I think they did do a tribute to him with Satori, the Lord of the Mountain. Satori does sound a lot like Satoru after all. And another fun fact, there’s an npc in Zelda that looks a lot like Robin Williams. I think that’s supposed to be another tribute.
0:36 - kakaroki village theme 1:43 - Duruk’s theme 2:51 - Mipha’s theme 4:12 - Urbossa’s theme 5:26 - Revali’s theme 6:45 - Main theme What’s your favourite? Mine is the main theme but If I had to choose between all of the divine beasts I will choose maybe Revali’s theme.
At first I thought it played in the order the player beat the Divine Beasts in (I beat Rudania first) but then I realized if that was the case Urbosas Theme would be last for me
Watching this ending made me cry. It's such an amazing and wonderful game, so much so that I play it over and over again just to remind myself how perfect it is. In my opinion, it's the greatest LoZ game ever created.
"Satoru" Please listen to me Remember the console you thought and worked on even when sick? When the Wii U failed. They blamed you for it right? Forget it. Forget it all. The Nintendo NX has become a succes and is now known as the Nintendo Switch. We will never forget what you did to so many of us. You've touched so many hearts and childhoods. Even now you have been able to give so much happiness. We love you so much. You can rest now ... (just so you know I'm crying while writing this) This is what i would say if i get to have a single chat. And tell him his work is so appreciated. I had made this comment yesterday but wanted to make it a bit different. Like *DIRECTLY* talking to a friend.
i was quite late to this game, playing and finishing it just 4 months before tears of the kingdom released. but man am i glad i did cuz i’m a huge fan of this series now
I hadn't played a Zelda game since the gameboy version. My friend let me borrow his botw game. I teared up hearing that theme instantly thinking of the 8-bit adventure.
It kind of sucks that the visuals are just still images for this game and for Wind Waker. It could have been something truly memorable. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds all had beautiful final scenes for the story during their staff rolls.
For those of you who came only to see if Iwata is on the list... so you don't have to watch everything: yes he is. Rest In Peace mr Iwata, we will miss you
What does all memories do? I have done everything in the game including memories and got the after credits scene. Dont tell me finding those 900 golden shits didnt help...
2019 I played the game the third time (not 100%) and finished at 3th of March it was a coincidence and its 2 years ago looking back makes me feel sad and happy
@@SamuelLopez-ci6bf I'm so sorry you don't know. It's a shame really. He'll forever be remembered as Nintendo's best CEO every. Maybe best of all. He was a legend. Created my childhood. I'm already crying again ... And in the credits it says Iwata at the end. Indicating even when he died a year ago. He still worked on the game. I would look up a video made by "Arlo" Called: Remembering Iwata. It's a good video and who knows you even cry. I did for sure.
@@Hugz4All16 not the kinda song you should play in the credits imo. It should be something thats more nostalgia inducing and makes you remember the journey. Which this music isn't for me. Atleast this version of kakariko village.
Yeah and if they did how would we know? You gotta understand Iwata was different. Doesn't seem like you respect one of the best humans know to life. He created my childhood. So many memories. I wish he were here so I could *directly* tell him that it would be okay. His plan of the switch worked.
Man, I'm sorry but I was really disappointed with these credits compared to past games. Almost all past 3D Zelda's had such epic credit sequences with their own unique medley and cut-scenes scaling the over world. This just takes screen shots and inserts pre existing music awkwardly. I guess they finished all the story with the cutscenes already, but just imagine how nice it would have been showing scaling shots of the huge over world and a medley that properly blends all this music together. The way it is really is not fitting for such an great, adventurous game.
Most of them are just medleys of many themes throughout the game. That’s not exactly that mind-blowing. There was a time when they actually had original melodies and didn’t just quote themes throughout the game. I don’t know what you’re disappointed about, your “ideal” credits sequences from the older games was also shit.
@@PianistTanooki Every 3D game before this had cutscenes that worked as an epilogue in the credits and cool cinematic shots of the areas in the game. This doesn't hold a candle to Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess's credits. It's such a shame when this game is significantly grander in terms of scale, it feels so out of place.
I’m sorry Totk (Botw haters for some reason) fans, but I still prefer Botw music over Totk music. They both have excellent scores, but I feel that Botw gave the audience more of a connection to Hyrule and its story in a more emotional and meaningful way
Looking back at this now I like how they made the totk credits in pretty much the exact same way sonically and stylistically in true sequel fashion. Even with the master sword at the end. The only notable change is how botw uses the opening theme after the four champion's themes instead of at the beginning bc it didn't have a fifth 'dungeon'.
I'm touched that people in the comments are searching for Iwata's name. Nintendo fans are awesome man.
RIP Iwata, you are the real hero of Hyrule...and all of Nintendo for that matter!
Iwata would be proud of this masterpiece...
Rest In Peace Iwata
First game I've ever played where I just sat in awe and watched the credits. Sensational game - a masterpiece
Look at Super Mario Galaxy’s, it’s just as good.
:’) the memorials that game brings to me when I watch the credits
I beat Ganon with 7 hearts I only had 7 hearts because I got the 4 divine beasts in this order elephant, lizard, camal, bird
Look up a video of Ocarina of Times credits. Probably my favorite credits in any game ever.
me too
Yo listening to Mipha's theme is so sad. I think of Sidon as a kid realising that her sister is dead. Bro Im about to cry
im glad ppl here are actually looking if iwata is on the list....i miss him even though ive never met him in person...cries
arvin cruz every time I finish a game it still gets me, not once have I not cried when I've seen his name in the credits since that day
arvin cruz / Him and Nintendo made the best game ever.
Shoutout to the “landscape modelling” team, I spent more than 200 hours exploring your work, well done
what minute do they appear
I literally started sobbing when I first beat ganon and this started playing
Me too!!
SAME i was shaking and crying lmao i love this game
This game fits in two eras, From the end of the wii u era to the beginning of the nintendo switch era. RIP Satoru Iwata and The Wii U.
I know he's the last one on the credits, but I'm suprised it didn't have a, "In memory of Satoru Iwata"
BestTorbjorn NA maybe this isn't the last game he worked on. Maybe Odyssey will have a in memory of or they may just not do one.
Starfox Zero had a tribute to him, so I don't think they'll be doing another.

