Moonpelt I find it stupid that people who are fans of this show laugh at adults who watch My Little Pony (and to a lesser degree, Adventure Time). Hey, at least the writers of those shows know how to do a really simple thing with their writing, a real simple, three-letter word: *TRY.* Putting effort into a show you're writing, no matter what the audience, generally does get more praise. And really, how are people who watch cartoons with themes like friendship, teamwork, determination, and generally doing the right thing, considered, by default, immature compared to people who watch a show that consists of characters acting like dicks to each other, random bullshit, random gore for the hell of it, and pop culture references?
Moonpelt Now here's something truly depressing. I'm 18, and this was my graduation year. When we we're in a homeroom-esque class, we were trying to decide a movie to watch for the whole class on a day scheduled entirely for that class and for fun. I suggested a Disney movie, don't remember which one, but the kids behind me, who was in the same graduating class, legitimately asked how old as was in the most offensive tone possible, because apparently that kind of movie is only for kids. And this is the same guy who legitimately said, in class, when we were discussing politics, that "women belong in the kitchen because they're not fit for office." My point? I'm saying that even people in their upper teens are stupid enough not to understand when a movie is of quality work and would legitimately ridicule his peer, in front of the friggin teacher no less, for liking something different. To top it all off, he's, 17-18, and he has a girlfriend that I wager is 14-15. So yeah, this is a fucked up world we live in.
Kyle Krazer I know, but I can't feel sorry for their children, and (sometimes) their future spouses. It's kinda sad that I'll probably watch CN my whole life because shows designated for my... I guess you could say demographic, they're often crap. God, The Devil, & Bob, from what I saw, I thought it was good, and the pilot of South Park seemed like Disney for adults, but that's it.
I think that this episode had ONE good joke: Peter rips up his birth certificate, and fades away into hell. I actually kinda laughed because I hate Peter with a strong passion.
TheMelon Pig once upon a time when the show didn't have a massive ego, she (as well as just about everyone else who works for family guy) was good but everyone started fucking up
That's how the entire series should end. With Seth Mcfarlane sitting in a director's chair. He says 'The Aristocrats' and then he gets smashed by Lois' piano from the opening.
You know something? Apparently, in real life, adult incest isn't allowed in Vermont, the only state it is allowed in is Rhode Island, which is, you know, the state that Family Guy takes place in. Then again, this is Family Guy, when do they get their facts straight at all?
Earlier family guy was better. Characters were likable and actual lessons were learned. Also the cutaways were good and people who didn't get them usually didn't get the references. Now everyone's an asshole and they go for shock value
+GalacticGamer97 It really hasn't changed. Family Guy is just much more blunt about how shitty the characters are. Because people never caught on until Seth McFarlane put it out on the table for everyone to see.
Remember when Family Guy had good plots, likable characters, relevant point, funny jokes, and only about 5 or so cutaways per episode? The fuck Seth? The fuck.
June28July Yeah that seems to be the case. I guess he's stuck between not wanting to do the show but not wanting to lose the money he makes from doing it
"This is why they were fighting. For a man to marry his son." Hahaha.... yeah. We also fought for you to make those crappy, insulting jokes. Thank you for putting your freedoms to good use, Family Guy. You make us fighting and dying for our country so freaking worth it.
+Mackenzie Ferry Or he is so sick of Family Guy that he's making shit episodes on purpose to have them cancelled. His plan doesn't seem to be working yet.
there was even one that aired recently where Chris sent a picture of his dick, got sent to rehab, and then just returned to his normal self at the end. but at least brian called the whole episode pointless at the end
I think seth macfarlane said multiple times that he only wanted to do 7 seasons of family guy. after the 8th season he quit caring and wants to see how far he can go before the show gets canceled. What you said also makes a lot of sense, but I don't think it's the only thing.
I actually chuckled at Joe saying "I don't know what's normal anymore". That was pretty well timed considering the way his wife had become trying to kill him all the time. Also Stewie's remark at the end got a laugh... I have a weird sense of humor.
@@redjirachi1 A Sixth Sense twist would make too much sense at this point...Hell, even a Silent Hill twist where *everyone* is dead and a ghost but doesn't realize it, and Quahog is an Earthly Purgatory for the damned souls of the wicked would work at this point, it would explain a lot imho...
