well, it will certainly bring the feeling of exploring a brand new world/game, but not the same as minecraft. minecraft was very empty and lonely when it first launched (in a good way), and it gave a feeling of isolation and suspense, while hytale will most likely bring a feeling similar to ori and the blind forest/will of the wisps, because it's a much more lively game full of different mechanics and places and creatures to interact with

I was never worried about the riot layoffs damaging Hytale since they had said how Riot wasn't taking over and that they were mostly just funding them and kept the hytale team running the development, I just don't think it would've been likely that Riot would suddenly change that and take control of who's on the team, I might be misremembering, but either way, I'm not worried
... ? :D riot cutting workforce/the budget is not dangerous to hytale when thats literally the only role they play to hytale? They are the ones giving them A BUDGET.
@thatrichan Wtf, I never said anything about Riot controlling or reducing their budget in any way, I specifically talked about Riot laying off workers. Please actually read the comment thoroughly before replying.
My hype has lessened somewhat, but my expectations have grown exponentially. These long years of waiting means I no longer expect a simple fun game with a lot of potential. I expect a game that releases with that potential realized and the features and experience to match. Taking all this extra time just so you can play it on your phone isn't going to cut it.
@@ethans2393Hytale, by it's promises, will probably be really miracle of our dreams. But in most of cases with games I've followed till now, it happened exactly as you said. Everything developed poorly after years, years of work, most of them gave up, some of them gave up after release, some are just dead crawling right now.
They really did us dirty by announcing the game how they did all that time ago lol. I'm just sad they don't do the regular blog posts, but it has led me to just not think about the game anymore. Guess I'll just be happy with what I got right now and then oneday it'll be soon to release and I'll be happy
Atleast riot knows the potential of a "minecraft killer" theoretical billions of dollars lay within hytale's release, but again emphasis on theoretical, so hopefully they can get things thorough before faith runs out. But then again it also relies alot on how connected hypixel and riot is, as no point in firing someone you aren't paying
will mincraft has been out for so long now hytale being late for me makes it more of a mincraft killer than anything els but i hope not, i want hytale not the end of mincraft
@@depp9111 Mojang has to step up their production if they want to compete. That or finally make a 2.0 version of Minecraft with a complete overhaul of the game to make it more optimized.
Riot hit a jackpot by buying out Hypixel Studios. The potential is limitless so it doesn't make sense for Riot to not take advantage and create a better version of Minecraft.
So I know this is a little late after the video came out, but I think this is something that needs to be said. Hytale is now owned by riot. And for those who are living under rocks, have one of, if not the best media sides in gaming period. (literally gave gigabytes of free music for creators to use, but besides the point) if Hytale needs any help with a new trailer, they can go ask for help for the league studios and make an absolute banger of a trailer with probably some amazing music to boot. so if anything, I am not worried, just looking forward to what will eventually come.
I'm gonna have insane ammount of hours in that game i can already feel it, and I will also tell my every friend about the game and invite to my server because why not!
I feel like this game is suffering from the same problem that Helldivers 2 had. Helldivers 2 was planned to be a much smaller game (in the public space), and the devs didn't plan for the game to be as big as it got. I think Hytale originally was planned to be a PC game that is niche and for people who like Minecraft, but enjoy a better modding scene, but then the trailer blew up, people really wanted to try it out, and then they had to rework so many aspects about the game that people really want, such as multiplatform release, modding, etc.
I really appreciate that you come at this topic from such a grounded place. You really dispel the misinformation that surrounds this game. The amount of times I've encountered people who just repeat some sensationalist line about the devs "Not even communicating" is infuriating. It just goes to show that people will just mindlessly repeat a line without even doing their own research, because within a 2 minute google search you could see that the team have communicated pretty damn consistently. I also think it's laughable, the amount of people who say the game is dead, and they won't even care if it ever comes out. People will be frothing at the tits again the second we get a release date. It's all just typical gamer etitlement... Anyway, you're approach is recognised. You do a great job of keeping the community informed, since so many others can't be bothered to look for themselves.
It sucks that Hytale isn't out, but I'd rather have a good game developed by passionate devs than a buggy/largely flawed game developed by exhuasted devs. I'm convinced Hytale will be a cultural phenomenon, and i don't think it would be if they hadn't delayed it. I may be too old to really get into the game by the time it comes out, I'm already getting there, but I'm just hoping it's the best game possible.
