2:23 - 2:39 is probably some of the best live female vocals I've ever heard in my life. Absolutely sensational blend of power and pitching!
I really like this arrangement. The fact that the legendary Brian May is playing on it helps a lot as well.
I am ageing middle-aged man who rarely buys a ticket to see a band/artiste. I go to every one of Kerry's gigs because she has such a unique voice. One minute she's belting out a rock song, then next she's singing a beautiful ballad that requires softness and control. Wonderful artiste.

OMG!!! She sounds exactly as in the recording. That alone makes her a wonderful artist. When people in youtube say all singers are auto-tuned garbage, all I can tell them is...well, you tend to have those opinions when your taste of music is so poor that you only have about 5 singers on your PC, 3 of them being Nicky Minaj, Rihanna and Katy Perry.

I love the original version.. and I think this version is also awesome.
The original version is a powerful and moving version laced with lots of emotion. and this one added some spunk and grand rock and roll spin to it!

She has had the most amazing rolls, all because of the work SHE has done and how SHE trained her own ass off to be this amazing. Not to mention the amazing talent she was just born with. this version translates much better to video, like pretty much any song with transcendent guitars and excellent band arrangement. kerry has an insanely good voice and incredible stage presence, and brian may was in queen and that's all that needs to be said about his ability to deliver showmanship.
in contrast, i've never really seen a mind-blowing video of DG on stage. but seeing it live, in context, fills you with more emotion and elation than any video ever can.
I've probably watched this a hundred times (what can I say? I have no life) and it rocks just as much as the first time I saw it.

I saw Brian and Kerry yesterday live, and I have to say she is amazing. I will also admit, I am a little bit in love with Rufus Taylor...
I remember at the time thinking that I felt so sorry for every girl that has to go up on stage and have to sing that song after this performance has been released to the world. How can anyone ever follow that?