I originally thought that Allen Gregory was a short adult who everyone mistook was a kid. I found out it was the opposite when I watched the first episode.
@@isabelerhart9523 I mean I use to sneak and watch it on adult swim when I was like 9 but that was when the show was good but now the show is full of edgy humor and it’s just not funny anymore
@@isabelerhart9523 Well IDK how old you are, but I'm sure that when you were 11, Family Guy was a decent show. And it's not like Family Guy is the only adult cartoon that kids try to watch. - I used to watch The Simpsons when I was a kid. - My older brother frequently watched shows like Celebrity Death Match, South Park, and Beevis and Butthead. - Not to mention, I'm pretty sure almost everyone in this generation has watched at least one episode of Robot Chicken as a kid. - Others have watched shows like King of the Hill, Futurama, and pretty much anything featured on Adult Swim.
He's just jerking off his grand dad. What is actually immoral about that? People readily rebuke heterosexual incest because "oooo retard babiez" but it would be interesting to see someone explain it beyond substanceless sanctimony.
I kind of liked this episode, and even some jokes involved. I just didn’t like the proposal between Peter and Chris, while the everything else seemed wholesome to me. I would rank it in the C+ Tier, but wouldn’t blame people for putting it in the F Tier.
What I find ironic is The amazing world of Gumball does a better job at making disturbing jokes than modern Family guy. 5:08-5:12 actually explains why Gumball does it better. 7:33-7:41 happen in the Gumball episode the job with one joke.
Can you imagine being an actor and having to say a emotional speech about incest and having to do it in a sincere genuine way? Like how the fuck do you possibly say something that fuck up sincerely and genuinely?!
I think one reason why they have this kind of stuff so often in Family Guy is because many people think that adults cant watch and enjoy an animated show or movie if it does not have a big bunch of stuff that people dont think kids should see in it. Like that animation can only be for adults if it got brutal violence, blood and gore, sex stuff and other kinds of disturbing things in it.
yeah that always irked me, like if a cartoon aimed for adults doesn't have crude humor, sex, ect people just see it as a kids show, I mean who says a show for adults has to be dirty? I mean look at Andy Griffin or little house on the prairie, yeah it's for a general audience but still you shouldn't have to work blue just because it's for adults at lest that's what I think
SeayDragon85 Yea there are hundred of adult live-action shows that dont have any big violence or sex stuff in it but if a cartoon show or movie does not have any of that stuff in it everybody seems to consider it a kids show or kids movie. Feels really unfair to me that animated shows and movies cant be taken seriously and be considered something adults can watch and enjoy unless they got that stuff that people dont want kids to see in it.
Annie the Dark Child Yeah, that sounds about right. It's either that, or all three of his shows really ARE the same thing and he just won't admit it to himself.
KannaJuwl For some reason, I feel even American Dad! is just a bit better than Family Guy. It doesn't have 5,000 cutaways a millisecond (it don't even have cutaways to begin with), it ain't full to the brim with gross out humor, and modern Stan Smith is just a little less insufferable than modern Peter Griffin.
Thank you for that running gag of Chris and Carter's skeevy laughing being an accurate depiction of the writers during the production of Fresh Heir. That recontextualizing of that scene was the funniest thing I've seen all day. July 22, 2020, 9:59pm
I know that you can put pretty much whatever you want into an adult cartoons, but doing so doesn't make it automatically funny. I know I'm just repeating what most people are saying, but this is just sad. I mean, you can, theoretically, make jokes that center around pedophilia, parental neglect, and other subjects, that make it clear that you think it's a very bad thing. You can even use those jokes to educate your audience, dispel myths surrounding the subject, or provide *genuine* social commentary. You can talk about things frankly and still have compassion and intelligence. Right? Even some of the worst episodes of good kids' shows do this better than Family Guy, and Family Guy has the great opportunity to actually discuss serious subjects more openly than, say, MLP. This show doesn't even try a little bit. Not even a little. The plot, the jokes, and the editing is so horrendously, distractingly lazy, that the shock value doesn't even come through that much. It drags too long, it rushes, it feels choppy. These are professionals with years of experience. Why are most fan-made videos I've seen better than this? Being willing to criticize different groups, even ones that you sympathize with or support, is possible too. I mean, just look at early Simpsons episodes. But insulting every group possible (like the military, Catholics, etc) for no reason is not the same thing. Again, it's just shows that the writers are not trying anymore, not to mention being mean-spirited. Calling any group stupid is not social commentary. Trying to shock people is not edgy. Making light of serious subjects is not cool. Adventure Time is a better show for adults than Family Guy. And it's not even an adult cartoon. Anyway, this comment is too long, but this review is great.
