With the wheels i would of went for the deep dish widened chromies thede wheels look so cool on those older holdens and i remember seeing them alot in the days when u hotted up your holden in the 70s 80s and they were available at your local holden dealer. One thing to mention is did the anti pollution gear from the doner car for that engine go into the ht ive heard of people doing later model engine swaps and thinking they dont have to carry over the omissions gear but u must have the omission on the car that came with that engine and comply to the donor cars omission standards. Great job guys keep those old holdens alive they were built for our country and cars will never be made like they used to ,keep the u tube how toos coming in it is very educative.
This sounds good. 👍👍 Great to mention the boys at Brown’s Spring Works. Established in 1908 I think 💭 saw a picture on their wall. They built my custom springs for my front end conversion. Celica to Corolla then; later also set me up and made my mini-coils to suit my car. They know their stuff!!!
I thought high pressure fuel lines in the cabin were a no go. I did mine with a weld on sump and external pump. Would be a shitload easier your way. Really enjoying the series. Some great little tips.
Video's are so great, doing the same converson in my HK wagon. Doing it all wrong by using parts from everywhere, rod shop 9" and rodtech ifs etc but it's all fun. Very helpful
Guy's, everyone can tell you're LS peeps, but can you do a showcase video on your 2JZ Full T56 kit, bellhousing and all....It's one of the best if not the best out there for the Tremec stuff, but all it is is LS this LS that....Don't get me wrong here, I like the LS too, but as a Owner of LS, 2J and Barra, would be nice to see the 2J/T56 kit get some love.....Cheers!
Have you got the part number for that fuel pump? I used a vz pump and it sits too short of my tank which is in the same location as yours is. Doing a killer job boys 🤙
Good to see NO power tools EFN screw threads , heads and so on . Your hands are working well with ya head good to see good content hope it drums . Well done
I once had a fuel tank welded in Perth back in 1999 and it was leaking from the seam It was an italian car long story short I took it to a radiator repair joint they washed it about 10 times they could still smell fuel and interestingly when they bronzed the seam they ordered in 2 kg of dry ice and put dry ice in the tank which is interesting because you guys are using water maybe your method is better....?
Great video, subbed. Didn’t know you guys were on UA-cam. I just put an ls2 in a 82 trans am Pontiac. My first swap. Can I just ask what fuel pump assembly did you use? Is it a universal type or out of a commodore ?
The obvious, put the lines out the right side of the M/C. Those pipes have been in the way for over 50 years! And the fuel pump is sitting higher than the timber floor. And as for the rear springs,,,, getting them reset will flatten them and cause axle tramp. Overhaul them defenitly but use lowering blocks and keep the proper arch in the springs. It will hook far better and not tramp. Or tramp less with 40 odd kilos extra of ugly Ford truck diff!!
love your work, you have me liking videos before ive even watched them
Loving the hiking boots + shorts look. Aussies get all the cool fashion.

I’m assuming you put the o ring in for the fuel pump when you modified the tank again in a later episode.

Good job boys 👍🏻
hi nice old car a lot of .work to go.

Thanks for your input. But we will continue to build it as per our engineers request. Lowering blocks aren’t an option...
You have to get yourself a mic. Sometimes you're really hard to hear.
