In the case of Venezuela, the population supported and brought into power the governments of Hugo Chávez and Maduro. These administrations brought about the crisis by bad government. I speak as a citizen and resident of México where we definitely have our own problems with poverty.
We all want a better future. The U.S. has to take care of it's own citizens before taking on thousands of immigrants whose own country should be responsible for their welfare. For asylum seekers who came with nothing, they shouldn't complain about any accomodations afforded them. We have thousands of our own poor who need help. To be honest immigration should be limited until we fix our own problems.
and that's the problem. You've been sold a lie that's been framed as if we couldn't easily accommodate all people who are languishing in poverty within US. This is nationalist talking points. We can care for all our people and those who come here to become our people. We just have to reform the power structure and frankly just redistribute the wealth from greedy corporations, board of directors, and lobbyists. We can't accommodate their level of greed.

Just want to know why do these people think they supposed. to live better than our own citizens that's in shelters. But I guess they probably do feel better way saying that they get $650 in Stuyvesant. And plus we put them up in a luxury hotel. We spoil them from the minute they got on our soil they're too entitled. But it is our government's fault. We help everyone before we have our own.. and they're so ungrateful. And these men are going to be a problem.
We cannot afford all of these people. We can’t afford the people that are citizens of the United States. That should not be hard for you to understand if you live here
We spend more on our military THAN all the nations in the world combined... We can afford to feed, clothe, and house all the homeless people AND migrants here...Greed and people like you prevent that from happening.
We can afford them when we give them work permits and tax them like every other person. When the rich pay their fair share of taxes there will be less disparity.
The hosts tried to portray Reuben as a needy soul and he gave NY a 2 star Yelp review. All Reuben needs is a P O Box so his sisters can send him more money. So they're offering them tickets to anyplace else? May I suggest Florida.
Heck NO, the whole state is over burdened already. They would probably be bussed right back. Hey, that's an idea...free train tickets for a free ride to their choice...see the USA, just keep riding. Of course free food vouchers and private bedsitter. Train should be limited to no more than 50 mph. Yeah, sounds good to me.
The guy is openly saying that he’s an economic migrant (and therefore here illegally), and demanding a “work permit” which presupposes a claim of political asylum. This is just insane.
The worst part is he doesn't even really want to work. If he did, he would learn at least some English with all the free time he has (like what do those clowns DO all day?) These so-called "migrants" are revolting.
Its definitely essy to spend time out in the shit when you get paid to do it, have a family and warm home to go back to when youve had enough for the day.

Stop saying that they were evicted. Eviction is what happens to someone who is renting a place to live. These people are not renting, they are living there for absolutely free. And as such, they have absolutely no right to demand to stay there. And the fact that we are even arguing about this is outrageous.
Well Maduro is a dictator in Venezuela so that's why they want to leave. Maduro has made the country impoverished. Its an oil rich country yet that resourse is not being handled well.
@@winning3329 this is not to justify them because they already have fought against the dictatorship for years, thousands of them dead because of it (try searching those videos, they are very cruel); however, that doesn't make them entitled to enter a country and expect to be treated like a small child that the government has to take care of them. Some of them go because all they know is that government will cover all your expenses as long as you let corruption happen and be part of it. Really sad.
I truly feel bad for New York... I know it was the hub for immigration in the past, but DEAR GOD.. the entitlement and delusions of grandeur are so apparent, it's sickening...
The immigrant men that are protesting and refusing to go to the shelter should be taken back to the border and escorted across it. Also, NO IMMIGRANT should be staying at a 5star hotel when America has homeless people sleeping in the cold. The entitlement of these people is DISTURBING. They should've protested and fought for their rights in their OWN COUNTRIES!!!!!
@LadyWarrior almost all of the migrants are mostly men of fighting age. Taking in women and children is different than taking in strong healthy men that are fully capable of supporting themselves. The children need their mother's to watch them, most of the men abandoned their children and have no children to watch.
