[Verse 3] ExoStar lasers blaze long and bright, Cutting through darkness, splitting the night. On distant ground or up close near, It fights with fury, it knows no fear. A pulse of Martell, a flash of flame, The battlefield won’t forget its name. [Chorus 3] ER Lasers scorch the way, While Medium blasts make enemies sway. Though it wears a cloak of another’s design, The Rakshasa stands, fierce and fine. [Verse 4] Undeserved hate, a whispered lie, They call it weak, they let it die. But those who’ve faced its iron jaws, Know well the strength behind its flaws. For every miss, a dozen strikes, And in its heart, the battle spikes. [Chorus 4] The Rakshasa’s roar shakes the ground, A titan’s voice, a deadly sound. It may not wear the Mad Cat’s crown, But warriors know it won't back down.
OH HELL YEAH. the mech that marked my personal entrance into battletech back in the 90s. "prince of havoc" and the 10th lyran guard/1st kathil ulans artillery ripping apart the smoke jaguar mechs with lrms. been a lrm-mechpilot and enjoyed it ever since...
For an Inner Sphere mech at the time it was not bad. Also it was not great which was the problem. Fun song for a forgotten war machine that so many couldn't see past its flaws.

[Verse 1]
From the labs of New Avalon it rose,
An echo of war in steel and prose.
Engineers built it, a shadowed frame,
A beast of power, they gave it a name.
They looked to the stars, to the Clan-made king,
But in the Rakshasa, a new strength would sing.
[Chorus 1]
Born from the dream of a Mad Cat’s might,
A warrior stands in the fading light.
Not the same, but proud and fierce,
The Rakshasa roars, its claws will pierce.
[Verse 2]
GM 375 XL hums,
A beast that strikes when the battle drums.
Endo Steel bones and armor’s shield,
A titan forged for the battlefield.
Eleven tons of StarGuard strong,
With Artemis guiding the missiles' song.
[Chorus 2]
Federated launchers light the sky,
Ten-shot rains as the missiles fly.
The Mad Cat’s shadow it might chase,
But the Rakshasa carves its own space.
[Verse 3]
ExoStar lasers blaze long and bright,
Cutting through darkness, splitting the night.
On distant ground or up close near,
It fights with fury, it knows no fear.
A pulse of Martell, a flash of flame,
The battlefield won’t forget its name.
[Chorus 3]
ER Lasers scorch the way,
While Medium blasts make enemies sway.
Though it wears a cloak of another’s design,
The Rakshasa stands, fierce and fine.
[Verse 4]
Undeserved hate, a whispered lie,
They call it weak, they let it die.
But those who’ve faced its iron jaws,
Know well the strength behind its flaws.
For every miss, a dozen strikes,
And in its heart, the battle spikes.
[Chorus 4]
The Rakshasa’s roar shakes the ground,
A titan’s voice, a deadly sound.
It may not wear the Mad Cat’s crown,
But warriors know it won't back down.

I honestly like the Rakshasa it just has a certain charm to it for me
It's honestly a solid heavy. That RAC version is just nasty.
I take it just to harvest grognard tears it's hilarious
I believe that this is the nicest portrayal of the mech I have ever seen, also the first too.
Rakshasa: Brother do you still love me?
Thunderbolt: Be strong, Rakshasa. Be strong for the inner sphere!
Marauder: WTF? Rakshasa you know you are part of my family tree right?
@@shadewolf0075 Thunderbolt: It's ok, he is doing his best.
For an Inner Sphere mech at the time it was not bad. Also it was not great which was the problem. Fun song for a forgotten war machine that so many couldn't see past its flaws.
Honestly is the Rak came out in the 3040s it would be remembered as a very deadly Davion mech
Awww yea my Boi
Clan wolf looking at the rakshasa: What the fuck is this?
Inner sphere: Your mech, but still worse, apparently.
I wake up to find this as the first of my recommended, and already it is catchy. A perfect song for an underdog who still has potential.
...Had generally good results with the Rakshasa: it all comes down to proper use of the Mech's strengths.
Ah! The Rakshasa, proof that “fake it till You make it “ isn’t always applicable 🤦♂️ 🤣
I looked at the Rakshasa’s specs and it seems like a solid Mech for an inner sphere mech. Yes, I like it.
As a battlemech it was a good idea. Mostly. ;)
Damn, more i see, more i await my favorite (after Timber Wolf i mean, yeah, i am basic bitch) boy, Huntsman
Mom, I want a MADCAT, MOM: we have a MADCAT at home. The MADCAT at home.
