Hi GN! Vevor sent me the GD90E dent puller, and I can’t see to read the manual, so I’m watching your vids for setup instructions. I’ll tell everyone I got the 411 from Garage Noise😉😉
Awesome! Thank's brother! I think you'll like it!
Pro tip, pull your dent from outside in, it it'll take you way less pulls than doing it centre of damage out like you were. P.s. the magnetic ground is a nice touch, good idea👍
👍
If you pulled outside in. Wouldn’t you be making the low spot lower?
This is hilarious. Before watching this video I too bought one of these to repair a dent in my white Chevy pick up. Glad to know I’ll be able to get the job done with this thing. Good tip on the magnetic ground!
It's been working great for the past year. Hope this works well for you! Thank's for the comment and support!
I bought g90e and it arrived just in time to try on my next job! But it's no match for a 1973 C20 tailgate! 😂😂😂. I had to cut some tabs and weld them to the tailgate for my magna clamp to attach to. Keep up the videos. Very motivational for me! Ty
Thanks brother! Appreciate the support!
How did you build your magnetic ground
I have the same welder but need to know how to build the magnetic ground
Just bought one off Amazon this is the one I use know has held up well. Two other didn't last.
amzn.to/3OPJSjH
The crowns need to be tapped down while using the dent puller to get a straight body panel
Yes sir
Yes and for the creaces the weld on washers are the trick. What he is doing is for final touch up, not pulling the bulk of the dent. He will get it in time.
They have something called a UNISPOTTER which I think is similar to this. I am looking for the one that welds 2 peices together too. With a vixon file you could metal finish that in a few more seconds.
Snap-On sells thiers for $1,600 plus dollars. With little to no accessories. Check it out for yourself on the snap-on store website.
Pulling that bedside , if you started pulling with the body line after knocking the crowns down your repair will come out a lot cleaner ,
Awesome 🤩 thanks for all the great videos man. Much appreciated
Thanks!
Thank's brother appreciate it!
If I did lots of body work that would be a great tool to have.
I have the same machine it works good I'll make an attachment so I can use stud pins I work in a body shop I think the machine will last if it's a personal thing but if you let everybody use it I don't think it'll last long
It's not perfect but it gets the job done and saves alot of time. Appreciate the comment and support!
Do I need to disconnect the car battery when I use this tool? Planning to use it on a rear quarter damage
I do just incase
I bought one today and like to see how the rest of the attachments work
There some more videos coming on this machine. I have a video on the wiggle wire. I'll be doing a thorough demo on it probably in January. Appreciate the support.
@@GarageNoise yeah I watch about a hour on it blending base. Like how you go into details but I use straight reducer to blend cc.
@@terryhall5811 yeah, for blending clearcoat I do too. I just don't really blend clear if I can help it. Appreciate the support brother!
@@GarageNoise I use to know alot of skills in this, but after years having ptsd I tend to forget and have to start all over. Thanks for the tips.
@@GarageNoise have you use transtar 6363 edge blender. How does it work
Mine didn’t come with that adapter to hold the welding triangle on at the end , it only has one to insert into the gun not the slide hammer , any idea where I can find one ?
Man no idea, have reached out to the seller?
Can you tell me please. Iam wanting to buy one of these?? What's the best a G90 E or a stud puller yellow stud gun > Thanks
I had a stud gun but it was so heavy and hard to handle . Then you need to put a slide hammer to pull the dent. The g90 e is much quicker and simpler weld and pull. I like the g90e much better appreciate the support!
@@GarageNoise Thanks for that...from NZ
Hi I just got this welder, but I don't have that caing outlet. Can you tell me were to buy one, please
What do you need?
Has anyone had issue with their dent puller not sticking to metal?
Yes, Mines held up well over 2years.
I have a problem when I stud weld with the wiggle metal on my bump but it keeps falling off when I pull any advise I have my vevor machine on 4 H
A few things I've noticed that might help. When I first started using it I wanted to press it firm to the metal but found that lightly touching the metal gets a better weld. You might also try increasing the heat setting . Also make sure the metal is clean. Hope this helps!
Vs other stud welders ive used, i wish it had a little stronger weld with the tips
Yes, it's not the perfect tool. More your finish repair.
good video my guy!
Thanks brother!
Can you show us how you modified the ground? I have the same machine and would much rather prefer a magnetic option as well.
Yes it's much better, the ground I used just bolts on. You can find the link in my storefront under welders. Thanks for watching!
Very nice but I want to ask can you do welding with this machine?
No, sorry
Can you set a fixed weld time with this tool, in the same way you can set the power? Or do you have to manually release the trigger for it to stop welding?
You manually pull and release the trigger.
@@GarageNoise Thanks for the reply! I found a slightly more expensive unit also by the same brand that has a 0-9 weld timer setting. I might go for that one. Thanks again.
@@SamToshi I've seen that one May be getting it soon.
You can always double or triple press the trigger to get more fusion time!
Do you need diconnect ECU?
No I disconnect the battery tho
how's this on older classic car metal
It works great. No problem with thicker metal.
Where can i purchase the magnetic ground? thanks
This is the new one I recently purchased it's working great so far
amzn.to/4cpg73N
I have a 65 GMC truck has some dents that need fixed. I also need to put a oof skin on.Can this machine spot weld panels on too?
No it cannot, pulling dent shrinking metal but no welding.
Thank you great video though.Do you know if they make one that can spot weld too?
