3 videos from Sorin in one day!
I think i`m in heaven.
Thank you Sir!
Hello Sir, I really appreciate the effort you put to teach electronics from basic to advance, I don't know about others but you ve been doing me a great favor. I don't know how to over thank you for that... You are really good, I have love for repairs but don't really know much. You've been an eye opener and a teacher... I would really appreciate if I can get to participate on live classes so that I can ask questions, there's so much I want to ask. Thanks very much
200K subscribers , congrats mate)
New channel idea sounds really interesting! Looking forward for it!
Cameras, cinematography, photography?? Count me in! Greatings from Greece!
Youre a Master Sorin! i always learn so much from you. Goodluck with your Cinematography channel.
Heck yes! I've been doing photography since the early '80's. I don't have the patience to do video. I can't stand waiting, but I would definitely subscribe!
Set up your new Chanel! I can't wait to see what you will bring!
You always do in a professional way keep it up sorin 👍
Hello, great to hear that I will subscribe defienietly, good luck Sorin
another happy customer .. Good work
3 video azi. Mai rar. Ma uit cu deosebita placere...
Those switch ports are always fun. Thanks for the video
very excited about the new chennal sir❤️
Sorin we love you all 👍👍👍. Good Job.
Sorin.. isn't it better to remove unleaded solder completely and reflow pins with leaded solder and then apply heat...
wanna say the same.
he talks at the beginning from "lazy repair"^^...
i guess he know it but he wont do that!!
he fix it but he was not far away from destroy the new port with the heat, that he use!
there is no need to do that in this case. I would probably do that just because my hotair station is less powerful and repair would be much easier to me (and chip) with leadfree solder. But as you can see he can do reflow in few seconds even with leadfree.
Other "bad" side of leadfree solder would not be seen in chip like this one, unlike BGA chips solder pads are big and there is no way they will crack and this chip have big contact with PCB with middle pad and can't really move with outside force (like when console fall down) cracking them.
@@gorjy9610 Sorin is a legend and orthodox in electronics repair...
Indeed this is no how to but how he does it. This are not really sorin jobs ( I guess)
greetings from Montenegro, I follow you every video
18:30 Sorin if I had the money I'd send you a present containing a heat resistant working mat, a universal pcb board holder (perhaps of omnivise or panavise variety), and some low melting-point solder. Sigh..... perhaps someday; love your videos and your spirit - keep up the good works.
We will follow Sorin. We will subscribe
I have a full sensor camera as well so I know what you mean. Can't wait for the new channel
The pirl is a very nicely made charger, separate channels.
Not cheap but well thought out.
looking forward to the new channel
Let's go to the new channels . Hope you open it soon.
More channels from Sorin? Yes do it I will follow You
I'm a 72 year old woman and love electronics and watching your videos.
Thank you!
I Like the way you ignore the regular people comments but answer to a 72 old person, that show respect. Hat down sorin.
@@tachidatumoto6016 shame on u fool
Friendly advice sorin to make life easier, solder with your iron the 2 side metal points to keep it in place then focus on the pins.
Hot air is just waste of time and risk to damage it.
Sorin using a proper, proper cooler. Better than anything on the market😂😂
Sorin is really treating us with all these videos in one day :D
Your idea of opening another channel is good one. Will follow you there also, please provide the link here.
Thank you Sorin.
Great vid! Do you also test the dock since the video also works through the usb-c port? More vids plz 😀
"Here these (tablets) mean nothing, but in other countries they mean something." Sorin you bad AF. Wishing you the best from DE
Good thing I had subtitles/closed captions
You should watch “Sam Kolder Creative Masterclass” course or “Fulltimefilmmaker” if you like video editing etc.
Hey Sorin, look forward to seeing your creations with your cinematography channel. You should take a look at a program called "Touchdesigner" , i think with your knowledge of circuits you could do some really creative stuff in it in addition to davinci resolve.
I am flabber guested ! Almost 99% videos I have see are raw uploads , including give me a sec, and you seems to be a advanced video editor hahahaa
Would you trust a edited video when its about repairing something? If you do, have a look for iphone processor replacement/reflow, there are hundreds of video, all fake. I didn't seen one real
Ah I really thought is was you’re (lazy) style, haha cool. I watch 2 other repair channels and have no reason to not beleave them. Sure the are fake one. You’re presentation is the best I have ever seen, if you really talk to me.
Hi Sorin Good Job....
Lowmeld Solder was very usefull!
Yeah a lot of videos today. So much to learn :)
*Hello, i have an S3 and S4 not working. But inside of these Smartphones are very importand Photos and Videos. Do you think its possible to get it work? I only need the Photos and Videos inside*

Busy day Sorin, hey!