@LadyWarrior If you are truly against feminism then you need to stop doing the things that feminism fought for, like driving and working and voting and owning a bank account and opening up a business. Please educate yourself about feminism because you look silly dissing a movement that actually helped you and your female family members not be a second-class citizen in America.
Unbelievable. The sense of entitlement from people who have contributed nothing is amazing. They should be grateful for anything they get and don't have to pay for.

That is the law. Immigrates should have to act in a respectful manner. You're a guest in my house. I am disgusted that they're throwing food away and trashing hotels. We have tons of homeless people who would love to stay there.
My sympathies lie with those native New Yorkers who are homeless and not given the same services. We need to spend billions on our own citizens first. As the old adage states "charity begins at home." His needs should not have priority over NYC residents!
But why not spend billions on both simultaneously because they're both human beings deserving of basic rights such as housing? Like, why make it worse for them instead of making it better for all?
Welcome to the American life! Even American citizens are being laid off, not able to find stable jobs, and unable to even afford housing or food. We are all going through hard times and just because you walked through a jungle doesn’t mean you should get better treatment than American citizens who are homeless & starving. These migrants feel they are so entitled to many things we Americans don’t even get.
These people feel like royalties…. How about a little bit of humbleness to begin with and while we are at it, how about a little bit of gratitude too kid? All we hear from these guys is I want this and I want that and we don’t like this and we don’t like here and … blah , blah, blah… …
So let me get this straight. You traveled through the jungle and several other countries but have a hard time relocating to Brooklyn because it's not like the hotel you were staying at. That's crazy.
Exactly how dare this illegals demand this country's help when they entered it illegally they need to shut up n go back home n or find a way to support themselves, enough already enough,
There are plenty of Americans who don’t know where their next meal is coming from and yet in this case they are rejecting and throwing away perfectly good food 😮
They all need to be sent back home, the sheer gall. Then, those with kids get put on housing list AHEAD of American citizens, who get pushed further and further down the list! This is the REAL Humane Emergency!!

@@iprainwater5495 do you know how the system works? you actually do petition for asylum if you cross at an authorized crossing, which it sounds like he did, as he says he went straight into US military custody. If he is found not to qualify for asylum when he has a hearing, then it would be illegal for him to stay. It is legal to be in the country you request asylum from while you are pending a decision on that asylum claim.
"We want a better future?" So does every U.S. citizen, veteran, and legal immigrant who has or is contributing to the welfare of this country. Our homeless citizens should be offered warm accommodations and food as you all are. Instead, they are sleeping in the subways, parks, streets, and under bridges. So for him and others to have the audacity to demand humane treatment when their own countries don't even care leaves me shaking my head.

There is nuance to be added here about U.S. intervention and overthrow of Latin Americans governments, as well as crippling sanctions imposed when Venezuela doesn’t align with U.S. economic interests. A consequence of imperialism is economic refugees coming to the imperial core. We need our government to stop meddling.
@@katieakin9397 Your premise is absolutely correct however, the criteria in which asylum into the U.S. can be claimed is very specific. Your nuanced comment while true, would still not qualify them to seek asylum in the U.S. Which is probably what they're claiming in order to enter the U.S.
If you wanted a place to go, wanted a work permit, wanted to build a life and didnt want to trek through the jungle risking your life and health then perhaps it would have behooved you to come to the U.S. legally! The audacity of these people is mind blowing
From his OWN words, he's been receiving money (MORE than once BTW) from 2 sisters (blood relatives)who live in Chile to finance his travels. WHY not go to Chile instead then if his sister's are able to find the money to finance his travels, opportunity for work there seems a lot better than here. He'd have family members to help with finding housing and jobs, plus not having to deal with a language issue. Is he REALLY running away from legal problems in Venezuela and then trying to pretend to be seeking asylum here in the US? If so, how many others are trying the same thing?
As if any of this remotely matters. Acting like you contribute anything to improve quality of life of those stuck in systematic poverty. Like you do anything to stand against the current power structure to address those already here in poverty.
