This is why Adam Rapa is my personal pick for greatest player on the scene right now. He's got ridiculous high notes, but his tone in the lower register and upper makes him a joy to listen to at all times
One of the truly great trumpet sounds of today. Well done Adam with all you are doing to push brass playing and instrument design ahead as we move forward toward another decade.
I’m a supporter of Adam Rapa and he is inspiration to me. I really enjoy his playing and his way of thinking. I do like the new Lotus trumpets and they seem to great instruments. All though I got to say I would be a bigger fan of Lotus trumpets then Monet but just my opinion. I believe that every player should pick a instrument that best fits and helps the performer reach the highest level he wishes to demonstrate or share with the audience. Having said that, I feel like Adam is working harder playing Lotus trumpets. I don’t want to say it’s a straining sound but it sounds like he is working harder. Although I do hear a lot more easy of bending notes which I know he likes to do which is him having no limits in between notes. I do hear a strain on his sound on these horns. Is it just me or is it that he played his 4th hour of playing and this was recorded? I also don’t trust much of live recording done on phones.
Adam is amazing, I don;t think is he working harder at all that is just how he plays, go back and watch his other videos on his lotus and he adapts his style, tone to the music and it pure amazement to watch.
He is amazing to watch as a performer. His very passionate and has a great sound. I do agree with but there is a strain that is that is present more then before.
He also said in one of his videos he knows how to look like he's working harder as he was in a band where he was moving and dancing while playing so he knows how to act but he said it's easy to play the Lotus horns
He is human. Every day and every hour is going to be different. I think he is a marvelous musician and I find his artistry inspiring. I guess that's enough for me. I think the Lotus mouthpieces and horns are fantastic, but I don't play on them. Each to his own IMHO. (although I do have a M2 ordered, we'll see, Ha!) Love to all !!! Also, what may sound 'strained' to some sounds 'passionate' to others.
I just cant get over the tone at 0:51 his playing is sounding more like a singer than a trumpet and I love it.
Looks like Adam is playing and directing at the same time. Now that’s talent 😅
Bro it's played many years

日本で初めてblastの公演された時からアダムラッパさん大好きです❤他のコンサートでもお会いしました。またお会いしたいです。日本に来られるご予定はありますか?
Well I found my new inspiration
These high notes are so well played and smooth but the very first note is imo way more impressive.

Magnífico , el mejor trompetista del planeta . Claro que el director tiene el mismo corte de pelo de Adam.

At about 1:10, what is that awesome crackling sound you make and how did you do it?
Luke Judd flutter tounging
Connor Marciniak thanks now I have to learn flutter tounging
Luke Judd lol good luck
I thought it was a growl
some accompaniments just sound better to me like this one (and Sandoval's Arutunian with orchestra, and Vizzutti's Firedance with brass band etc)
Has anyone transcript this piece? Want to play this piece so bad, it's so beautiful