Great videos...go on :)
thanks sir.
It is interesting to focus on old digital video cameras
Blackmagic 6k sensor is super 35 from what I remember.
Davinci Resolve editing tips is something I`m looking for.
I know you enjoyed that movie Chernobyl it’s 35 years ago today hope to see you soon
So, we can learn how to fix electronics and cook at the same time? I watched 10 seconds of Didi's channel and now I'm hungry. brb!
Sorin try film photography it's a great scape from technology 😉 developing , enlarging etc
i did, a lot, 16/9 but not anymore
Hi Sorin, just subscribing to your channel because trying to fix my old laptop.
Can you do a video on replacing lcd backlight to led, and another one replacing usb port.
Good idea, sorin👍
sorin: i love video editing
me : I can swear i can joke ...
great job
where did you get that power usb screwdriver from. what is the model and the name of it. thanks.
I also started my channel videos about TV repairs etc.
Sorin testing all the parts, cameras (ear)speakers screen touch button.
I always ask voor login code.
Did have customers they ask for fixing the screen and I did but al the rest was broken also they blame me for breaking it. What can I do replacing it or paying for another one. Some time the do it trying to get a working one for free. Now I test it all before I do something. Taking lot of time.but saving the money
Super super super super sar good job thanks
Looking forward for your new channel, sir! You are a good man! Like your vids, a litle bit dodgy at time (but it's functional, the things get back to life, thats the point), but i think you are allright! Keep up with that petrol and fifty amps! You must have a sticker in your desk, "man dodging at work, keep the distance" (i'm just kidding, just kidding, you are allright! Good job)
Top sorin
We will subscribe anyway
I would like to ask, when did you start repairing things and how long it took you to be professional like this ?
There is a fuse before this chip Sorin also.
Please upload more dead nintendo repairs, we need the knowledge and experience from you
Is there a reason for the small black mat its on?
hello, it is ok, when plastic on charging port is melt? Whats degrees of temperature do yuo use?
Yeah it's time to learn let's go 😊
Hi how to change a mac from unsupported to sports all version without patcher ??
Hello, you are the oposite of me, i'm a videographer and my hobby is electronics
What is the name of the new channel? What video editing software do you like to use?
ken wheeler has two things he dose and one is camera he knows a alot about cameras and photography he is on youtube look him up and find videos
If you test some caps around the charging chip you should find a short on some of them due to the faulty chip. (caps are ok eh)
Hi love your channel and repaired quite a few laptops thanks to your knowledge and shortcuts when you know how things work.
PROBLEM- i have a HP Presario C700 Laptop and the PW port only blinks blue once then OFF when you plug the 19V in. No other lights or fan twitch or anything. just a blue flash and i know from another laptop, this type of port has the blue power light on ALL the time on or off.
Already pulled it all apart and applied power direct to the M/B P+N 19V and NO current drawn and cpu ect cold. Cant find any shorts to ground but the power mosfets and voltage resistor have 19V and screen connector too so Super io on sort of? Is the flash, the S/I chip checking the m/b and reporting back error and not starting but power mosfets are on so dont know what to do from here. Power port is only 8000 ohms! that cant be right when it usually a hundred or more thousands ohms?. Bios chip next to super I/o has no volts on it.
Thanks for any help..
I have a short on the vddio pin for the m92, has anyone else troubleshot that net before? Im a little concerned about doing voltage injection to such a a sensitive net
Use a low melted solder, to remove easily the charging ports, especially for USB-C. Apply around the legs and the pins, hot air, and voila, the port is out.
Are you talking about 60 40 solder?

@@WayneSallee-comTech Low melt solder can be found in e-markets, e-bay, Amazon etc.
@@elesar74 It looks like you are talking about indium and indium alloys. Have you used any for desoldering? If so how well does it work, and have you run into any problems with it?

@@WayneSallee-comTech I shed information about to use a low melted solder, to avoid a furder damage on the motherboard, using high temperature for a longer time. You can shrink this time, using low melted solder. For desoldering different type with many "legs" or points, sockets, connectors, plugs, whatever. I don't know what is the chemical content of this type solder. It melt to low temperature, when you mix it with a normal solder, it decrease the melting temperature and you avoid the overheating of the board. Pay attention how long time in the above video, how long time the 500 C, hot air is applied to the motherboard.
Hi Sorin. How can I contact you for a repair?
Make a channel about drone flying :D
Do you mean how to find your missing drone lol
you need more cheese for your mouse, or maybe its just 3 in 1 oil for the microscope needed :)
I have mother bored for omen x17 laptop
GTX.1080 suddenly not working at all I replaced it and the second one did the same thing
Mr sorin how I can send you to repair I will pay kindly reply me urgent
I will be the first to subscribe to the new channel.
so u soldered the USB port the switch battery that was kinda risky battery could blow up due to the heat
I was thinking the same while I watched. In any case it is not recommended and should be avoided. Batteries don‘t like heat at all.
switch board dissipate that heat very fast, I'm not sure did you ever work on any but lets just say LARGE copper layers inside.
And with air pointed in other direction battery didn't see any heat.
Yes, he should maybe point out on beginning of every video that way he fix things are not something beginners should try to replicate but most of us watching this channel already have enough experience to know when he take a shortcut.
@@gorjy9610 That's OK, but it is still a bad example taking into account this is electronics repair school channel. Not so skillfull beginner can make an unnecessary damage.
@@asv5769 I agree but not so skilful beginner should not start learning curve with expensive and fragile device like switch :)
electronic repair school lenovo g50-30 turns on but no display
🐨 Those Ports a beast, Trick is to replace the solder pads with low melt solder on the inner pins on the board and also on the ports legs before marrying the port to the board. 😉 for the ground Legs it's important you use high temperature solder..
You're Welcome..
APU I dropped you a 👍
My main job is computer repair, and my second is videographer. And both is my hobbies...God send you to help me out and be better at both of my hobbies/jobs?