Bro I was in 2-3rd grade when I discovered this game. I'm now entering college. That's how long it's been, i get the whole "the game is ready when it's ready" thing but dude it's been so long I've basically almost fully grown up and the game isn't even in beta testing
"create and play together is amazing" you know the most successful game in the world has that exact sales pitch its called Minecraft and it's been out for almost 15 YEARS!
I remember when the trailer for Hytale released all those years ago, and to be honest, I didn't have much interest for it. I thought it was just going to be another one of those minecraft-esque games, plus I always struggle getting interested into new games (just like I didn't have much hype/interest for undertale when it was going crazy during it's release). It's been Many years since that trailer, and only recently, like a few months ago at least, I've been now gaining genuine interest for Hytale. I don't know if it'll release anytime soon, but I'm always excited for even the smallest updates we're given. Plus personally I feel like Mojang has disappointed us with how they're managing minecraft. I try not to give myself high hopes because of that, but sometimes I can't help it haha...
Same for me, but funnily enough, it was the textures I mainly disliked. I later rediscovered the game through a gameplay video like a month or two before they stopped the development blogs. But I had become completely obsessed with the game, still am, though it's on the backburner for now. It simply looked so exciting and refreshing compared to Minecraft, and I've even come to really like the art style too. Like I said though, it was just as the game's marketing was being tuned down, so while it was unfortunate, I was more than prepared for that eventuality since I had subsisted without the game for so long anyways. Hopefully it'll live up to our expectations whenever it does release.
Why can't people understand that making a game as big as this costs a lot of time? Also the times they had to change engine and stuff, it all adds up. Can't you be patient?
Here's the facts most people don't wanna face, the current system in the industry for generating hype is next to completely useless, Hytale doesn't need any hype right now whatsoever, it'll get all the hype it needs once A: It drops its official release trailer with the date, and B: Streamers start picking up on the game. Palworld had barely any hype whatsoever, hell between it being announced and released the game dropped out of existence, now its whopping Pokemons ass in only a few days. Whatever 'hype' Hytale lost it will regenerate very quickly, we've seen this many times in the gaming industry. *Especially* now that disapproval and unrest with Mojang and Minecraft is at an all time high, since that'll be the new draw for an audience. Any hype you generate by announcing a game is next to totally meaningless for the potential success of the game in the future As for the people saying their hype is dead or that this game has been a letdown, its basically just vain and pointless venting. You know damn well you're gonna play the game once it comes out, and if you refuse to do it because you feel 'slighted' in some way because the game didn't come out by the time you expected it to, you're either dumb, entitled and will be denying yourself a possibly very enjoyable experience for an imagined reason, or you're just straight up lying and will end up getting it anyway (which is most often the case).
To be clear, I will, of course, play the game when it comes out because the hype is still there, but I feel like it has settled. Actually, I got into gaming again after a long time and I have to stay that I want to experience the world and story of hytale
Yooo I was in the video! That’s awesome! Honestly been getting kinda hyped about the game again as I’m getting close to graduating from college this spring and will then finally have the time to start pursuing passion projects like writing and making mods! I went to college for a game programming degree but I knew even then (five years ago) that I most likely wouldn’t be getting out of college and going straight into the gaming industry, and I’m more than content to make mods or small indie games in my free time instead while applying my programming skills elsewhere and with hytale’s estimated release of 2025-2026 I hope to be in a position to chase the opportunities as early as possible with it!
Congrats on getting to the finish line with your degree! I'm in the same spot, about to get a CS degree and also trying to get into gamedev, and man I'm excited for the Hytale's modding tools
are u all fricking stupid!? its not going to release, i told you this Last Year and before Year!! WHY CAN'T U LEARN and no i'm not a hater, i'm the reality-checker!. i want a Beta now!
I was never worried nor did I have any surprise for the wait time. I knew they would be expanding the game as soon as I heard they partnered with Riot. It was time for them to make the game they dreamed of without the limitations of a small indie studio. Good for them. I hope they take their time. If I could wait 12 years for Diablo then I can wait again. Patience is a virtue as they say.