Plushypony 94 Right on. I wish more adult cartoons would actually try to be...well, adult. And of course, there's more to being an adult than just knowing what sex is, or using swear words, or knowing that, yes, abusive families, political corruption, and people who are opposed to religion exist. You can tackle these subjects in an adult way, even in a comedy show). And I would think, the most important thing about representing such a subject in an adult way would be not representing the opposing side as a straw man or caricature (looking at you, "Not All Dogs Go To Heaven"). Also, contrary to what the people behind Family Guy think, cutaways and randomness don't need to be in every corner for an adult cartoon to be successful (King of the Hill didn't need them, and neither did Futurama). And yes, Adventure Time is awesome. :D
ElectricMayhem87 Yeah, and I especially agree about Futurama and King of the Hill. It's been awhile since I've seen Futurama, but as I recall, neither show needed to throw crazy, random, offensive stuff in the viewers face all the time to keep their attention, because they (generally) had interesting plots, as well as characters who weren't all soulless stereotypes. It's as if the writers of Family Guy have a rather... low opinion of their viewership. I feel like my intelligence is being insulted when I watch any amount of it. AAAAdventure Time!!! ^_^
spkyscrysklltn Yes, because being a quality show = being a "colorful pretty pony tumblr hugbox." (really, did you just pick every Internet troll cliche you could think of?). Whatever the fuck this show is trying to do, it sucks at it. Why don't you stop crying and go enjoy your cartoon, and let people who hate it think what they want?
Why is the animation so poor?? Like 90% of the time they're sitting moving their hands and moving their lips, but whenever it's not that, every movement feels fast forwarded and it feels like they only drew the keys for the animation but they couldn't bother to draw the in-between frames. And it's not like theirs is a super complicated style. Shows with a more realistic style like Avatar: the last Airbender have much better animation.
Family Guy used to be great, as it didn't have any serious plot lines and just kept it basic. It was more of a sketch show as the cut away gags were great as either good jokes or pop culture references. Now it's just trying to be a shock value comedy.
Comedy can be dark, it can be disturbing, but above all else, it has to be funny, this episode like most of the new ones is bad, this series had it's glory days and should end.
I'm not a homophobic. I can respect how many people live their lives. If they're a homosexual couple, I don't automatically dislike them. I just don't approve of their actions. Don't just throw around names like that. It's a personal preference I have. You don't like it? Deal with it.
ModernMan64 sorry but it IS homophobia and not just ~preference~ you dont like them in intimidate relationships soley because of their gender. Thats homophobic As long as you dont bother them its fine but its still a homophobic view
What the passing time did to Family Guy is what fame did to Pantera in the 1990s, they clinged to a tough guy image and developed a god complex, saving years of musical integrity and then deluding teenagers into thinking any kid on the street can be a hulking. beefcake through words.
Fun fact: Cherry Cheva (the guy with the cool name) is the only female writer on the family guy staff at the moment. Maybe they need more females on the staff to make it better? (I sound like a feminist right now smh)
There's a difference between feminist and feminazi. I have met many males and females of my generation, and have observed other generations on a low scale; women tend to use their brains more, even my mom, who's a former Special Ed teacher, has said that; so assuming you sound like a feminazi for saying more female writers might actually SAVE the show is like me saying we should try making more animated shows geared towards young boys be focused around girls to prove women can be tough too.
It's because little kids think it's the best show ever made. They think they're cool because they watch an "adult cartoon". Basically, it's for idiot kids who are too young to watch South Park and are too dumb to understand shows like The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Futurama, or Rick and Morty.
