Lloyd Nolan plays a door-to-door survey taker who thinks he's hit the jackpot when he calls on a frustrated housewife (Cathy Lewis) Instead of taking quick advantage and leaving, he falls in love with the woman. Before he knows it, he's hiding in the bedroom closet with a hammer waiting to bash her husband's head in! OY! Political stupidity abounds. I GUESS the Governor is just being OVERLY cautious. Things are starting to open up in Manitoba and visitors have just started to be allowed, but even then they're being CAUTIOUS. Better safe than sorry, I guess.
I guess you'll have to make do by leaving books , and letters and chocolates at the desk and HOPE your wife will get them. You might have to go OLD SCHOOL and write little love notes with the flowers.
Not to worry about the shows. Worst case scenario, I listen to a few repeats. Hardly the worst thing that could happen. Put first things first. We'll cope.