My personal opinion: it's better to postpone and make the game as good as it can be, as long as there's funding for it. If Hytale releases and it's a great game, the ytbers and community will generate much more hype than the trailer did
Funnily enough I never lost interest in playing this game, even though the trailer released when I was still in high school and now I'm a massively busy med student I'd still make time to play the game because I really love everything I've seen and heard about it
I never lost interest for hytale, I did change the way I was interested in it though. 5 years ago, I was just excited to play the game. Now I learned to code and I'm just genuinly excited to create within the game and see what others create. I also love that their new engine allows the game to be deployed in every platform. Hopefully the game will be crossplay and I will be able to share my interest of the game with my younger sisters.
I am still very muched hyped for Hytale though the reasons why have shifted, i now have a Degree in Game Art and though playing it will still be a blast my focus is now on making content like mods and creating interesting stories and adventures. I'm sad i wont have as much time to play as i may have used to but i look forward to making the time where i can :) Thank you for continuing to keep us up to date and in the know as much as you can
Such a mood! Getting my masters in game programming and I sooo badly want to make stuff in the Hytale engine. Or just work on Hytale :P but I imagine they’re looking for more experienced devs
i feel like all the people that said "my hype has diminished over the years" will be the one losing their minds once it actually comes out. well to be fair itd be all of us who would be losing our minds
The Hypixel studios is doing a right thing with their constant delays and polishing. The "something is better than nothing" logic many fans use is *not working* here. If they publish "something", the people's reaction will be "something". Something not great. And will Hypixel Studios, an inexperienced devs, continue working on it with such a blow to their motivation? No. The example is right before us: Freejam, a developers of Robocraft (a predecessor of Crossout and a first custom vehicles based shooter game) made Robocraft 2. It was raw, but they insisted on having their "vision". Some time ago, Robocraft 2 came out on Steam as an Early access and was review bombed with only 21% of positives at the start, 31% now. After seeing this, Freejam just scrapped the game and removed it from Steam shop search list. Just like that. The more time Hytale spends in development, the less will be a probability of it to fail at the very start. Remember: if there's something really good, does not matter how long it was being made.
Hytale has spent so long in the oven I'm worried that it's going to get overcooked. I still think to this day that the game looked fine and should have shipped ages ago. I'm glad they're able to go further beyond the original scope for the game, but we all wanted the game we saw that looked and still looks like it could launch any day now.
I think that as we've been given more time to digest what the devs are giving to us we're able to generate a deeper appreciation for the game as a whole, knowing that they're taking their time and trying to make it right, rather than just being excited for a new voxel-based release.
I want Hytale to release soon, There have been many improvements and I'm excited to play it but if any time this year roughly around the summer, It would have a lot of hands on deck, Continue to update it while people play, Just as any game does, Hype or No hype this game stays in my back pocket just sitting on it till I can actually put my hands on it, I remember the hype when I was a teenager and now becoming an adult, I have interest in helping develop the game if the wait is longer than the next 2-3 years.
I always get excited for Hytale with the understanding it might take some time. Not the same for everyone, but for me personally I don't feel rushed to get a game. These small updates and awesome channels revolving the game (Kweebec Corner heh) spark my interest and continue to make me excited no matter how much time's passed!
People forget you don't have to hype anything up, because the best hype is self generative. That, and I personally find thay the wholesome acceptance of something for it's release is way cooler than a rushed and overwhelming burnout of excitement too.
Even minecraft aint that much, i don't think they can srcew this up that much and the initial game to be realesed would've been fine as just a better minecraft, but now they are building a accessible game engine that will hopefully be used for decades from now by the modding community
That's because there wasn't any new trailer, or announcement, or "coming soon". On purpose. At this point, they don't want us to be hyped, so we won't bother them with constant questions and rushing
The announcedment trailer dropped about 5 years ago. That's worrying, because, if they released Hytale today, what was expected back thent would probably be received poorly given the 5 year lull. Hopefully the remaining community twill have the support to make the content the game will likely need to carry it if it does release...
All i wanted was a little demo of the game or anything, id play the demo 24/7 if they release one, even if its a 6 by 6 sky block with nothing but a tree
The problem with cyberpunks launch was the fact that they had to juggle such a high gen, ambitious game with the outdated tech of last gen consoles. My concern with hytale is the new engine being built for mobile, and consoles. I hope they go with the approach Minecraft took and release a much more dumbed down version on the phone.