I agree it's a bad episode and all, but I don't think it's quite fair to say that the writers thing this kind of behavior is acceptable in real life. Not all animation is kids stuff about teaching morals. They're not trying to tell us peter is a good person and this is how people should act. It's just a stupid comedy, I think you're taking it far more seriously than the writers or even the show's fans do, as if it has any sort of impact on the way people behave.
True, but in Herpe the Love Sore, Mr. Enter realized that they were really spouting off these bullsh*t morals to be serious for the sake of being serious, Plus, the plot and other jokes in Fresh Heir are too disturbing to not take as an Animated Atrocities thing, and Herpe the Love Sore was even worse when they had to make disgusting plots out of cutaway gags. October 22, 2016, 7:31am
". . . And it takes about half the episode to actually get to it." That's actually a very common problem with modern "Family Guy." Usually, the actual plots of the episodes don't get started until around the point to when the episode is halfway over. At least in episodes like "Don't Make Me Over" and "And There Were Fewer," it didn't take them very long at all to establish the plot.
The top 3 worst episodes of Family Guy are on par with three of the worst cartoon shows of all time. Fresh Heir-Allen Gregory Stewie is Encentie-Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon Screams of Silence-Drawn Together Family Guy surely wants to be one of the worst cartoons ever.
How I would have written this episode: Chris wants to spend time with Peter, but Peter has been too busy to do so. Carter breaks his leg, and Chris volunteers to take care of him. He hangs out with carter (no incest) and they have fun. After carter’s leg heals, Chris spends more time with Carter. Peter gets nervous that Carter will replace him as Chris’s father (or father figure), so he tries to spend more time with Chris, and they get to know each other more. There. Fixed. It’s that easy.
Fox's schizophrenic copyright BS reminds me of something recently. I tried to upload a playthrough of the PS1 Independence Day game, and Fox blocked it globally instantly cause of the FMV movie cutscenes. Yet other UA-camrs have uploaded full scenes of the movie itself before me, sometimes straight from their TV and got no consequence. And since this episode is also Fox property, it has not yet gotten globally blocked/removed based on that logic. Someone explain what kind of drugs Fox are taking? Why did I get punished when others do worse?
Its a vicious cycle of stupidity. Just like Nickelodeon and Viacom, Fox is starting to implode and all we can do is ether watch it collapse in on itself or see if it makes a comeback.
Mashudes And if Fox is anything like Viacom (which it probably is), That death of the company I mentioned earlier? It is going to be so long and annoying that people WILL be saying to themselves "Would you just fucking die already!?"
So let me get this straight. Derpy Hooves, a character that looks semi-retarded, needs to be censored because her voice, appearance, and behavior are offensive to children and we can't laugh at the disabled. Peter Griffin, a character that is explicitly stated to be retarded, who does as many stupid things as possible and uses said retardation as an excuse, does not need to be removed from television because he's supposedly hilarious. No, I don't see anything wrong with this scenario at all...
Jesus Christ, what happened to this show? I mean Family Guy has always had pretty low-brow humor (not that there's anything wrong with that), but honestly this is just sad.
they try to be as offensive and edgy as possible to use the controversy as a free advertisement. It's actually a kind of smart business move since people attacking the show creates alot of attention for it, which is free advertising, but it also puts the fans on the defensive, which thanks to a handful of cognitive biases people have will actually make them more loyal to the show since they have to fight to justify their positions as fans.
I don't know what happened to adult cartoons in America but now it is all shock humour and lazy jokes with half-ass plots and fart jokes. This is why I watch anime because at least Japan makes more funny comedies and jokes.
Also another reason I like Japanese cartoons more is because in Japan you can create a cartoon( anime ) about anything you like. So basically that means you can make a serious cartoon like attack on titan or a horror anime but in America every cartoon you would try to make would never happen because of nitpicky assholes ( especially when we still have dumbass parents who still think every cartoon they see are for kids ) and because of the suits and people who try to control television. So if you were to make a adult cartoon than it can only be a comedie which sucks.
Andrew Chen My gay what? Dog? Cat? Brother? Sister? Learn to use grammar kid maybe then people will take you seriously and then you can actually make friends.