Hey Chris so I’m like 10 mins away from clicking buy now for this thing but I’m reading reviews and I’m seeing there seems to be a problem with the connector ?..people are saying it’s a 220v so they had to cut off the plug and put a proper plug and cable for the amps?..did you encounter this?..thanks bud
Mine is a 120v I have had no problems at all. I did change the ground to a magnetic ground. That was my preference tho.
You can use that old grown to tak sheet metal together
Good idea
It’s definitely a pain in the ass the mount it comes with .
Where did you get your replacement mount ?
Amazon but the ones I've been getting don't hold up well. Need a new one now.
Cool tool. Is that 120v
Yes, it is.
thanks man!
How do you use the shrinking tool? Do u have a video or link for g90e
I don't have a video on using the shrinking tool . I haven't really used the shrinking tip but i did use the shrink setting with the pulling tip for some small spots and it work well. Here's the link appreciate the support!
amzn.to/3Q50McB
Where did you get the magnetic ground at? Did it change over easily?
Amazon easy to install
Do you need to disconnect the battery terminal
Yes, any time you work with a welder.
How did you make magnet for ground?
I purchased one from Amazon you can find my storefront link in the description of all my video's . There you will find a link. Thank's for the support!
Thank you! How do you get to the link?
@@markluna8028Here's the link to the one I use.
amzn.to/3t74vO8
What voltage is the machine?
120v they also make a 220 version. Appreciate the comment and support!
I wanna buy one 120
Thanks 👍🏻
Welcome 👍
How much price
Would that be to powerful for my 65 vw bug which is mainly 1/4 metal on the whole car?
I think it would work well, I've used it on thin and thick metal.
@@GarageNoise appreciate it.
Sold do you still use your uni spot aswell or does this take its place
I still have the uni spotter, but this has taken the place of it . just so much easier to use.
@@GarageNoise thanks for the quick reply Iv got a uni but this looks much quicker and more easily fine tuned pulls!
what size is the magnetic mount? Need to replace mine too.
Here's s link amzn.to/3g7NcF1
U mentioned trading out the ground for a magnetic one, is that a separate purchase for the g90? If so can u send me that link. Or will it come with the g90 unit? Ty. Ur channel and store is helpful.
Separate this is the one i use . It works well.
amzn.to/3MxPRqz
Where do did you buy the magnet ground??
Amazon it mat be in my storefront link in the description
Is that welder still working? there’s been a lot of complaints that’s it’s stoped working on people?
It is so far, I use it pretty often.
Hey how are you?
I can use This machine with 220V??
🆗
This is 120v but they make a 220v version.
@garage noise I picked one of these up from Amazon and I'm having trouble getting any attachment to stick. I've got 60 grit on the angle grinder then cleaned up with 80 on the DA. Does it need to be more coarse and not smooth or something? Nothing is sticking! 😶
Check your ground on your dent puller make sure it’s on bare metal
Couple things to try. Your ground should be relatively close to where your welding if possible, also play with heat adjustment. I've found if you lightly touch the metal when welding it welds better.
@@GarageNoise That ground is driving me crazy! If you have any recommendations where you got that magnet would be awesome. I'll scuff it up some more and give these things a try but I couldn't get the wiggle wire or the arrowhead plunger to do much more than a few pulls before it falls off.. 😕
@@MarioGarcia-xt3jo for sure and thanks!
@@kseries20-24only this is the one I use amzn.to/3D7ADEu
5:15 the coppers r coming bro , hurry up
I probly did it.
Good
Some know if can I use it with 220V??
No its 120-Volt
Look on eBay. They have this machine with 220v. With welding machines, 220V is better.
@@floridaroadracerguy
Hey
Do u try 220v
I’m looking to buy it
If u have the link please
They have it in 220v on Amazon
Dude, so bummed out. Mine doesn't work. So frustrating
Right out of the box? You got a bad one?I I hate to here that.
@@GarageNoise the worst part, I bought it about 10 months ago. I'm.just now using it. I'm making sure the ground is as good as I can get it but the tack is barely biting. It just comes off. I'm watching all these videos and you guys have a super strong pull. Ugh, I hate it. I'll see what I can do to return it.
How much they machine cost?
About 350.00
Garage Noise, The wiggle wire & washer shaped pullers with the point on them, can they be reused or are they one and done?? Does the triangle tip for the general pulling hammer last awhile or does it need replaced frequently? Thanks for the video, its really helped me decide to get one of these tools.
The triangle tip last lond time not sure about the wiggle wire and washer i haven't used them yet but I assuming they last awhile as well. Thanks for the comment happy it helped.
@@frogmanvc
You are right. The tabs, lined up in a row, will pull most of the dent out in one single pull on this type dent! The slide hammer is really best on final touches for that perfect smooth surface. Of course a skim coat of body filler will insure a glass finish when properly done. He will get it in time and then he will really love this machine!!!! I enjoyed the video.
我也是刚买的
好用嗎?
👍
@@GarageNoise 很好用,但是电压不稳定,不是正牌的
Expensive guide cost sem ain't cheap

Too bad i couldn't rent one..
👍
Why not just put glass on those small dents lol
You could but my goal is to use as little filler as possible. Appreciate the comment and support!
Haha that's a large dent lol
Ordered one last week , got it today and yeah not a lot of instruction Thanks for the video I hope mine works as well as yours and lasts @ rtbkustoms