Its just too bad I'm gunna die of cancer before the game actually comes out (or even gets an open beta) :/ I even tried to contact the devs and be like "Hey can I just try what you guys have I'm literally dying this year" but to no avail
I’m gonna be honest, I’m tired of waiting for Hytale at this point. I can’t be bothered with keeping up with this game when the devs release such vague blog posts and not showing any major progress to the game I’ll still play it if it releases though
I literally check on it once a year. I used to be obsessed with it the first year it dropped a trailer. I'm upset with them. I get it. It takes a long time, but why did they drop a trailer before the game was even sort of finished. I get a teaser a year or 2 before release. BUT 5 YEARS. Come on. That's ridiculous. Giving little to no information on development updates is rough too. I think I'm done checking on this game.
@@KaitG99 Sadly it would have been released about 2 years ago if Riot didn't want them to make it for console/android/iphone etc. But because of that it took a long time.
At this time I just don't really care if it'll take 2 years or 4. I'll be working anyway but if I love the game I'll still play it a ton. Thanks Remote Working
If something we can learn of Palworld: Is that if Hytale launches, and its everything it promised, and its as GREAT as its shaping...(And if Minecraft continues to slackoff) then yeah...I'm not so worried. Its kind of admirable how Riot has handled this project and others. I cannot think of another company that doesn't start with a big R that would have let the Hypixel team take so much time.
I don't think I have exactly the same excitement 12 year old me had when the trailer announced... but every time a blog post drops, it's not far off! I've now been at university for about a year and a half and I expect to get a part-time job as an Embedded Engineer soon too, so it is kinda surreal how much my life has changed from the 12 year old kid who watched the trailer. But I still can't wait to make the same ideas that I wanted to make at that time. The things I am so excited to make in Hytale using the modding tools are the same. For anyone wondering how the maths works out: I left school and started university when I was 16.
I don't think some people even watch the content before commenting. Some comments on Hytale media nowadays are so tone deaf, its almost insulting. The game isn't "dead" the studio isn't in "dev hell" and the game did not need to be released early, nor was the trailer released "too early" It's coming. It is inevitable. And it is promising. I think... that's what scares some people. Some potential players are scared of what this game could be, the change that comes with it, the potential for it to really be something to shake the foundation of the old tired tried and true gaming we're used to in the genre.
I’m not really sure how to word it, but I hope they make it REALLY obvious when the beta opens up. I also wonder how they keep track of everyone who signed up for it over the years. I signed up like a year after the first trailer and I’m not sure if it’s still valid.
Even though this is 2 days old if this does become a 2025 release, I feel more so worried I want Minecraft to finally have some comp so Mojang. actually, steps up there game finally the past years in MC have felt kind of lack luster and kind of lost its charm I don't know if I'll personally buy hytale but I maybe might do so. A main reason im worried is cause GTA 6s release whether or not you like GTA in general it became one of the things each release had media covering it and like the whole internet raving for the next release and when GTA 5 came around the media and internet exploded talking about it i feel like this same level of hype will overshadow hytale. Another worry is uhhh well windows 11 stuff cause last i checked windows 10 will be shutting down support in i think oct or something so whats going to happen with that you know?.
Hytale is a perfect game already. It doesn't matter in what state the final product turns out as the toolset like Garry's mod means its a new sandbox engine for custom content and servers. And I am so ready for Garry's Mod, Minecraft and Roblox's baby
with how much they're putting into this, there's no way they're not going to put gross monetization into it. example: party animals. also if it's going to be made with mobile in mind as well, then there's only going to be so much they can do to make combat/controls interesting. like with pc games dealing with console-itis (reduction in game quality due to console restrictions) there will now be something far worse, mobile-itis. i love games to be accessible, but i also think that a game can still retain its complexities at the same time. i don't want the pc or console version of this game to be a hi-res mobile game with simplified controls. i don't want minecraft combat 2.0. (love minecraft as a whole, but not the combat)
Its been in development since 2015 like its about time we see something, with riot games investment aswell? come on it's not like we are making player one here, but it does have serious potential with vr tho, but that's for later, the people want gameplay!
Feels bad man. Told some friends about this, they've all now moved on to start families, or have lost touch over the years. Never got to share the opportunity to have some fun with this game because the developers were so busy seeing dollar signs to actually make good on their initial promises and goals. Kind of a shame really, won't have the impact it could have, but at least it'll find a niche with the next generation, maybe. Not sure they're as into voxel survival and building games as the last generation. Time will tell.
