usb-c monitors are usually designed to be set as secondary monitors only in windows, cause windows limitations, means the system usualy won't boot if there isn't an additional hdmi monitor. it's too bad cause usb-c monitors don't requires to be plugged to electricity and be easily portable because of power brick being unecessary.

@@annabrickstock so usb-c monitors are designed for laptops in general, it's a substitute to hdmi output.
I can say that I don't like it very much.
