Shri Mariamman is south indian form of Kali devi, she is worshipped in the form of Neem tree mostly, in my yard I have 3 neem tree and 1 benyan tree, I use to keep fast on Tuesdays to worship her with lemon deepam ( lamp) also I do regular Abhishek to neem tree with cow milk most of the time and on some occasions with Red-sandalwood water. And I also worship Sun God Surya under her tree. I saw her in the form of green light coming out of Neem tree. According to me she din exist in physical form, she is in the form of green light only. But she is able to save her devotees if they worship her regularly and properly with whole devotion then.
