- Drone Soccer: The World's Newest E-Sport
This summer, Colorado is hosting the nation’s first tournaments hosted by U.S. Drone Soccer in partnership with Wings Over the Rockies and the Rocky Mountain State Games. Drone Soccer is a high-tech robotic sport played with flying quadcopters enclosed in protective spheres designed to collide in midair.

Ooooooh man!! This program is absolutely way too cool.
I would have killed to have had this around and open to me in highschool... or even some sort of similar local club/league now that I'm an "adult".
(whatever that even means)
What a rad bunch of people too... I'll bet that that Charlie is an absolute party *A-N-I-M-A-L*!! haha I hope all these guys and gals reach their goals and are smillin' their faces right off, right now.
Awesome knowledge set!!
You have a great program there at Wings. Ian really feels at home there.

Hi could I get a parts list specifically on the frame, esc, fc, motors, props, and lipo accommodation( eg 2s 450mAh)
This nerd sport is really cool
Super interesting.
I am a STEM teacher in a Brooklyn public school. I teach drones and am intrigued with the Drone Soccer Competitions. The video mentioned acquiring a kit for the drones. Could you tell me how to purchase these kits? Thank you.
Hi Terrance. We would love to share more information with you. Please send us an email at info@dronesports.us with your contact information and we will help you set up the program in your school.
This is awesome...getting kids into the uas hobby is the only way it's going to continue on in the future... hopefully the faa won't kill are hobby, fingers crossed.
you know, i've seen what people look like before...i kinda wanted to see what drone soccer looked like but this is 11 minutes of random interviews with 2 seconds of drone soccer stuff cut in every minute. Like how hard is it to record footage? I'll be happy to come record some for yal or show you how if you need. Mostly just aim your cameras at the game.....also there's this new thing called voice over. look it up.
So no one's saying anything about what's on Liam's right hand?? I see how it is🤫
I’ll never tell 🤫
@@drgan4568SHHHHHHH
@@mavenlives4279 don’t you say anything either
@@drgan4568 I'll keep your secret as long as you keep mine
@@mavenlives4279 im the best person to tell a secret to, because I will forget it, for example, I’m incredibly confused
A lot of bla bla bla almost no flying scenes 😕
the students actually look like they drone soccer players
It seems like an interesting sport, but these old men really need to stop calling it an e-sport.
It's more of a remote controlled motorsport, along the lines of gladiator robots and FPV drone racing, and those are not e-sports. The stage and all the action is physical. It's like calling mountainbiking a ballsport because the wheels are round, it just doesn't work. Electric remotes and electric motors don't turn something into an e-sport. Formula E is not an e-sport.
