I was recently diagnosed with occipital neuralgia… it has manifested in me, severe anxiety and panic disorder. Idk how this came about as, thankfully, I was not in any kind of accident or bad fall. Doctors just say try PT. I’m currently trying massage therapy (by an actual masseuse bc idk what I’m doing) and acupuncture. Thank you for shedding light on this topic and we hope to see more from you on our healing journey 🙏🏼

I had severe panic and anxiety as well. Honestly, anxiety and depression have been lifelong complaints of mine. Then my symptoms turned physical. My anxiety and depression are now well controlled! Massage is excellent for easing anxiety. So is acupuncture. I hope you are able to achieve relief with your therapies!! Are you also doing the curalistic program?

I'm doing a Pressure Point Therapy and He's managed to get my Head reshaped, it has helped, but this thing is insane. IT seems to have a will of it's own, I have to go 3 time's a week but I just started the therapy about 6 weeks ago, it's working but it's a slow process. Best of luck in getting your's under control.

Oh my Lord, this video just popped up. I've searched for the cause of my years of neck and scalp tenderness that travels up back of scalp, over head, and stabs my right eye, triggers migraines several times a week. I've described this neck and scalp pain as like a "tazer" to doctors, and they all just stare blankly at me with no thoughts. Botox injections in my low skull, up over scalp were done for three month trials and they didnt fix problem, so I was told I failed that treatment.
Can't find a comfortable position for sleeping. I can't be still or it begins the aching, burning that travels up over scalp, over crown and into right eye again.
SO happy to have found your channel! Thank you!!! ❤🙏

Inflammation is part of the cause of Occipital Neuralgia. I suffered with this for the first time about a month ago. The pain was terrible 😅. I went to my chiropractor who verified my findings. He massaged my neck and did some cracking on my back, which helped. I also went for a deep tissue massage on my neck and shoulder area, and you used Excedrin pain reliever so i could get back to work.
I was able to wean myself off the Excedrin after 5 days. I watched my diet for any foods that caused inflammation.
Also, hot and cold packs alternating on my neck and shoulders helped. I did stretching and toning exercises and still do.
After about 7 days, I can say that I have not had another attack 😅.
Phone usage while looking downward is a no no. Also long usage as it affects the nerves 😅
I also had a very stressful situation going on at work, which I believe was pivotal in my experience with this.
I plan to do all i can going forward to never feel that pain again. I pray the same for each of you 🙏🏽

I have been suffering with ON for twenty years. I lost my career. I experienced cognitive decline. For about ten of those years I averaged less than two hours of sleep a night and became afraid to lie down. I engaged in suicidal ideation and I began taking ridiculous risks in the mountains that sometimes resulted in further injuries because I realized the pain of a broken bone distracted me from the pain in my neck and head (as well as the emotional pain and depression I have struggled with). I have tried a lot of therapies. Cranio-sacral therapy saved my life but when I retired and moved back to Japan--where my wife and I met thirty years ago--I lost that therapist and her maintenance. I have not found anybody here who can do what she did to relieve my pain. And in the four years since that move my ON episodes have become progressively more frequent and more severe. I refuse all pharmaceutical and surgical interventions because I know what they lead to. I am an active mountain and endurance athlete and when I am not in a severe episode, I can still perform at a high level even at age 65. But when it's going off, it is completely debilitating. All I can do is lie flat on a hardwood floor and try not to move while I cry for hours. Eventually it does recede but it comes back in an instant like a bolt of lightning in my head. I just found your video and will take a look at your videos. Thank you for putting this out. I am so grateful to hear your story because for decades I have felt so alone with very few people who understood the pain that I live with.

Like you, I have had this pain for atleast 30 years now. Throughout all that time, I had seen a small army of different doctors. All of them diagnosed me incorrectly with migraines.
(I always asked for a copy of my records whenever I went for treatment. With all those doctors, it's interesting that not one of them had the same type of migraine listed! The billing codes were all different. And the doctors never listened to me.)
Anyway, after numerous visits to the ER, CT & MRI scans, about 4 years ago, just Googling updated treatments for "migraines," I came across "Occipital Neuritis," & I struck gold. That was me!
Just to finally have a correct diagnosis is EVERYTHING!
And strangely enough, a few weeks after that, another Google search got me my relief and it may help you.
Nobody has tried this or even mentions this but there is a horse linimint called "Draw It Out." It's a clear watery gel, odorless and had over 100K 5 star ratings from previous customers.
Of course, this is a veterinarian formula for race horses. Who wants to spend 1000s of $$$ buying a horse and letting them suffer with sore muscles? So vets came up with this solution you rub onto the skin or hide of the horse and horse owners were raving about how great their horse felt. Some owners said that they used it for their sore hands and other parts and loved it.
I bought some. I rub it into my scalp wherever it's sore, give it about 15 minutes, and your head, neck and back pain will go away! Sore hands, too!
You might want to Google it for yourself and check it out. It's so popular with humans using it on ourselves that this same company came out with a formula for humans.
      I wish you well.😊

One week is very early in! My recovery took a solid 14 months to achieve. You will experience new, old, and changing symptoms. This is all a part of the process. Pease refer to the curalistic audio book for complete treatment instructions. I highly recommend working with a licensed massage therapist so that you can ask questions and get familiar with massage. My neck used to crack and pop a lot! I noticed that it was cracking a bit like it was adjusting. I no longer perceive bothersome audible neck sounds.

Look into the McGill big three exercises for spinal stability. I have a cervical spine exercise guide posted in my Facebook recovery group. I am gradually getting worse with this. I find that eating also make my OR worse. My Dr. just said 'take tylenos 3'. And I am allergic to codeine....which he was supposed to know from my chart. I am about to give up ever feeling well again. I have also had swelling in my face, expecially my eyes. I don't know why that would be.

Yes, you heard correctly. Eagle syndrome is an uncommon condition commonly characterized but not limited to sudden, sharp nerve-like pain in the jaw bone and joint, back of the throat, and base of the tongue, triggered by swallowing, moving the jaw, or turning the neck. More info online.

    • @ramsinbabakhan3629
      @ramsinbabakhan3629 5 місяців тому

@williams5618 i honestly haven't man. doing neck exercises for physical therapy at home using 2 specific youtube channels helped me manage the terrible vertigo and neck pain, but it took a month or 2 of me doing them daily 2x a day. the 24/7 headaches seemed to disappear for the most part on their own after months. im still suffering from the weird vision, occasional nausea, erratically high heart rate/blood pressure, stiffness and some pain in the neck with the pain running all the way down the back of my legs. bare in mind my neuralgia is caused by a subluxated atlas(C1/C2 vertebrae instability or also known as atlantoaxial instability.) the only 2 real solutions i've read that have helped ppl are a Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractor, i saw one today got some xrays done and he will let me know on friday if this is something he can help me with. the other option is a prolotherapy clinic that has offices in chicago/florida. most dr's say there is 0 proof prolotherapy works but ive read a lot of positive success stories from people who were stuck like you and i who now have regained their life back.

I did self massage with the Curalistic program, saw a licensed massage therapist for deep tissue massage, worked with a DPT for integrative dry needling, and also did appointments with several other bodyworkers including coaching the body and orthobionomy. My recovery took more than a year. I still do bodywork to control my symptoms and take care of my body.