Tbh I lost interest in hytale after one year of the inicial trailer and silent months, but when I rediscovered it when they started talking more and gave more news I got hooked again, I assume when the final trailer drops the same will happen with most of the lost fanbase
Palworld comparison doesnt work at all since hytale and the palworld developers have vastly different approaches.Palworld and its predesessor craftopia were rushed projects where hytale has been taking its dang time
Hytale is probably the game that I'm most excited about out of any other game, but I've learned to cool my jets and just play other games and tactically forget about it until big news strikes
I have been waiting since the trailer and despite working most days I'm still constantly on my toes waiting even If I have to wait a few more years I'm sure I'd still drag my partner on to play It. Thanks for your videos on hytale they are my brain candy.
Ive never been as hyped for a game as I was in 2019. Im not gonna lie, I really miss that feeling, and I dont think they can re-ignite it back to that level. However, I would love to be proven wrong!
Kweebec, I find your justification for Hypixle's silence to be quite masterful. I also want to echo that sentiment in giving some more food for thought: No mans sky said too much, too often. Over promised and under delivered initially and was focused on rebuilding good will rather than making the game. Hypixle isn't doing such. Instead, after being bought by Riot, they pivoted to a more reclusive and careful community engagement plan. In my mind, this was the only good course of action. Imagine being in the shoes of the big man in charge: You have a clear devoted sect of the Minecraft fan base waiting for you to do something to finally change things up. They've known about Hytale for a long time now, and are very excited. You just got a huge income of capital, skilled developers, and wisdom from a massive game publishing firm (Riot), and you've got more passion and vision than EVER to make this game the best game it can be ON RELEASE. So, you quiet down, take the money, take your dev team, and work on this game to the best of your time and skill will allow. Say too much, and people speculate and constantly feel like they are being 'pulled along' or 'teased'. that is why you must say as little as possible. It's better for people to think Hytale is dead and to see it come back out of nowhere than for people to feel like they are being strung along like a puppet. Letting that Trailer hype fade must've been an immensely hard choice. I can't imagine sitting on a timebomb of excitement that powerful and doing NOTHING with it. Yet they made the right move and shut their mouths and worked on the game instead.
I still look forward to it. I'm just afraid it's going to being overdone. Plus, some of us people are now grown up and now have a family / career and don't have the time as we did. There's always going to be bit of disappointment with the massive delay.
No bc this was underneath a post made by the Valorant UA-cam and was like “you ever hold a corner blah blah blah something and get paranoid” and I was like wtf does hytale have to do with valorant. But now realize they are two separate posts
I think my biggest concern regarding Hytale is sort of what they prioritize over completing the base game. I can't recall if it was one of your videos, or someone else's, but I recall hearing that they had been working on adding some minigames to Hytale, similar to the ones from the Hypixel days, and I can't help but ask myself why that's even being made a priority this early in development. That really seems like something that should be a post-launch focus. Same with mod development tools and things of that nature. Don't get me wrong, it's cool that they're adding these things, but I think they should prioritize getting an MVP out first and then adding in these things later. But on the other hand, maybe I'm just misunderstanding their post-launch plans for the game. I know we often compare it too much with Minecraft, but I somewhat expected Hytale to release in a beta state, or at the very least a 1.0 state, and development would continue for at least a couple years after, if not longer. Expecting Mojang's level of dedication to developing the same game might be too much to expect, I understand, but it doesn't seem unrealistic to expect a similar release schedule.
Minigames are a core tenet of the game which has been mentioned in their website and devblogs concerning the game's underlying principles. A developer studio, depending on its size, can work simultaneously on different aspects of a game, e.g., art, coding, sfx, and so forth, and that's true of minigames as well. Hytale was originally planned to launch similarly to Minecraft, albeit at a later stage in development, but that changed due to the publicity and opportunities afforded to it by the success of its announcement trailer. The timeline has changed to be more similar to an AAA game, and they will continue to update it post-launch because that's the model of game they wish to pursue in a similar vein to Minecraft.