I don't mind Meg dating Chris, mainly because at least she has someone. Yes, Meg's life is so bad that an incestuous relationship with Chris would actually be an upgrade. That is how terrible they treat her. And I guess you're not a fan of Game of Thrones
Surprisingly, there were 2 lines in this episode that made me laugh. One was "So a man can marry his son in a state with enough trees that no one can see what's going on." The other was "You... You should've know that." One of the lamest things about how boring this show has become is that some of the writers still have some comedic talent but they choose not to use it.
Let me say this to everyone watching, but mostly to you, Mr. Enter. Seth MacFarlane has not been actively involved in the writing of this show for YEARS. He's only voice acting for the show nowadays. He's not the one actively making this show shitty. He doesn't help by not vetoing episodes any normal person would find shitty, as any good executive producer would, but he's the one who wants Family Guy to end most of all. Fox just won't let him. It's a lot like Matt Groening with The Simpsons. I'm betting he's not actively involved with much of the show's production either, which is why The Simpsons is shit as well. They both want the shows to end, but Fox won't let them. Here's the difference though. Family Guy's still turning a profit in merchandise sales. The Simpsons isn't. With every new episode, Fox actually loses money with the costs of production. I can understand that's why they're keeping Family Guy on the air, but not The Simpsons. Anyways, Set isn't entirely to blame. It's only in the fact that he doesn't help matters that he's to blame. Blame the showrunner, not Seth.
I think at this point they just want to see how long The Simpsons can go on. I remember when it was just a crudely drawn bumper cartoon on the Tracey Ullman show. With 27 seasons of The Simpsons it's time to give it a rest. If they want to go for 30 just to break some record or say "Hey! We hit 30!" That is a stupid excuse to keep a show running way way past it's prime. I think a lot of shows should just run 3-5 seasons at most and retire. With some exceptions aside it's usually best to let a show die with dignity than linger on life support for ages.
It does make me feel a bit better that Seth, who I do have respect for due to creating Family Guy in the first place and his decent voice acting range, is not the one writing the terrible modern episodes, at least for the most part.
Here's the simple formula that Family Guy follows, which it annoys the shit out of me when people compare Family Guy to South Park Family Guy: let the story tell the references South Park: let the references tell the story Plus South Park's jokes are relevant to their plots, that's what makes them genius original and memorable Family Guy just tells offensive jokes just for the sake of telling them The only thing Seth McFarlane has ever written is the first 3 episodes of Family Guy, Ted, Ted 2 and A Million Ways to tell the first jokes over and over again. I'm sorry I mean A Million Ways to Die in the West. Wasn't the movie just so FUCKING GREAT Family Guy fans are as repetitive as COD fanboys
This episode and "Seahorse Seashell Party" bascially sum up the reasons why I hate this show with a such a fiery passion that I wish I could rip out Seth McFarlane's heart and sacrifice it to the Sun God like my Aztec ancestors
To me Family Guy is the college student stripping and whoring itself out to pay for college but falling into drug abuse, American Dad is the same college student using his/her degree to redeem him/herself of what they did and contribute to society, Cleveland Show is said college student's ex-dealer/boy/girlfriend returning, and the college student falling into a worse relapse.
Isaac Argesmith At times I do, going back to what Mr. Enter said once about a writer portrays parts of himself onto his characters (or was it Roger Van der Weide in Sonic Dissected... anywho), that shows with Seth Mc Farlane, the "Peter Griffin Character is a staple of all his work, (Peter Griffin, Ted, Cleveland... and to some extent the rest of the cast of that show, Roger) and that pisses me off, that he does so well on American Dad but then like a college student during an exam has to look at his arm for this cheap humor cheat sheet, it's sad really.
"I've gotta get my hair very minutely changed and then spend the next fourteen hours trying to get people to notice." That probably would have been funnier if it didn't have a cutaway attached to it and flowed naturally with the rest of the dialogue. The line itself is amusing (since I do know people who do that), but the cutaway makes it crash and burn.
Unfunny Dilbert 1876 I will admit that episode of Futurama was pretty out there. However in the context of the episode, there were a series of misunderstandings that lead him to believe that she wasn't his grandmother and when it was pointed out that she was... not only did the other characters point out how wrong it was.... Fry, himself, freaked out about it. Screaming because he came to realize he was his own grandfather and not the man he thought.
