gets delayed and delayed and then have him come back maybe in the last season of the show or the one before and fix their relationship