The title says it all. "We want a better future". These are NOT asylum seekers. Deport him and those like him and we'd have the resources to house true asylum seekers and process their paperwork in a timely manner.
@Russo Zelinsky i totally agree. We need to stop incentivizing anchor babies. For those anchor babies and DACA recipients already here we need to deport the other family members, aka the criminal parents. People need to stop whining that we would be splitting up families. Those parents can take their kids with them if they want. We need to put an end to anchor babies, we need stop chain migration, and we need to criminalize people who are lying about seeking asylum.
You must either be completely uneducated or just that dense. Are you not aware how past decades US has been slowly dismantling its immigration court? There is no such thing as timely manner with a backlog of one million plus. At that waiting after you’ve paid thousands for potential approval. For many in dangerous situations cause by US destabilization of their country, waiting for our inefficient and dismantled immigration courts to process the paper work isn’t feasible. Maybe if you’re that concerned. Then fight to reform our government to stop destabilizing other countries for American corporate interest. Then you won’t have mass refugee migration
@@miasparks167 I am totally aware of the backlog, hence my comment. The first thing we need to do is address the backlog. How many people of that 1 million plus backlog actually have a credible asylum claim? Less than 10%. Don't let the other 90% enter the country in the first place, kick out those who cannot immediately make a credible claim, and there is no longer a backlog. Make them fill out Form I-589 at the border and immediately remove those who don't or can't at least make a somewhat credible claim. Saying who 'want a better life', 'want to pursue your dreams" or "want to work" is not valid. BTW I'm neither dense nor uneducated. I am also not for open borders. And I am not so naive (or in your case, stupid) that I think allowing everyone into the U.S. is the answer.
asylum is usually denied too, so the Biden Admin and these supposed "aid organizations" encouraging people to come here when they'll just be denied is irresponsible. they should instead work on reforming the immigration process so that the legal path is feasible, which is safer and provides better outcomes for everyone involved. then when people arrived, having already secured legal entry and a work permit, they can start building their lives as this man has mentioned wanting to do. I believe this aid worker actually wants these migrants to be dependent on her, otherwise she would be educating them on why they do not have work permits (which has absolutely nothing to do with Eric Adams or any other mayor). These aid groups could be out there advocating for these people to be processed through the system in a reasonable timeframe in order to get work permits and become self-sufficient, but instead she's encouraging them to complain about the support they have been offered regarding food and housing. It was very satisfying to see DN silence her throughout the video, I have to admit.
I feel bad for these people, but there is other countries they could take Asylum from, or just stay in your country until the US meet with the governments of these Latin American countries to help keep their people home. Stay in Venezuela!!
Where does his sense of entitlement come from. Our military sleep on cots, it's a shelter and we all know NY bathrooms! If he wanted a work permit he could have applied for one before hand. His motivations are economic but without any skills he gets fired in 2 hours, so how does this meet asylum requirements?
Someone needs to tell “the child of a migrant” that she enjoys the freedom of this country because of our veterans, many who paid for her freedom with their blood and their lives. Many of these same veterans are homeless, hungry and cold! Does she feel any responsibility to them? America first!
Every one wants a better future. If it was really possible to help the poorest of the poor it’s great, but often the fierce greedy ones find a fraudulent way to get their hands on food/shelter/cash benefits intended for the poor, so governments are left scrambling to help such a great influx of people! It’s easy for anyone to come through the border claiming victim hood or being financially downtrodden, when too many people just want their money on bigger U.S. payouts/handouts to send money back to their home countries
I never thought I would see the day that non- citizenship was a requirement for free luxury apartment in Manhattan. Good lord this mayor is a whole clown.

why shouldn't they complain? When Title 42 ended it let them know America was allowing asylum seekers... they were told they could come here, and the US government will help them. There's not a humble thing about them, all I hear and see is arrogance and demands. You don't demand anything when you're living here for free.