TBH I think this response of delaying a game because of heightened interest in order to "better meet that level of interest" is a treacherous path. Not saying that they can't navigate it, but there's been plenty of games that have done similar, delayed their game to rework and rework it, that eventually launched in a worse off state due to scope and feature creep ruining the overall experience they wanted to make better. For example Biomutant is this very thing for me where I feel the larger open world that was a direct response to the hype actively detracts from the fun, and they should have not wasted the time and efforts in that regard. People love quoting Shigeru Miyamoto's "a delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad", but there's also truth that a tighter, more distilled experience is by far better than trying to put every last idea you have into a product.
I'm joining the army in aproximatively a year and i'm worried that I wont get to know what Hytale is actually like :( Hope I'll be able to play it at least a bit
The longer this goes on, the more and more convinced I am that we're getting the open beta Summer of 2025. It could be June, July, August, whatever. It could even be slightly off and be Fall of 2025. But either way, I think if they don't have it out by at least the middle or latter half of 2025, something has gone terribly wrong. We should honestly try to relax and not get too anxious from this point on. We still don't have enough info on the game yet, so maybe we shouldn't make too many assumptions until we know things like the combat system are like. That, and I still really want to see what their redstone is like, if they're even using something like that. Jokingly, I'm calling it "Bluestone," but I'm pretty sure it'll sound way cooler.
J ai une question pour les fan hytale et la question est la suivante on coupe comment les arbre ? Parce que si il faut coupe l arbre Block par Block alors que les arbre font 300 m de haut alors la il ne faut pas compter sur moi
The issue with the project was that it was too ambitious and they realized that if they released it all buggy and unplayable they could easily ruin the people’s respect
Trailer was awesome, do you say trailer was fake? If we only get all the features in trailer and only the mobs they showed in dev blogs in 2021-2022, everyone would love that I am pretty sure.
Well the only good thing of the delaying of the game (for me), it's that maybe when it came out, my daughter will have the age to play, so we will share it.
I just desperately hope that Hytale will NOT have any sort of cutscenes or quest system. Obviously you should be able to build sth like this, but with the amount of editors built into the game, I doubt there will be a lack of support for that
Wanted you guys to know I do read comments, and definitely feel you on the points made.

@@depp9111if minecraft doesn’t start upping it’s game in regards to updates I’ll not be as sad over at dying during to Hytale
If they don't blow it they'll one hundred percent kill minecraft and it's weak-ass updates. But they HAVE to stick that landing.
When this game drops I will tell every single person I know. I am so excited for this game.
I'm gonna have insane ammount of hours in that game i can already feel it, and I will also tell my every friend about the game and invite to my server because why not!
Me to, im dragging all my friends along and i will learn how to make my own server and game
I agree as well, it eloquently conveys the same points I have been parroting over the last few months.
Very well said
It sucks that Hytale isn't out, but I'd rather have a good game developed by passionate devs than a buggy/largely flawed game developed by exhuasted devs. I'm convinced Hytale will be a cultural phenomenon, and i don't think it would be if they hadn't delayed it. I may be too old to really get into the game by the time it comes out, I'm already getting there, but I'm just hoping it's the best game possible.
Im still optimistic :)
The game will be out when its done. I always feel hyped for the game.
Bro I was in 2-3rd grade when I discovered this game. I'm now entering college. That's how long it's been, i get the whole "the game is ready when it's ready" thing but dude it's been so long I've basically almost fully grown up and the game isn't even in beta testing
@@noname788bro im about to finish college 💀
I'm in university now, but i still wait for Hytale cause it's idea of adventure, create and play together is amazing
If I have to choose between a rushed bad game or a good game 10 years in the making, I take game 10 years in the making
The game being delayed has massively benefited its long term success potential in all ways
Any hype you generate by announcing a game is next to totally meaningless for the potential success of the game in the future
As for the people saying their hype is dead or that this game has been a letdown, its basically just vain and pointless venting.
I will make sure to look out for your mods 🫡
are u all fricking stupid!? its not going to release, i told you this Last Year and before Year!! WHY CAN'T U LEARN
and no i'm not a hater, i'm the reality-checker!. i want a Beta now!
As long as the map is MASSIVE I am waiting. Imagine the DND campaigns that you can make in here.
The hype will never die for me, I love survival games, I may even dip my toes into learning to mod the game myself.