...I can't be the only one who feels bad for Chris and Meg (Before you say anything stupid, I'm aware they're fictional) and feel like FG thinks that it's funny...or even okay... to be doing...well...THIS!?
Am I the only one who thinks Family Guy isn't going to be around for much longer? It's not just the fact that these jokes are disgusting and tasteless but it's the fact that it's no longer funny.
Believe it or not, there's even a Halloween episode where Chris and Meg in Halloween costumes have sex at a Halloween party, thinking that they're complete strangers, only to realize that they're committing incest when unmasked!
9:10 This line reveals how if you replace “dad and son” with gay ppl in general, this episode becomes way more offensive. That was 100% the point and WOW Family Guy! You got the whole squad laughing… 😐

And people wonder why most adults are watching "kids'" cartoons nowadays. They have this shit targeted toward them.
ElectricMayhem87 I agree with you completely.
And this is the same guy who legitimately said, in class, when we were discussing politics, that "women belong in the kitchen because they're not fit for office."
My point? I'm saying that even people in their upper teens are stupid enough not to understand when a movie is of quality work and would legitimately ridicule his peer, in front of the friggin teacher no less, for liking something different.
To top it all off, he's, 17-18, and he has a girlfriend that I wager is 14-15. So yeah, this is a fucked up world we live in.
TheSpecialPsycho Don't worry. Smucks like that won't make it too far in life.

That's how the entire series should end. With Seth Mcfarlane sitting in a director's chair. He says 'The Aristocrats' and then he gets smashed by Lois' piano from the opening.
What if Family guy is a giant cutaway gag told by Seth McFarlane?
Instead of saying "It's not normal" She should've said "It's incest and you're married to me already! Knock it off now or I'll divorce you!"
Then Divorce Me
You know something? Apparently, in real life, adult incest isn't allowed in Vermont, the only state it is allowed in is Rhode Island, which is, you know, the state that Family Guy takes place in. Then again, this is Family Guy, when do they get their facts straight at all?

I think Seth MacFarlane is making more shitty Family Guy episodes to boost his ratings. Greed, that's all famous people are succumbed to.

***** Yea those shows dont rely on things like this to be funny most of the time.
***** Don't forget Black Dynamite, Metalacolpse and American Dad
In other words, pandering to adults.
yeah that always irked me, like if a cartoon aimed for adults doesn't have crude humor, sex, ect people just see it as a kids show, I mean who says a show for adults has to be dirty?

.
spkyscrysklltn Yes, because being a quality show = being a "colorful pretty pony tumblr hugbox." (really, did you just pick every Internet troll cliche you could think of?). Whatever the fuck this show is trying to do, it sucks at it. Why don't you stop crying and go enjoy your cartoon, and let people who hate it think what they want?
.
I guess because the show’s so popular, people won’t care.... :(
Let's be real here, the best and funniest part of this episode is "Cherry Chevapravatdumrong"
He has a point, Allen Gregory even made a cameo in one episode.

Wha- What the fuck happened to Family Guy!?
The KING The death of artistic integrity happened.
What the passing time did to Family Guy is what fame did to Pantera in the 1990s, they clinged to a tough guy image and developed a god complex, saving years of musical integrity and then deluding teenagers into thinking any kid on the street can be a hulking. beefcake through words.
The KING Ran out of ideas.

+TheSpecialPsycho another difference is that feminists don't hate men. But feminazis do.
Pixl Potato Very true. *Throws a tomato at Anime Sarkesian* WASN'T ME! *Runs off*

The 64th Shadow You have a point. So do I.
wow? ur opinions are facts now!!
". . . And it takes about half the episode to actually get to it."
That's actually a very common problem with modern "Family Guy." Usually, the actual plots of the episodes don't get started until around the point to when the episode is halfway over. At least in episodes like "Don't Make Me Over" and "And There Were Fewer," it didn't take them very long at all to establish the plot.
This is Mr. Enter's best review ever, in my opinion.
Abdullahi Bouraleh
Understandable.
The top 3 worst episodes of Family Guy are on par with three of the worst cartoon shows of all time.
Fresh Heir-Allen Gregory
Stewie is Encentie-Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon
Screams of Silence-Drawn Together
Family Guy surely wants to be one of the worst cartoons ever.