I just recently started Master Mode, and when i walked right in to Kakariko Village again, man, the theme hit different, also R.I.P Satoru Iwata
I wished the end credits were more cinematic like before.
@Annabelle Root me too! First time I EVER skipped Zelda credits. I felt so disappointed. But I still LOVE the game to death.
@@richardhambel648 I didn’t skip them just because of how good the music in the credits is but yeah I agree

Cheers mate
My sister made me skip the credits so im here now
they put iwata at the end
my heart can't take it
They always put their presidents at the end, crediting them as “Executive Producer”
I like how all the tribes in Zelda are like different species and hybrids altogether, and the Gerudo are basically just Egyptian
no they are gerudo...
I am an Egyptian and i would like to say that they are Persians.
Just look at their clothes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When I first watched the credits after beating the game I had a few tears come out
greatest game of all time ... i cried when i beat it dude. but when i saw botw2 was coming im so blissful

Gerudo theme song and the main ost of botw really gave me goosebumps
Several hundred hours into the game, after clearing all the shrines and quests, I have finally defeated Ganon. Time to buy the DLC 😁
Nice work!
how about tears of the kingdom
When you get all the memories but still don't get the ending because you have to turn it in (•?•)

Do you know the name?
Angel Alas It’s Daruk’s theme
It's so beautiful right?
I love Daruk's theme!
This music is beautiful
No mention of the performing musicians? While their work is literally playing in the background?
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: SATORU IWATA
Is there an official version for the main theme on piano?
7:13 i like it how they didnt know how to spell ENIGMAX so they put a guestion mark after it like "ENIGMAX? is that how you spell it?"