Same. It would be great to help immigrants in need if we were thriving and could spare resources. But right now, our citizens should be first priority. The way we treat the homeless, elderly and veterans is a disgrace.

If the price tag per person who walks in were repeated often enough in the news-the real monthly amounts spent- this situation might change drastically. But I'm sure such information will not be forthcoming from DN or any other media. It is on the order of at least 40K a month per person. The pimping that goes on with migration is absolutely incredible. Catholic Charities/"church" groups, Human Services, corrupt employers, tax funded legal services, corrupt colleges, corrupt city managers, schools cashing in on the extra IEP's.......not to mention the cartels (of many kinds). The whole thing stinks and will not end well. In England SERCO is putting out ads looking for long term rental contracts to house "migrants." It's all about decimating what's left of functioning economies and destroying what independence people have left, so they can't defend themselves from global governance a la Agenda 21/30/ Sustainable Development.
Because the Liberal Democrats have expanded the definition of "asylum-seeker" to mean basically any person of color crossing our border illegally. In reality, asylum is much more narrowly defined, as you've noted here. Someone from Cuba or North Korea or Venezuela might qualify, but someone from Mexico or Honduras or Guatemala does not. "Seeking a better life" is NOT asylum.
Right. He just heard about the fast life, like Scarface, that he would receive if he moved here. These people think they’ll be given free houses and free money and cars if they come here.
He basically describe the typical American struggle when you're homeless. Yes day labor is only a couple days or week of work. Shelters don't provide much privacy and the food may not be that great. Everything he's describing is what typical Americans been going through since day one who were in The homeless

As I once heard, tell them the real struggles they will go through here and perhaps they will think twice before crossing three countries to cross the border illegally. Once you cross illegally there is no work permit, no guaranteed job, hell you are not in any position to make any demands. They are going to find themselves on a bus heading to another airport.
Apartments don’t provide much privacy either and charge too much rent! Yet, most cash strapped Americans/people of the world are living in substandard/cheaply built for profit apartments where mostly unfriendly/even criminals also live!
Sure enough, because I was in the shelter system so I know how it work. It's very long and hard, but only the strong survive. I got my apartment after being in shelter over 10 years, yes 10 years. It was long hard and painful but I made it. Thank god
Thousands of our own people here legally, are living in the streets and in their cars. Welcome to America, we are not responsible for illegals, but have a moral responsibility to care for are own citizens
ASYLUM SEEKERS OR THUGS??? If American homeless people were evicted from a hotel and acted up this way, they'd be removed and go to jail. The word Asylum Seeker to describe THUGS paints a very ugly picture. The law was broken the day they crossed the border illegally and continue to resist our laws. If they behave this way now, what that could be like when granted , yes granted not earned CITIZENSHIP. Are these the best?
Criminals. Three months in the country, already whining and asking for more when he has contributed nothing. Ask the Angel Mom about these border crossers. If these were high IQ, educated European assylum seekers they would be loaded on planes and sent back to Europe. Non-White, non-English speaking and non- Christian is the trifecta for the Biden admin Two out of three will do.
"No one likes to depend on another person" yet they are complaining about free food, free shelter, free health checkup, etc. Clearly they just want to stay in a hotel room that is cleaned and service by taxpayer dollars. Sorry to break the bad news, but even most NYers can't be independent due to the high cost of living. If you are not willing to spend the time traveling from Red Hook to Manhattan or anywhere for that matter, you are in the wrong mindset. Do they even ask how much it cost the city to shelter & provide to them each day? Be a more grateful as taxpayers are bearing the burden of cost for stuff you are complaining about.