Its an opensource game like Roblox and GMod
I'm sad i wont have as much time to play as i may have used to but i look forward to making the time where i can :)
Thank you for continuing to keep us up to date and in the know as much as you can
Such a mood! Getting my masters in game programming and I sooo badly want to make stuff in the Hytale engine. Or just work on Hytale :P but I imagine they’re looking for more experienced devs
@@pairjax8065 you'd be surprised, as long as you can you prove you know how to do what they need people doing...
i feel like all the people that said "my hype has diminished over the years" will be the one losing their minds once it actually comes out. well to be fair itd be all of us who would be losing our minds
It's been more than 5 years since i saw the first trailer and my hype never died
9:20 very relatable lol
love it when u upload kweebec! still hyped abt hytale!
Love your videos Conner! A little criticism; your captions are off in a lot of places, and It makes it confusing for those hard of hearing. Thanks!
I remain cautiously optimistic about this game
People forget you don't have to hype anything up, because the best hype is self generative. That, and I personally find thay the wholesome acceptance of something for it's release is way cooler than a rushed and overwhelming burnout of excitement too.
Even minecraft aint that much, i don't think they can srcew this up that much and the initial game to be realesed would've been fine as just a better minecraft, but now they are building a accessible game engine that will hopefully be used for decades from now by the modding community
I don't know man, my hype is almost gone at this point
That's because there wasn't any new trailer, or announcement, or "coming soon". On purpose. At this point, they don't want us to be hyped, so we won't bother them with constant questions and rushing
The announcedment trailer dropped about 5 years ago. That's worrying, because, if they released Hytale today, what was expected back thent would probably be received poorly given the 5 year lull. Hopefully the remaining community twill have the support to make the content the game will likely need to carry it if it does release...
I’ve seen the first trailer so so long ago as an ad, its been something i’ve looked from time to time and im still excited
All i wanted was a little demo of the game or anything, id play the demo 24/7 if they release one, even if its a 6 by 6 sky block with nothing but a tree
Oh well i never knew i could be in a video :o, thats a suprising thing i never expected to happen!
When I know the hytale team is gearing up for release I will go into hype mode
The problem with cyberpunks launch was the fact that they had to juggle such a high gen, ambitious game with the outdated tech of last gen consoles. My concern with hytale is the new engine being built for mobile, and consoles. I hope they go with the approach Minecraft took and release a much more dumbed down version on the phone.
But minecraft is currently just as up to date on phones? They can easily do that too
Honestly bro I aint even trippin I waited this long quality over quantity
When they launch that second trailer some day all that hype is going to come right back
I am 31 and still hyped as fuck 😂😂😂
Its just too bad I'm gunna die of cancer before the game actually comes out (or even gets an open beta) :/
I even tried to contact the devs and be like "Hey can I just try what you guys have I'm literally dying this year" but to no avail
Sorry to hear that man, hope it releases soon so you’ll be able to play it
Wow your fr dying? You'll get to know about the universe before any of us. And if God of the Bible is real or not.
@@tonythegreat4275 Who tf says this to a person dying of cancer bro? Wtf is wrong with you?
I’m gonna be honest, I’m tired of waiting for Hytale at this point. I can’t be bothered with keeping up with this game when the devs release such vague blog posts and not showing any major progress to the game
I’ll still play it if it releases though
I just check up on it once every 2-3 months or so trying to sniff out that beta date, however I am in no rush.
I just kinda let myself forget about it and hope that itll be out when I remember months later. Hasn’t yet but who knows, maybe next time
I literally check on it once a year.

Halo Infinite before Hytale, now GTA 6 before Hytale LOL
really hoping for something like worldpainter to come out for hytale early
That was already planned as part of the game natively
Wasn’t expecting to see my comment in the video, very nice
I don't think I have exactly the same excitement 12 year old me had when the trailer announced... but every time a blog post drops, it's not far off! I've now been at university for about a year and a half and I expect to get a part-time job as an Embedded Engineer soon too, so it is kinda surreal how much my life has changed from the 12 year old kid who watched the trailer. But I still can't wait to make the same ideas that I wanted to make at that time. The things I am so excited to make in Hytale using the modding tools are the same.
For anyone wondering how the maths works out: I left school and started university when I was 16.
Thankyou for always being there to update us kweebek
No matter the hype. We are always here!!
