- FINALLY! My Audi R8 gets the all important Morel Car Audio upgrade! An amazing collaboration between John Kleis Audio and Morel to bring my Audi R8 into the 21st Century.
This was also the hardest video to film. No video camera will do the quality of this system justice. Massive thank you to Morel UK and John Kleis for the incredible support to make this video possible!

We really enjoyed this project despite it being a 3 week absolute grind for one of our installers, Simon. He lived & breathed this job the entire time it was in!

This install looks fantastic, high quality components with a focus on sound quality not flashy grills etc. love the attention to detail from the installers, I bet the difference is easily noticeable.
More videos like this please, not vinyl wraps and big exhausts...
R8 content.....we need more, Paul!!! You installing a mega sound system is a good indication youre keeping that gem of a car long term!!!! Lets go!!!
I totally agree that ICE is a huge part of enjoying the whole driving experience but this car is old now, hence the entertainment system is old, especially the speakers. So for this ‘expert’ to keep slagging it off and comparing it to modern stuff is utterly ridiculous. Plus, in such an ‘expert’ fit, who the hell puts a switch there?!?! On the front corner of the drivers seat?? How long before you catch it with your foot and snap it off, I mean the bloke nearly did it when he was demonstrating it. And that massive sub right next to your head? Nah not cool and probably devalued the car a bit
After watching a few of this car audio companies videos its clear that speakers have not improved in modern cars either. They've got a video on a 2020 911 992, Bentley Bentayga & a BMW M2 with the Harman Kardon 'upgrade' & the speakers look no different to the ones in this video! it's all mass produced rubbish across all brands it looks like.

The R8 hasn't been featured on the channel for so long that i forgot you still had it.
now you should install a better Head Unit with Apple Car Play :D
I love this. I have B&O in my a4 soon to get a new car but this is so interesting. I understood the low quality of materials of the stock speakers but those new ones wow something im going to want to do someday

Good for you, looks awesome. I would say that the B&O system in my DB11 is superb, but it’s a lot newer than your R8, I am sure that your new system sounds great,
Yeah so I have the R8 V8 2008 with the B&O and the 2017 R8 B&O is WAAYYYYY better, its a huge difference!
That V10 sound can't get boring
A lot of the older cars will have the problem of having Bluetooth

My compact disc and fm radio is still perfectly adequate in my 19 year old mondeo🙂

Does it come with a stereo? I have had my V10 for about 3 years now - can’t say I ever listen to the sound system - just open the window and listen to that engine!!!

Theres a joke between all the car youtube boys shmee150, mr jww, seen through glass, archie hamiltin, tge tv, joe achilles all them paul is known for being that guy who goes too far with exhausts, spoils ruins wrecks all his cars with crazy loud and shouty and drony exhaust systems. Hes known as that guy who always makes a installing an exhaust video

It’s impossible to appreciate a decent music system when footage is recorded on a mic and then played out your phone on the other end E.t.c. Need to hear it in the flesh to truly appreciate it.
Is this car valuable?
Modern classic. Yes it is.
Problem with this is,I suspect it’s really expensive and your never gonna get that money back, I no cars are money pits, but I think I’d rather improve the look of a car then upgrade speakers,
Each to their own, Everyone has different priorities!
The main problem is the exhaust, seems like it made the speaker upgrade a complete waste of time.
Not much point showing all of that and not putting up a price of the work

I mainly now watch normal youtubers I don’t watch car content that much.