So he’s here in the U.S. demanding a work permit, better food and living conditions because he can’t find work in his home country? Unfortunately, he is not a legal asylum seeker. There’s no political persecution or war happening to him in Venezuela.
and it has been very irresponsible of the Biden Admin to encourage people to come here knowing full well they'll be denied asylum, as most people are who apply. My ex-husband sought asylum from his third-world African country that had been taken over in a coup by a dictator who was killing people (political persecution) and his asylum was denied. So these aid workers who act like they want to help but in the end anything these folks pay to immigration lawyers to seek asylum they will probably lose. Ordinary people do not fit the narrative. And if these "asylum seekers" were White, they would have been forcibly stopped at the border. Amy is another RBG just a little quieter, but just as rabid.
With asylum law if your unsafe in your country of origin then you should go to the next safe country. That means that you do not go to the richest country you can find. The only people that have legitimate asylum claims would be those from Canada or Mexico.

We can't accommodate their level of greed.

asylum is usually denied too, so the Biden Admin and these supposed "aid organizations" encouraging people to come here when they'll just be denied is irresponsible. they should instead work on reforming the immigration process so that the legal path is feasible, which is safer and provides better outcomes for everyone involved. then when people arrived, having already secured legal entry and a work permit, they can start building their lives as this man has mentioned wanting to do.
Same. It would be great to help immigrants in need if we were thriving and could spare resources. But right now, our citizens should be first priority. The way we treat the homeless, elderly and veterans is a disgrace.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT
Definitely, these new immigrants aren’t here to work.
True Asylum seekers would be grateful for any bed!
You don't just come here for a better life it's citizens here that want a better life.
Wow Amy, looking at the comment section, you might be out of touch with your audience on this one.
Nope. Just a bunch of conservative, racist trolls spamming.
@@76678-m I suppose that’s possible since Amy seems to make everything about race. These are fertile grounds for that kind of thing.
It's a Reflection of how the overwhelming majority of us City residents feel & How the overwhelming majority of the Country feel. Close the border & DEPORT them
@@johnbuckner2828 America’s foundation was setup on race however I’m Black American that that is staunchly against immigration. It tears down the wage wall and takes jobs from my peoples first. There’s a lot of nuance in this convo that Amy isn’t willing to have.
@@jtt1928 Bernie Sanders used to be against immigration too; for the same reasons as you.
So even just to communicate with one of them we need another person to translate. Wtf are we doing in this country.
I don’t know what are they expecting as soon as they come to the US? An instant job? A housing accommodation? Free meal? What if they did not get all this? They should have done some research and ask before they crossed the border.
They should demand in their country.
What about helping homeless AMERICAN CITIZENS????
America last
The government no longer cares about them.
💯
You hit the nail on the head
I couldn’t have said it any better myself 👍
imho, By his Own Words he's Not here because of Political Asylum Reasons.
His life was Not in Danger nor was he being Persecuted.
I feel bad for these people, but there is other countries they could take Asylum from, or just stay in your country until the US meet with the governments of these Latin American countries to help keep their people home. Stay in Venezuela!!
We all Agree & want them DEPORTED.
Exactly it's all backwards
Right! Stay where you were then there's not a problem. Everyone cant come gere! They all should be arrested
I’m sure NY does not need anymore criminals and thugs.
Because they are not looking for asylum cause there is no problems in their countries, just bad economy, n they are looking for free everything yeah people this illegals are very smart they want to use our country for their own selfish n greedy purpose, live for free with our tax dollars, that's all😡😡
Agree seems like they want to stay in the Hamptons smh
Are you ready for their attitudes THE NERVE
That independent attitude is how we as Latin Americans are. With jobs they will take care of themselves. There is always a bad bunch in all races that's just the way it is.
I feel bad for these people, but there is other countries they could take Asylum from, or just stay in your country until the US meet with the governments of these Latin American countries to help keep their people home. Stay in Venezuela!!
Its a 5 star hotel they're after....same in Europe...they're NEVER happy
I’m really sick of this mess
Right!!
The solution we need is to reform our immigration policies so that these people can be vetted and provided with work permits.
_If you give a mouse a cookie, it's gonna want a glass of milk._
This is as true here as it is in many other areas of everyday life.
