@Feyrom Take a piece of cardboard, roll it so it's a cylinder, then put it standing on a table, and try to crush it by pushing on top, it's gonna be hard considering the fact it's just cardboard. Then you can take that cylinder and punch it on the side or bend it, it's gonna be really easy since it's just cardboard. You can take thin material, and make it into a shape that will make it surprisingly strong in one way, but if you load it in ways not intended (ie punching it in the middle) the weakness of the material will show, but that doesn't take away the fact that it was strong in the way it's supposed to be loaded. But anyways, I'd like to see you punch that, it's definitely thicker than you think and you'd hurt yourself
@Feyrom "It's useless dude" One comment later "It supports the seats" Uh, weird I thought it was so weak it'd bend if you looked at it wrong, how can it support seats then ? It's almost as if it was indeed a strong piece. But no need to be an asshole I just nicely explain modern sheet metal design and how they make thin material into strong pieces by modifying the shape and you're coming at me as if I threatened your family. Really shows your experience taught you well. Being a mechanic doesn't mean you have any technical superiority when it comes to material strength and engineering, that's not your domain. And even if you were an engineer I don't give a single shit about your experience, the facts are there, easy to research and prove and you contradict it with no other argument than "trust me bro i know shit", so no matter who you are you're still wrong. Also everyone on the internet is a mechanic and seems to own 12 cars, besides it's not like owning and fixing that many cars means anything I've known a lot of hacks and they could also list a bunch of cars they've owned and say they've been doing it for 25 years, yet they still were fucking hacks, not saying you're one but stop using that as an argument because it's not. Edit: btw just searched G forums about that brace and weirdly enough people there seem to agree that it's useful, there's even multiple cases of the bolts of that brace getting loose which clearly indicates that it's a piece that's regularly under stress and vibrations... You really need to stop thinking thin material automatically means it's not structural, your frame rails are not much thicker than that to be honest, it's all in the shape.
Jasmin is awesome xD Such a unique and personal build that grew the channel so much. she was the car that brought me to the channel and made me subscribe, hope to see more of Jasmin in the future man
Put some windshield sprayers in front of the radiator so that it sprays on the radiator when the fans suck in air it’s cold air from the water that sprays on the radiator, guaranteed keeps the G way cooler
don’t touch the sensor by the shifter. it’s most likely the yaw rate sensor. if you unbolt it and move it in anyway the airbags will go off when the car gets started next
You could just cut the carpet in half and just have the front part of it am remove the rest it would look really clean. I love that he let the door cards in and the center console, retaining all the functionality and he can still listen to some bangers while on waiting line or when drifting :D
Yonoka is an amazing budget friendly company. I'm using their coilovers on my 2g Eclipse GST and they sent me a tshirt, two adjustment tools, license plate bracket, sticker, and a lanyard to boot!
Take a shot every time Robbie says literally or when he is stoked about something! 🍻 Excellent content man! Consider converting those pounds to kilograms too in the future. Keep up the great work!
Hey Robbie that part that is made in Germany if you look it says Bosch on it, they are a German company they make parts for many different cars they just have a plant in Germany that produces this part but they mostly produce inside of the us
For some reason i love it so much when you guys give love to that shitbox 😂 keep up the good vids, always a good time when you see a robbie video poping up🔥
Until you guys get a new exhaust system I would definitely cut the other side of the exhaust out right behind the cat, I'm not one of those people that says that you need back pressure on your engine but I know that it's not a good idea to have different back pressure on 1 side than the other, it can cause damage.
I really think that after building Jenny that you should give the same treatment to the g, since I really think that Chris deserves a solid car. A few mods like exhaust and just cleaning up the appearance can make this car a for sure favorite on the channel
Lmao I literally just gutted my 05 rev up sedan last weekend and thought the foam inserts were so weird! Insane how much that sound deadening actually works 😅 I can hear every piece of sand hit underneath now lol I love it tho
Go find the final bout video about dab sedan, guy has a tube Fran front end with twin turbo slapped ontop the de that came in the car, wish I still had mine I just trade my sedan:(
That thing behind the shifter is a gyroscope so when the car feels like it’s sliding or gets tapped while drifting it will usually cut almost all power.
