My oh my, what awesome memories of BSA. Loved this video (and still do). Amazing times back in the 80's with Gary, Bill, Tim, Rich and Dave. Thanks for sharing this video.
This song should have been and was made to be in a motion picture movie slot within a movie. It just fits and has the soundtrack song quality. Cool video shoot to boot. Thanks for posting this great throwback band.
I still have my BSA tour jacket ......black with the black/wht striped cuff. LOL....I cannot believe I still know ALL the words for all of these songs. smh. GREAT stuff . Just joined their facebook page. What a great band. Thoooose were the days.
Filmed on what was a very long production day, in the lobby of the Fox Theatre, with a lot of young girls who shouldn’t have been partying with these guys at 10 am LoL special thanks to the cops and theatre staff for being so cool and not ruining our fun. I was on the video crew. Good times.
I interviewed these guys for the WSU student newspaper. Some of them went to Warren Mott HS. I went to WSU with Bill. Some set of pipes, eh? Very nice guys & a lot of fun!
yes~Warren Mott I graduated 1977 BSA played our sock hops and I remember them down at Hart Plaza! I silkscreened the BSA t shirts in art class at Mott for our fundraiser for the dances
better than Loverboy band and many other mtv bands,,,, I wish they became as big as Guns and Roses,,,, they are so good,,,, I was young and happy in the 1980s,,, parents alive,,, that should been played alot on Mtv,,,,, If in L A they would of hit at that time Detroit was not the place... maybe NYC ....they all had the look and talent and vibe,,,,
Found a cd at a local store years ago (complication) of my favorite local bands which has a high quality recording of this tune. Jamming that tune brought back the feelings and I was a little loud in my backyard because it sounded soooooooo good!
Yeah, these guys were pretty cool. I took guitar lessons from Rich when I was like 14 or 15 and it started a lifetime of chord abuse. They really should have broken bigger than they did.

I can relate, went to school with these guys starting at Butcher Jr High, I know their mom’s…we went to class together, it was a scholastic disaster in shop class…Gary gave me a few lessons in the early eighties…I put the guitar down, then picked it up steady about 25 years ago and still play 2-4 hours a day…I got stories just ask.
@@rebelrocker7494 Gary got wealthy from smart house automation, is married to Erica a singer he produced at one time, and lives in Scottsdale, AZ. Bill Blake was on Star Search years ago with Ed McMahon and was a finalist. The bass player is a highly regarded portrait artist. Don't know much about Dave Gerston the original singer or Tim Marko the drummer.
Toby Redd, The Look, BSA, and Rhythm Method. Defined Detroit in the 80's
Wow,I forgot about the Look ,Dont know how I managed that.
And The Rockets! Great times, and great music!
Rhythm Corp Not method lol

Great band. Great tune!
These guys were better than alot of bands that made it in the same genre. Saw them many times at NYNY, the Ritz etc. A reunion show would be killer.
Badass song from one of the GREAT DETROIT bands! Thank you!!!

Didn not realize what a great song thi swas
Epic
It's always better when Gary's singing just saying
agree
This sounds like White Lion , “Wait” who stole it from who?
Detroit..
I thought only Spaniola sang?
There were three singers Gary, Dave and Bill. Gary never wanted to sing lead, he sang Time to move and it became a hit, so he was forced to sing more.
Dave Gerstyn was the OLS for years before Bill joined…don’t remember Gary singing much back then…went to school el-hi with these guys.
Lol
in my opinion, Bill was the end of the band. His importance and ego became to much to overcome.