I feel bad for these people, but there is other countries they could take Asylum from, or just stay in your country until the US meet with the governments of these Latin American countries to help keep their people home. Stay in Venezuela!!
@@SuperBullaMan I think the solution is for him to remain in his home country and organize to fix it via political pressure, general strike, etc. It's a quick fix to simply go to another country to find work. It's not easy to organize with your fellow countrymen and change your country for the better but that's is what's needed.
Why is it DEPORTATION is a dirty word….? GET THEM OUT!
I would like a better life to in America where my son sleeps on a mattress on the floor , where we have to live with mold because we can’t afford to move , I like to be able to buy more than $60.00 a week for food.I would like the father of my children to pay all the support I didn’t get all these tears for my kids I would like to think that I matter .
It's not about being human It's about what's right. We have homeless people here for years migrants pop up and all of sudden there's immediate help. And some of these homeless are vets who served our country died for us. Yet these people haven't contributed a damn thing just more problems. And by the way how were the bathrooms in their country? And what's colder ? sleeping outside or in a shelter? We shouldn't be responsible for these migrants. We the American people have problems of our own with the economy, homelessness , crime, covid. We are just going to continue to be taxed while the migrants get things they haven't earned. They should just deal with their problems like we do.
To be objective, Being in poverty in America is a cake walk compared to poverty in latin America.
Honestly, you're just being selfish. You've obviously bought into the propaganda that frames this situation horribly. "They got it what about me"
Maybe take that up with the unbridled greed of corporations, board of directors, and the lobbyist politicians. Being inhumane to a group of people just cause you're being oppresses is pathetic and childish
Give them work permits so that they can work without being abused, these people want to work! We need workers! It would help the economy, and they would be able to pay rent and be stable. I get it as a veteran that should be upsetting.
Thank you for your service, you're a true hero, and unfortunately this country doesn't value you the way it should.
These poor people were just looking for a better life for their children, in their country they had no food, or diapers, these are asylum seekers.
The work permits would also mean that they too would pay taxes. We need to help each other now, COVID destroyed a lot and took a lot of loved ones, work, security. Now is the time to be united and care for one another.
@@miasparks167 It's obvious you have some kind of bias but you need to state the facts. Being impoverished in America is NOT a cake walk! Especially for Black Americans and single people. There is no section 8, no SNAP benefits, no cell phones for single Americans that fall into poverty. For Black Americans there's no help unless there are children involved and even then its the bare minimum. If they are the working poor it gets even worse with a cherry on top called racism!!
They shouldn't make demands we owe them nothing. And we didn't put them in this situation if you've paying attention they are very ungrateful. Not all of them but for most. Earn what you want and take the help you get. Beggars can't be choosers. To those people that feel upset by not putting migrants in luxury hotels take a couple of families to your home. Helping people to a certain level is fine. But when the people that you are helping are ungrateful no help should be provided. We laid down our lives for this country lost limbs and fought to make sure you live free. And yet still we have a lot of homeless that are ignored and overlooked these migrants come in and instantly they get help. In order for us to help someone we have to help ourselves first. Not being selfish just brutally honest.
@@miasparks167 How would you know? Have you ever been homeless? Most likely not. If they want a better future they should fix their country. Not run from it. It's not selfish to want the best for your fellow citizens from a system you pay into. That is a reasonable take. YOUR take is childish and ignorant.
So he would take from women and children for his own comfort, unbelievable. Besides, he has resources! OMG...he's a grifter not only taking from America but from his family! How dare he complain. He needs to call his sisters and go back home. Besides not seeking asylum! This is egregious!
I am human and have a heart but I am so mind blown that they have come here demanding rooms at a 5 ⭐️ hotel that cost $500 a night, New York City is paying over $1,000,000 a month to house them in these hotels. Once they got here they lost all gratitude. our government doesn’t treat our own citizens as good as they are being treated. We have millions of American born and raised citizens that sleep on our streets year round for decades and not once has the government built them a WARM shelter while supplying FOOD. It’s extremely DANGEROUS, IRRESPONSIBLE and DISTURBING what this government is doing to our country
Exactly
We eat a lot of starches bc it’s cheap
This is Bidens fault just letting them in without a plan to care for all of them period
So how’s he going to finish his education here???? Freee??? Everything free????