He needs to unplug that yaw sensor in the center console!!! It will fully disable your vdc so your car doesn’t cut power when drifting just make sure to unplug the battery
Hey does anyone want to help me out, I have a g35 and it’s something thats bothering em, whenever I put it in drive it clunks into gear, if I have the car in drive without going it doesn’t make any noise, but as soon as I start going it sounds like a loud whirling sound, it has a tranny code but its something about the PCM
Just get some dry ice and hit the floor the sound isolation shit will come up easily and its heavy as fuck pulled it all out of my e46 and it took like 30/45 minutes
Put that brace pack in over the hole into the trunk it’ll stiffen the chassis up a bit

Just drill holes in the thermostat instead of removing it completely it allows the coolant to stay in the radiator longer and help exchange heat
huh i’ve heard of removing them but never drilling holes, not a bad idea
I need to do this to my S12.
S12 is one car I ever regret getting rid of. I had an s12 hatch with CA20E. No power but was still a fun car to drive.
Perfect timing for one of you're videos. Just finished getting stitches at the hospital lol. Makes this feel a little better.
Put some windshield sprayers in front of the radiator so that it sprays on the radiator when the fans suck in air it’s cold air from the water that sprays on the radiator, guaranteed keeps the G way cooler
Or nitrous...

same for Evo X, although it's located under the dash, but as you said don't ever touch it and just leave it in. Had my fun with exploding airbag lol
holy shit this is hilarious
No it wont 😂 it will disable the traction control and the anti slip as its a standard 350z mod to put a switch in
VDC Is always limiting power as long as it plugged in
너도 시프터로

He can bump some teriyaki boyz!
Chris you gotta order that hydro soon soo we can see some sick tandems drifts on fare grounds.
Finally been dying to see this. Love it !!!!!

3:01 "yonakganna lie" I see what you did there haha
Hey Robbie that part that is made in Germany if you look it says Bosch on it, they are a German company they make parts for many different cars they just have a plant in Germany that produces this part but they mostly produce inside of the us
someone hit my car like an hour ago its good to see robbie posted put me in a better mood. :)
For some reason i love it so much when you guys give love to that shitbox 😂 keep up the good vids, always a good time when you see a robbie video poping up🔥
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBBIE!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOOOOO !!!!!!!
four bucket set baaby
Finally come good content
Bro that intake filter ..... chnage it lol . An add a dam thermal spacer !!!
I would love to see some more G35 vids!!
Hope I get to meet u beauts at driven Toronto. These drift builds are looking so good and can’t wait to see more drift videos. Keep up the good work
Until you guys get a new exhaust system I would definitely cut the other side of the exhaust out right behind the cat, I'm not one of those people that says that you need back pressure on your engine but I know that it's not a good idea to have different back pressure on 1 side than the other, it can cause damage.
Looking forward to the next drift event! Leaving me hanging here on the engine temp results. 😆
Been waiting all weekend for a Robbie video!!!!
That tiny cooler is for the power steering! Nissan uses a coolant donut loop directly behind oil filter to “cool” the oil.
I have a g35 couoe for drifting and when i get to the track i take off the bumper and the hood helps a lot with heat:)
put that brace back! should help stiffen the back end.
Hell yes being waiting for a new vid❤️
Can you guys do a headlight restor on the g
I really think that after building Jenny that you should give the same treatment to the g, since I really think that Chris deserves a solid car. A few mods like exhaust and just cleaning up the appearance can make this car a for sure favorite on the channel
Lmao I literally just gutted my 05 rev up sedan last weekend and thought the foam inserts were so weird! Insane how much that sound deadening actually works 😅 I can hear every piece of sand hit underneath now lol I love it tho
Turning it into a tube chassis would be pretty dope. Not sure if anyone has done that with a g 🤔
Go find the final bout video about dab sedan, guy has a tube Fran front end with twin turbo slapped ontop the de that came in the car, wish I still had mine I just trade my sedan:(
next on the list: making a jack point for the G
That thing behind the shifter is a gyroscope so when the car feels like it’s sliding or gets tapped while drifting it will usually cut almost all power.