Y'know, Life of Brian could have worked if it was in the earlier seasons because back then he was still pretty likeable.
How I would have written this episode:
Chris wants to spend time with Peter, but Peter has been too busy to do so.
Ruthless Attitude Entertainment Uhhh what?

This whole episode can best be summed up by one of your sayings.
"It's bad. We know it's bad. But we're gonna do it anyway."
Same thing with the ending of Seahorse Seashell Party. Family Guy's writing team is full of pretentious assholes....
I think this show at its worst is WORSE than Allen Gregory.
Seth McFarlane, you ARE just trying to see what you can get away with now, aren't you? Don't even answer, because I already know the answer is "yes."
TheGameMerchant Viacom is the fucking worst...

My god what was I smoking while writing this? I must have been drunk. Nobody should view what this comment once was again.
Nigga, one is owned my Hasbro?
I think that Derpy is strabic or she has a lazy eye
Jesus Christ, what happened to this show? I mean Family Guy has always had pretty low-brow humor (not that there's anything wrong with that), but honestly this is just sad.
they try to be as offensive and edgy as possible to use the controversy as a free advertisement. It's actually a kind of smart business move since people attacking the show creates alot of attention for it, which is free advertising, but it also puts the fans on the defensive, which thanks to a handful of cognitive biases people have will actually make them more loyal to the show since they have to fight to justify their positions as fans.
If they were actually clever instead of them just shoving it in there arbitrarily it’d be better
I actually feel guilty for liking Family Guy in it's first two seasons

and bobs burgers
KOTH - Foreva! Damn that show to me is timeless. It's been playing nonstop on CN/Adult swim for the past what like 5-6 yrs since 09?!
Anime is fucking gay
Andrew Chen Ignore him, I find this guy everywhere making troll comments. For me, I just thumbs down his comments out of boredom.
Andrew Chen My gay what? Dog? Cat? Brother? Sister? Learn to use grammar kid maybe then people will take you seriously and then you can actually make friends.
kush god Like you're one to give advice.
I don't mind Meg dating Chris, mainly because at least she has someone. Yes, Meg's life is so bad that an incestuous relationship with Chris would actually be an upgrade. That is how terrible they treat her.
And I guess you're not a fan of Game of Thrones
Yes because the characters from game of thrones are doing so well right now. I love that show by the way.
+John Porteous That show is terrible and you are terrible,
SecretService1011 Well their kids turned out alrigh...well, two out three is pretty good
Kiki The Fox It's true im terrible, but don't insult game of thrones. It is a very messed up masterpiece.
Surprisingly, there were 2 lines in this episode that made me laugh. One was "So a man can marry his son in a state with enough trees that no one can see what's going on." The other was "You... You should've know that."
One of the lamest things about how boring this show has become is that some of the writers still have some comedic talent but they choose not to use it.
And this is why I don't watch newer Family Guy.
Never expected you to be here shade's. Still awesome you here though.
jeff emerson Yeah, I've been getting pretty into Mr. Enter as of late.
May I Just Say,
Love That Outro Song
+Adrastia It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a fantastic example of keeping your game up after so long.
Seth don't even like this?! You serious?!... (O_O) WOW... That says a lot
So does your grammar.
It does make me feel a bit better that Seth, who I do have respect for due to creating Family Guy in the first place and his decent voice acting range, is not the one writing the terrible modern episodes, at least for the most part.
Here's the simple formula that Family Guy follows, which it annoys the shit out of me when people compare Family Guy to South Park
Family Guy: let the story tell the references
South Park: let the references tell the story
Plus South Park's jokes are relevant to their plots, that's what makes them genius original and memorable
Family Guy just tells offensive jokes just for the sake of telling them
The only thing Seth McFarlane has ever written is the first 3 episodes of Family Guy, Ted, Ted 2 and A Million Ways to tell the first jokes over and over again. I'm sorry I mean A Million Ways to Die in the West. Wasn't the movie just so FUCKING GREAT
Family Guy fans are as repetitive as COD fanboys
"We shouldn't be doing this"
The writers in the nutshell
In reality, a plot based around peter trying to kill him for the inheritance would've been better. Cliche, but better.
Enoch Benton Or even an adaptation of the fanfic "Pushed Too Far".