If this game ever releases I'm gonna have more hours in it than every geam i have on steam.
an engine for phones, too? hooboy... better not be with microtransactions...
I don't think some people even watch the content before commenting. Some comments on Hytale media nowadays are so tone deaf, its almost insulting. The game isn't "dead" the studio isn't in "dev hell" and the game did not need to be released early, nor was the trailer released "too early"
It's coming.
It is inevitable.
And it is promising.
I think... that's what scares some people. Some potential players are scared of what this game could be, the change that comes with it, the potential for it to really be something to shake the foundation of the old tired tried and true gaming we're used to in the genre.
No one Is scared of a block game. Are you 10? Or something? Grow up.
@@bam8425 you.. clearly didn't read my comment. Try again.
Another worry is uhhh well windows 11 stuff cause last i checked windows 10 will be shutting down support in i think oct or something so whats going to happen with that you know?.
the question is will it be released before GTA 6 ? I mean this year would be perfect for the final release of hytale!
M guess is
GTA6 Console before Hytale
but
GTA6 PC after Hytale
the target demographic of this game was born after development started.
I cant wait to use hytale's amazing tools to create and have adventures, that hype never died
Short and sweet letting us know the good news! Thank you!
I have been waiting since the trailer and despite working most days I'm still constantly on my toes waiting even If I have to wait a few more years I'm sure I'd still drag my partner on to play It.
Thanks for your videos on hytale they are my brain candy.
I already have a job now, and getting married soon at 22. getting old fast
It’ll be worth it brother, hang on a bit 😂
so why not drop an alpha or beta? Couldve been alot better I feel like, as I think many people lost interest, but i assume they have their reasons
Ive never been as hyped for a game as I was in 2019. Im not gonna lie, I really miss that feeling, and I dont think they can re-ignite it back to that level. However, I would love to be proven wrong!
Kweebec, I find your justification for Hypixle's silence to be quite masterful. I also want to echo that sentiment in giving some more food for thought:
No mans sky said too much, too often. Over promised and under delivered initially and was focused on rebuilding good will rather than making the game. Hypixle isn't doing such. Instead, after being bought by Riot, they pivoted to a more reclusive and careful community engagement plan.
In my mind, this was the only good course of action. Imagine being in the shoes of the big man in charge:
You have a clear devoted sect of the Minecraft fan base waiting for you to do something to finally change things up.
I mean this is riot's Minecraft and it has to do something to compete it so yeah it takes long
I still look forward to it. I'm just afraid it's going to being overdone.
Plus, some of us people are now grown up and now have a family / career and don't have the time as we did. There's always going to be bit of disappointment with the massive delay.
I’ve been wondering about how the creative side of things will be for the community and how (adult content) will be received with it.
I wish i was on this dev team the game looks like tons of fun to work on
No bc this was underneath a post made by the Valorant UA-cam and was like “you ever hold a corner blah blah blah something and get paranoid” and I was like wtf does hytale have to do with valorant.
I do feel bad for those who are waiting for Hytale and the ones whose life revolves around Hytale's Release (Like Me) ❤️
weve heard this all before so i can expect it will never come out
TBH I think this response of delaying a game because of heightened interest in order to "better meet that level of interest" is a treacherous path.
I wonder what will be released first, Hytale or Star Citizen. 🤔
atleast you can play star citizen, while hytale no info besides pics from blog
The next major Star Citizen update is going to be the biggest QOL and feature update from what ive seen. plus pyro sounds fun
i was hyped for hytale before i was in college now im about to finish college... so much has changed idk if ill even get to play it.
I'm convinced it will be released for the next generation
I'm joining the army in aproximatively a year and i'm worried that I wont get to know what Hytale is actually like :( Hope I'll be able to play it at least a bit
I hope theres a bunch of food and cooking mechanics. I love minecraft cooking mods. Theres one that would let me make pickles and jams with jars.
i wonder if my anticipation of this outgrowing minecraft is really warrented
i mean i will certainly be playing and streaming it when it arrives
I just hope riot doesn't shove vanguard into it
Well the only good thing of the delaying of the game (for me), it's that maybe when it came out, my daughter will have the age to play, so we will share it.
I just desperately hope that Hytale will NOT have any sort of cutscenes or quest system. Obviously you should be able to build sth like this, but with the amount of editors built into the game, I doubt there will be a lack of support for that
