- It's Chrono24's twentieth anniversary, and we're looking back at the best neo-vintage watches from 20(ish) years ago. Most people go after either mid-century watches or modern watches, but there are great deals out there on pieces from the late 1990s and early 2000s.

zenith daytona, massively underrated for the modern watch collectors and will be the most after(after the paul newman) in the future
Just seen the CR7 Shareholder news, fantastic achievement you guys have smashed it the last 5 years. Great content, great service. Congratulations 👏🏾 🎉
I saw a day date Royal Oak a few months ago, I nearly pulled the trigger. I've always been looking for a "birth year" watch. but honestly, if we look past the "hype" watches, the choices are so many.
That first AP dial looks like an angry old man!
My wife sees angry skeleton faces in a lot of chronographs 😂
True 😂
Bvlgari is very underrated. They used Frederic Piguet and Zenith movements in some of their neo-vintage stuff. Longines aswell, their L990 movement line is incredibly undervalued.
Absolutely. Those are two brands that certainly deserve more credit.
@@Chrono24Officialexcellent video. One of the best I’ve seen. No hype. All facts.
Neo-Vintage is where the treasures are.
Amazings watches, regards from Costa Rica.👍
Heuer is an absolute banger, really want one
Love those beach Daytonas.
More videos like this please!
Credor and Seiko also have incredible neo-vintage offerings. Stuff like the Seiko U.T.D. models and Credor Pheonix, Pacifique and Signo models.
Credor must be one of the best kept secrets in watches.
@@Chrono24Official100%. I picked up a new-old-stock Credor Signo with a HAQ movement for only 200 USD. Retailed for a whopping 1650 USD when new.
From the presented choices my three watch selection is Replica, Santos, Thunderbird with blue dial. Replica is no my radar for long time.
Love Chrono24 and already purchased in the app
Congrats! What did you get?
@@Chrono24Official a Seiko Samurai, Glycine Aquarius and a Citizen Fugu Asia Limited Edition ;-)
Love the Cartier my favorite
I use to own the 25572BA, the gold owl w.o moonphase. It was amazing and all my friends keep telling me i shouldve not sold it
Sorry to pile on, but you shouldn't have sold it 😂
Although a bit newer compared to this list, my favorite "neo-vintage" watch reference is the 2201.50 Planet Ocean from Omega
Solid choice - great design and super tough
The Cartier Santos SIHH edition ref 2319 doesn' t show on a search in Chrono 24!
There were only 2000 examples produced, so we usually only have a few at most, and those can get snatched up pretty quickly. If you're interested, I'd recommend setting up a "saved search" alert on the site so you know as soon as one comes to market.
The Omega Seamaster 2254.50 is a great pick too. I’m surprised it wasn’t on the list.
Only picking 10 means a lot of beauties were left out, and that's one of them!
That IWC is definitely on my list
That reference deserves a lot more attention
I would love to have seen some coverage on the vacheron 43031 and 43032 from the 1980s-2000s. Amazing value for money and direct competitor to the patek 3940 and AP QPs!
My only watch (casio doesn't count) right now is my Omega Speedmaster Schumacher 3518.50. Great size and beautiful racing dial from 2001
Those are some of the better Speedmaster LEs (in my opinion). The minute track on that one is super fun
Me watch this but know cant afford it:
Im collecting watches for nearly 20 years and today i can say that the best VFM quality watches made from Chinese brands like pagani design, steeldive, san martin etc...Try to buy a watch from these Companies, and see how much overpriced luxury brands sell their watches. It is amazing what watches you can get for only 50$-100$-200$ from China.Sorry for this post.
Let me add in the CK-2913, reissued version 😂 really bang for buck to own a vintage looking watch at a steal
Great watch, but the patina color may be just a bit too toasty for me
@Chrono24Official How about the Salmon Dial Tudor Prince Date. I was lucky enough to pick one up and there's none for sale anywhere in the world from what I can see 😀
Love it, and you're right, they're quite rare
Rest video, beautiful watches. Love your glasses, Thomas! May I be so bold as to ask what brand they are?
Thanks for watching, Stephen! They're cheap ones from Warby Parker, but they get the job done
@@Chrono24Official thank you very much.
Shh 🤫
Neo vintage is one to three years old.
Neovintage is 20+ years old. Vintage is 40+ years old. Antique is 100+ years old.
Are you pretending to be Harry Potter, or whats up with that atrocity on your nose?!
If you're going to be mean, at least be funny
@@Chrono24Official If you reply to a question, at least answer it.
@@Chrono24Officialwell said ☺️
And I think they look great on you 👍🏻
