damn I'm a sophomore right now and the schools garbage right now because it's all under construction and it's crowded everywhere .looked so cool back then
One of the first things I thought of when I heard about the modernization is that the kids going to Taft now would have to suffer through the construction but won't be able to enjoy the final result. That must really suck. I'm sorry that you're one of those kids. And yes, Taft was a special place to be in the 60's and 70's.
Love this! My mom (May she Rest In Peace) graduated from Taft in 1967 and I graduated in 2007. Great to see the contrast!!
I had Mr McCaffrey for Algebra. He had on his wall "Attitude is Everything" and that motto has gotten me through some tough times.
McCaffrey was a good guy.
If you gave him a funny look he would say "Don't give me that fish hook look!"
Classy school back then. Today it's GHETTO!! Just terrible to drive by and see the crap that goes to that school
Summer 64...remember al these...

Is William Finnegan who wrote Barbarian Days in any of these photos?
where on campus is the Vietnam plaque?
It's on the brick wall to the left of the entrance to A Building (Admin) from the Senior Quad side. It's still there.
@@TaftHigh74 thank you