Guyssssssss, put a ducktail on both of your drift cars!!!
Put some bucket seats in the back for the ride alongs
I wonder how much simple full cooling system flush and oil flush would help
Considering his coolant looked pretty clean, I don't think it would have done much by itself. The new rad and fans are the big improvement
Just ordered a Koyorad and Mishimoto fans and installed them and wish i knew about Yonaka...
Can't wait for a custom Bash Bar
Can you please list the total cost in the description or video for people who might be interested in building a car similar to the cars you build
You didn’t tell us about Chris’s 350 Z
Dry ice will easily take off sound deadening
yasmine is perfect for track day
Robbie what happened with Chris’s Z?
put the roofracks back please 😞 it needs to be there
The sound deadening stuff doesn’t take long to come out. Get dry ice, throw it down on it. Let it sit for 5 minutes and start chipping away
Not the roof rack 😭😭😭
It looks so much cooler 😢😔
maybe you should consider about leaving the rear x, it kinda works like a rear strut bar
Those new fans gonna blowout the water pump. 😂
Another Drift video!? SIGN ME UP!
yonaka-na lie, nice fluid
HELL YES ROBBIE
“Nee sans”😭
I wonder if this would be a good first car...
The drift aspect... obviously
What are your thoughts on a rally/winter drift car??
the box by the handbrake is the yaw sensor
Let’s goooo bro
I said it about the z now im saying it about the g sounds like my straight piped 4runner
Back have to watch after work:(
Nice,But put the rear brace back in :D makes the car tighter :D
Give the G a bit of functional eye candy and get a carbon hood and trunk
I really want to see more of the s10❤️
Suddenly I wanna put this in a Nissan Quest and go for a rip
He needs to unplug that yaw sensor in the center console!!! It will fully disable your vdc so your car doesn’t cut power when drifting just make sure to unplug the battery
You guys should remove the rear doors just for fun and test it’s weight because I think it would be okay at track (not sure)
haha a bag of winkys
Take the VDC module out ma boy, if you want bigger skids that's what you need to do
Hey does anyone want to help me out, I have a g35 and it’s something thats bothering em, whenever I put it in drive it clunks into gear, if I have the car in drive without going it doesn’t make any noise, but as soon as I start going it sounds like a loud whirling sound, it has a tranny code but its something about the PCM
If its overheating there's other problems. Problems you have when you just mod shir and don't drove old cars you have to fix when they break
By " around the block, does Chris mean the old 'B drive'?
Did the scale move at all when Robbie stepped off?
The German part is what you can unplug to completely disable traction control and abs/vdc
FLOCK THE DASH
exhaustttt
Yo nice video
U coming to drivin Winnipeg on sept 11
Missing the old budget build vids!
why leave the AC system in?
Would love to get a 6mt sedan g35. I'd trade my car for one even a stock one in a heart beat
You can clean up the engine with some seafoam
That “made in Germany” part is the Yaw sensor
What’s up Robbie!!
what intake is that?
Quick question my guy 😅 That oil cooler is for the engine or tranny oil???
It’s for the transmission/power steering.
Bruh my Nissan Xterra is made entirely in the US 😂
vtec rims for the Honda
AYEEEEE
Just get some dry ice and hit the floor the sound isolation shit will come up easily and its heavy as fuck pulled it all out of my e46 and it took like 30/45 minutes
Let’s gooo
Hey! How's everyones day been?
Stellar just got home from work and new Robbie video is live.
great! about to get on my flight to seattle at 6:50 pm from kalispell, MT! i gotta get back to makin memes (i run the meme page)
bruh why did i forget about the Z lol
The G looks best with the bronze wheels. Like if you agree
Yo what's wrong with german parts?
Use stock rad cap, shroud and fans, thank me later.
Noooo the racks
That’s called the black box
First💯💯💯
Can we appreciate the music he is using for the edits, such a cool hip-hop-ish modern vibes, cof cof I don't like Shank's new rock sh1t
Robbie doesn’t read comments 😭