10:57 That song reminds me of a MUCH better show I should be watching.
Robert Frost is a gem, you take that back Family Guy!!
Talyn has time True!!!
Please do an Animated Atrocity on any episode of "Brickleberry." You know, that terrible cartoon on Comedy Central.
The guy with the weird mouth and the genie already did it.
He says he plans to at some point.
What?? That show is funny. It has no plot really its just for shock humor. And some people love that.
craycray rayray rowdyc.com/tv-trash-brickleberry/
K thanks. I was looking for that.
Hmm, interesting analogy. I applaud you greatly
sh4d0w2013 So people do like American Dad?
Isaac Argesmith
At times I do, going back to what Mr.

Danke
"We're not supposed to be doing this! I bet we're not supposed to be doing this!"
To sum up all of Family Guy's worst episodes:
"What I'm doing is stupid, I know it's stupid, but I'm doing it anyways."
I loved that at the end The Fresh Prince theme song started playing. I love that show! Awesome review btw.
"I've gotta get my hair very minutely changed and then spend the next fourteen hours trying to get people to notice."
That probably would have been funnier if it didn't have a cutaway attached to it and flowed naturally with the rest of the dialogue. The line itself is amusing (since I do know people who do that), but the cutaway makes it crash and burn.
Wasn't there a Futurama episode where Fry screwed his own grandmother?
He didn't know it was his grandmother, so it's not disturbing. Not to mention the other characters recognized how wrong it was.
Beta Brony I guess I can see that, although it is still disturbing considering they not only went through with it, but also had a child together.
Leileya Night I guess some things can be made comical if given the right context.
Unfunny Dilbert 1876 It all just depends on how its delivered. Family Guy just doesn't know how to execute subjects in the right way.
...I can't be the only one who feels bad for Chris and Meg (Before you say anything stupid, I'm aware they're fictional) and feel like FG thinks that it's funny...or even okay... to be doing...well...THIS!?
Am I the only one who thinks Family Guy isn't going to be around for much longer? It's not just the fact that these jokes are disgusting and tasteless but it's the fact that it's no longer funny.
The episode where Bryan kisses his successful yet neglected sons ass to get a job as a tv writer would be a good AA episode
Family guy: Chris will you marry me.
Everyone: Ima head out
"you should have known that" stewies my fav character
how is this show not cancelled
Because 75% of TV community have poor taste.
Atomic Cow Because 90% of the TV community has an IQ of -5.
TwighlightLugia That's more accurate,
***** Except for me.
We've got to have... Money...
you pretty much take the words right out of my mouth with these videos. thank you for these, honestly.
This wouldn't be the first episode to hint at incest between Meg and Chris.
Believe it or not, there's even a Halloween episode where Chris and Meg in Halloween costumes have sex at a Halloween party, thinking that they're complete strangers, only to realize that they're committing incest when unmasked!
@@kingandrewcecil348 It’s an accident. They didn’t know that it was each other.
9:10 This line reveals how if you replace “dad and son” with gay ppl in general, this episode becomes way more offensive. That was 100% the point and WOW Family Guy! You got the whole squad laughing… 😐
I see this video is back up, I don't know you managed to fight the flawed system, but you did, and I'm proud of you.
Keep it up, man.
I have a feeling Seth McFarlane is speaking through Stewie about wanting Family Guy to end, but people just ignore him.
7:55 what Allen Gregory audience
Indeed.
Every time people say MLP i alway think of Major League Pony
The Lion's Fire This needs to be a thing now.
Azoic Rift same
This is what society expects us to watch?
.............................................................................................NO.
good god i have lost all respect for this show
SonicSanctuary I agree, the only episodes i'd willingly watch are the ones from the first 3 seasons
SonicSanctuary
"itz juzt a joke guiz ur so butthurt", say the delusional family guy fanboys.
I've lost respect for FG since 2010.
SonicSanctuary Lost mine long before this episode. You would need a backhoe to find my respect for this show nowadays it's that low
SonicSanctuary I did too I rewatch the 1st 5 seasons
1:35 Holy shit! a Ghost ahlalalalalalal, Lmao! My god that was unexpected I'm dying XD.
"Maybe I'll review Christmas Guy, maybe I won't."