My impression of Ruben is that he had an easy life, either in Venezuela or Chile. I don't think his parents were poor, and he seems to have gone to a good school. I'm surprised he has no family or family friends here.
Its called entitlement he thinks he deserved.
Virtual meets reality.
How did you get that impression?
@@toyinoliviajibowu7807 That's a good question. It's difficult for me to explain, but his language (not the voice-over) is proper. Spanish speaking countries are similar to English speaking in that poorer, less educated people don't speak the language the same. If we were in Venezuela, watching their news interview some thug type from America speaking English, the translator would try to clean up some but we would still recognize him from what we hear him say and his mannerisms. It's just an impression, I don't know this young man... but, I "recognize him."
@@toyinoliviajibowu7807 Because he has absurd expectations.
He sound like opportunity seeker or job seeker than asylum seeker! Illegals crossing should stop at border, not at local news media!
Why didn’t these people get together and fight their own government in their own country but they’re here in America fighting American government for what they want? something is not right with this and there’s more men then women out there them women and children I live and nyc and seen it
The audacity is that they make demands in this country that they never would make in their own country.
I agree!
Millions are coming because they've been told that they get free everything! This is all by design and guess who designed it??
I ' m colombian and AT FIRST our country felt emphaty for these migrants coming through an open border and THEN they started commiting crime and missconduct we see them with very cautioness.
COLOMBIAN AND VENEZUELAN THEY ALL THE SAME!!
Why does their better future have to be paid for by American workers who will then be replaced.
This is outrageous!! He doesn’t have everything perfect and complains. Get out.
🎉🎉😂😂❤ yes leave, if things are terrible go to Chile with your sisters
WHERE ELSE WILL U GO! WHERE! WHERE! WHERE! 😮
I wish democracy now could interview ordinary Americans who are homeless right due to landlords refusing to rent because most families don't have that high income jobs or a 759 credit score. We have American families struggling to find housing..
Exactly, it’s truly appalling that poor citizens are often placed in the back seat/back of the line for assistance/a helping hand! Jesus Christ loves all poor people equally!
Ordinary people do not fit the narrative. And if these "asylum seekers" were White, they would have been forcibly stopped at the border. Amy is another RBG just a little quieter, but just as rabid.
Doesn't fit their narrative. Democracy Now is a far left channel.
They never will
With asylum law if your unsafe in your country of origin then you should go to the next safe country. That means that you do not go to the richest country you can find.
The only people that have legitimate asylum claims would be those from Canada or Mexico.
And you need to fight for a better life,in your country
These people literally were staying in a $500 a night hotel, where the majority of Americans can’t even afford to stay. This is absolutely insane. You come to a country illegally and you are this entitled.
The Watson hotel was empty before it was used for housing.Stop spreading hateful information and act in Christian faith.
Thinking the same thing when we have Americans who are vets and the sick living on the streets, they complaining about the shelter which is much better and more humane than living at the Mexican border
How far do people commute to get to the city everyday? Homeless people in shelters don't have a choice where they are placed.
👍
The entitlement is sickening.
Where is the money coming from for all this free housing. It has to come from some where and people can't afford higher taxes to pay for this. People have a hard time paying for food and rent or mortgages and high property taxes themselves. The country has its own homeless to look after
Translation = you bussed and flew us here. Now we expect you to support us in the lap of luxury. We don’t care about your veterans and homeless suffering, we only care about ourselves. You promised to give us whatever we want.
So they endured a terrible journey to America, and then when they get here, complain about the housing, lack of work, and have advocates claiming they are ENTITLED to better housing with a homeless issue looming over most major cities. THIS WILL END BAD 😔😮💨
