Guys, please do a little educating and research, all fines are illegal. Stop calling Policies and legislation LAW as it is not. Police officers are only Policy Officers and nothing else. I agree you must act responsibly, but as long as you are not causing harm lose or damage you are fine. Their illegal policies are fining you for something that might happen, so if it doesn't happen you have been fraudulently robbed. You really need to research so you know what your talking about on your pod casts. Good reference is 1973, research what the illegal government did and you'll have better comprehension. I love everything 4x4 but men and women really need to start educating themselves about the truth. Cheers guys.
So you condone this fuckw*t behaviour? Police Officers are LAW enforcement officers...where'd you get this policy officer bullshit? Rules of the road apply on the sand just like on the road, and betcha that all those fines were warranted.

@@OnCountryWithMickcomically low speed limits, touching any electronic device is "using a mobile phone", blow off valves and random tire sized are illegal - the rules are silly and so are you for pretending they aren't.
I am disappointed that this number is so low. Teewah Beach is GAZETTED ROAD under Queensland Law. This means that ALL ROAD RULES APPLY on the beach. Drink driving, speeding, hooning, seatbelts, defective vehicles, people riding in trays, and unlicensed driving are just as illegal on Teewah Beach (and on Kgari - pronounced gah-rhee) as they are on the Bruce Highway. Teewah Beach HAD an 80kph speed limit in places, but I have heard it's been its been reduced to 50kph for its entire length. (Which is a shame.) Parents forget that they are allowing their children to play on a highway.
I've been visiting Teewah Beach since I was 7, in 1979. I first drove on Kgari beach when I was 7. Back in those days, 4wds weren't as popular (they were rough as bags and you only bought one if you needed it or, like us, used it as a recreational tool) so there was limited traffic on the beach. We could get away with driving because the cops didn't care and, because of the limited numbers, no one was doing stupid stuff. At 12 years old, if some random in a Ute pulled up, us kids would just jump in the back because we knew the person driving would take it easy. At 15, I was being sent, by myself, down the beach 5-10klm to buy the paper & some milk from the shop because we'd run out. Once again, my folks had instilled in me a sense of doing the right thing and it's be OK. Of course, at 17 I got my drivers licence here in Queensland, and the cops started showing up more frequently. Of course, I was 18 when I got pulled over the first time on the beach and the cop looked at my licence and smirked "how long have you been driving this beach? It's got to be more than 5 years. Stay safe." I've even stood in front of bulldozers trying rip out the last grove of old world forest, a place I can take, a place I call my release, if you want to come up with me. Over the years, on my (at least) annual visit, and as four wheel drives got more comfortable, i've noticed that increase in the amount of people and the decrease in the amount of "ability", or "care" being taken. That was driven home while I worked on Kgari as a tour guide. I've also seen my fair share of deaths onthe island through ignorance and arrogance, and both are as sad as each other. I held one poor English backpacker as she took her last breath. Getting in touch with her family to pass on her final words will live with me forever. The road rules aren't there to spoil anyone's fun. Kgari and Teewah Beach are magical and relaxing and enjoyable places. A mate and I went up last year "unsupervised" and i managed to convince him to drive this day - he didn't know we were going to Eli Creek and that I would be having a skin full of "big boy" drinks while tubing down.
Sorry but there are a billion signs on all the beaches. Speed limit signs. National Park signs. Most of the vehicles fined are doing something wrong, the police just didn’t turn up and sting 400 people, they stung 400 doing the wrong things. No seat belts, speeding, wreck less driving and defects. The amount of vehicles on QLD roads that are so illegal and i see them daily. The police have been taking it easy on these people for to long. I’m all for having fun and enjoying our beautiful country but there has to be rules, or some idiots will burn the place down, kill some innocent people maybe even kids. If you don’t like rules then go find private property to be foolish on. It’s actually about time the police and rangers did something because something bad was going to happen soon and places would start to shut down. It’s not being anti fun with these actions from the police it’s weeding out the ones that cant do the right thing.

Please explain “Their illegal policies are fining you for something that might happen”???!
Like tacklecraft said - wake everyone to what going on or get stomped on.

Beach or bush, so many people seem to think the rules stop where the black top ends. Too mamy know there are rules but simply don't care
Predictable result from having nonsense rules
@@frankwren8215 I don't thin standard road rules are nonsense. No speeding, no mobile phones, Wear a seat belt, no drink driving, no hooning and keep your vehicle legal. It's not hard.
@@OnCountryWithMick I think you're gay, and I don't care what you think
@@OnCountryWithMick spot on.
(Which is a shame.)
Parents forget that they are allowing their children to play on a highway.
Stay safe."
I've even stood in front of bulldozers trying rip out the last grove of old world forest, a place I can take, a place I call my release, if you want to come up with me.
That's the thing though, it's not a bloody highway. It's a f&$king beach!
@ typical gen X, loves rules, loves govt, hates fun.
What’s this a COP channel in disguise.. you look like and act like the things ..! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We need backlash for the police and Queensland government on this
For What exactly ? Reigning in the dangerous , irresponsible Dickheads that " Far Kit Tup " for everyone else ?
No , I applaud these actions . It's the Yahoos that get these area closed for Everybody .
What speeding and drink driving is OK is it? You won't be saying that is one of your kids gets cleaned up on the beach.
For WHAT exactly ? For going out and DOING THEIR JOB , by bringing the irresponsible , and frankly speaking , rather Dangerous Yahoos and Mug Lairs under Notice ?
It's those Mugs and Yahoos that get these Areas Shut Down to EVERYONE .
But you, apparently , think That's OK .

30 years ago we used common sense, now that no one seems to have any common sense anymore, the police have had to step in,the only problem with that is that some are more harsh than others
