    Thank you for this! I just got out of my apprenticeship and bought my first machine (it’s a pen/wireless machine) and my mentor only had worked with a Kubin rotary, so I had no clue how to set up my new machine or zone. This helped me understand it while keeping cross contamination in mind! Very well done!!!! New subscriber achieved!

    I really liked this way of wrapping since I’ve been using ceran wrap and tape and this way seems more easier without leaving tape residue 👌

    Try that blue barrier protective film strech to the grip until it comes one body and u will see whats the better protection because the film sticks and protect so well

    In the bio or description you should write down all the tools and equipment you need as well because some people cant make out your accent. Just a little advice for future videos.

    I'm a coil man or if I feel like rotary I have a bishop V6 both clip cord, so I take a sandwich bag and snip off one corner and place the machine inside, then the grip through the cut corner and wrap the grip the same way you did here the thing I am guilty of is neglecting the clip cord sleeve

    Maybe I missed it but what was the purpose for the paper towel? Wouldn’t you just be able to use the medical wrap?

    • @dravenheart2444
      @dravenheart2444  Рік тому +4

      I just use it to make the grip bigger and more comfortable. Basically a cheap alternative to wasting heaps of medical wrap or buying foam grips :)

  • @scythianman
    @scythianman 8 місяців тому +3

    You must have dome size of hand. As I say that's far too much of the grip wrap!. Just my thoughts.

    • @dravenheart2444
      @dravenheart2444  8 місяців тому +1

      Haha nah it’s just what’s comfortable for me it can vary with every person. I do lots of big day sits with realsim and or dots so I need the extra cushioning or my fingers end up hurting a lot. It’s all about preference try it out and see what works best for you 🙏

    My tattoo needle wobbles and I can't fix it. In traditional machine I would use rubber bands any mod jn this ?

    • @richardsalazar9738
      @richardsalazar9738 Рік тому

      Are these cartridges that are wobbling? If so what brand are you using?

    • @dravenheart2444
      @dravenheart2444  Рік тому

      Are you using the right size tubes for the needle ? As there all different sizes that could be a factor . Say if it’s a round 9 liner you need a tube for a round 9 liner. Also maybe try and put a slight bend in the needle in the middle so it sits flush against the tube and maybe a tighter rubber band. Hope that helps :)

    I have the same Sol Nova unlimited 3.5, is it possible to do a beautiful line with this? Mine are crispy, I tried many voltages and hand speed but no way :(

    • @dravenheart2444
      @dravenheart2444  Рік тому +1

      Nope it’s a terrible machine to line with. Probably the worst machine I’ve used for lining but it does shade smooth. Even packing black with this machine is a stretch. I’d recommend a 4mm stroke or higher for lining anything. Especially using cartridges the membrane system creates a fair bit of resistance for a machine with a 3.5 stroke to pull a good line

      That’s the easy part. This was about setting up ya machine so it’s safe and prevents cross contamination. Cartridges are pretty straight forward pop them in and twist. Then do the opposite to take them out.

    Hello tattoo Artist! I have bought a tattoo machine from dragonhawk (mast ancher) and it has a metalic disposible grip. Is it super necessary to buy autoclave or Dry heat machine, or is it posible to cleat it and wrap it properly with out getting in to trouble?
