I just only spoke of this to any human being that my hair was thinning at my roots because I have my hair in a high pony tail everyday for tennis, and like not even 1 hour later ... I check yt and it's my 1st in recommend, and my phone was right next to me when I was talking about it, so like... Illuminati who? Like is someone listening to me 😅
@@Ashqwtuing it would depend on how thick and heavy your hair is. I can put my hair in a ponytail without a headache until my hair grows to my shoulder. But once it hits a certain length it's so heavy that no matter what I do I get a headache.
You both should check out the channel super wow style. She has a lot hair growth techniques. There is one that has a ton of comments saying her recipes work. The one I'm talking about has about 3 ingredients, aloe vera, a vitamin e capsule, and castor oil. Hope this helps both of you.
I did my ponytail this way this morning and it is a complete game changer! Not only does it take all the stress of my hair line, it also gives my ponytail more lift and volume AND keeps my thick hair up all day instead of sliding down my head. Once again, Kayley to the rescue!
I wore “Ariana Grande style” ponytail for about a year and my hairline is fuck’d up.. so I’m here, looking for help ._. i dont get how she isn’t bald yet
I wear my hair up virtually every day and have been looking at my hairline lately worried that it looks like it is starting to thin. So, glad this video was randomly suggested to me. From all my strands of hair, "Thank-you for rescuing us!" Subscribed ☺
Same sis 😭 But for me, it's because of buns. I wore my hair in a bun constantly throughout the 3 years of college. I have a fivehead. The hair in my crown has thinned so much, it pains me 💔💔
Michelle Do Rubbing castor oil along your hairline can help with hair regrowth. Just rub it on 15-60 minutes before your shower so it has time to do its magic! also, eat plenty of nutritious foods especially heathy fats, protein, fruits, and veggies.

I'm a dude that turned 40 last year and I feel like I never paid attention to the EDGES (temples?!) of my hairline, so maybe nothing has changed, but I think wearing a ponytail ALL the time (and a work hat at my job) must be at least partially responsible for what could be damage to my hairline! Maybe some ppl would say I'm crazy if I say I'm losing some hair at the edges or anywhere else lol, but hopefully, if so or not, I can just try Kayley's technique and my hair will be saved and/or regrow. I hear pumpkin seeds help by keeping testosterone from turning into DHT (dihydroTest.) which can cause male-pattern baldness (maybe helpful for women as well!). Otherwise, there's Bosley Medical IF it gets serious later (91% success rate, they claim...), or if not, I'll shave my head BALD or cut it and keep it short in the future :P THANKS Kayley! lol :D
Wow, as soon as I put up my hair I can feel the stress behind my hairline! I've gotten so used to how it pulled in the front that I haven't realized just how much stress I was putting on it! Thank you so much!
Same for me but I have a bald spot right at the front of my forehead, I started wearing it out everyday after I realised it was the ponytail causing it and after 6 months it’s almost gone
This is a LIFESAVER. I have long and thick hair and suffer from very painful headaches whenever I wear my hair up and i notice major balding on my hair line! Thank you 🙏🏽
You and me both sis, I was ripping hair out and getting headaches so often… I’m a guy an grew out my hair for two years and nobody told me nothing lmao
This video stressed me out so much lol. For one, I'm like shit I always wear my hair in a pony, especially since I cut it. And then you said switch up your hairstyles and again, I'm like shit because 99% of the time it's in a bun or pony lol. Great.
changing the position of your bun or pony - high/low, left side/right side - might help keep stress off of one area without learning 15 hairstyles (unless you want to!)
I am so pleased you posted this hack and I have found it 😍 I am starting to suffer with traction alopecia, which has been affecting my confidence 😕 I have to wear my hair up for work and I am so very happy to find a way to do this without making my hairline suffer any further...thank you x
This is exactly what I needed right now! I have to wear my hair up basically everyday because of work and I have very long hair so it's hard sometimes to switch it up and I can see it breaking. Loved the tutorial!
Thank you very much. My hairline always hurted a little bit when I was taking it all in a ponytail. But now it feels so good! No problems at all! Thank you sooo much ❤
Got up and re-done my usual pony tail before the video even finished. It seems like such a little thing but the tension in my whole body and face relaxed! Wow.
Thank you so much!! I've been wearing my hair in a pony for at least 10 years haha. I have to wear my hair up for work. I tried this today and it was easy and simple. You're saving my hair and I immensely thank you for that 💗
My god your arms are getting so muscular... Not that it's a bad thing, it means you're healthy and it's really inspiring to see your body journey continue to this day :) great tutorial!
Kayley Melissa don't suppose you'd want to make any videos about your workout routine or workout tips? I'd definitely watch it. I'm really trying to get stronger and gain energy.
Thank You! I am actually experiencing hair loss from ponytails and hair towel "turbans". I was sad to think I can't do ponytails anymore but, I'm going to give this a try!
My hair is thick heavy and long. I love it and I’m super grateful, I just struggle with it being up and out of my face, but sometimes it just drives me crazy. When I wear it up in a high bun or ponytail, after 10 minutes my hairline looks like I am getting a facelift. And I can feel hairs snapping under the weight. This is going to save my life. Thank you so much!
THANK YOU. I needed this. I’ve been growing my hair out for the past 4 years now & it’s about 4-5 inches away from my butt... the issue is that it’s naturally black and extremely thin so since I’ve been wearing it up so much because of the summer heat, it’s thinning and receding like nobody’s business and my scalp is NEON white (... if that were a color). I also got my sunglasses caught in my hair while on vacation a few weeks ago and I was a little tipsy on piña coladas so I didn’t realize I had ripped an entire bald spot out of my crown. Cool cool. Sick. Thought I’d share.
Thank you so much. I have flipped out for years believing I was going bald...which caused me to put my hair in pony tails even more. Im actually going to do my best to go without ponytails for a few months and see how it goes.
My hair was really thin but after I had cut it it started to thicken a bit and before then I had only had three hair cuts in my life so now I want more hair cuts so It can get thicker lol
Thank you so much! I wear my hair in a ponytail for years now every single day and it started thinning. I got so scared and didn’t know why but thanks for these tips they’re so helpful
As someone with really thick hair thats been putting my hair in ponytails for a good decade...thank you for this tip! Just discovered you and Im gonna try this the next time. And I definitely need to try new hair styles....
Headaches happen when u lack oil in ur hair and ur hair is losing at a fast pace. U have to look after your hair and start caring about it immediately. Hot oil should work

No pain or tension! Such a little thing but what a huge improvement! ❤️
OMG, this is so smart. I have to wear my hair up everyday for work and it has done some visible damage to my hairline. I'm going to do my hair this way from now on.
Thank you from the bottom of my balding hair. I have RA and have worn a ponytail or low on my neck bun for years. It’s easy for my hands to fix in a sophisticated look. Hated to cut it short and you just saved me from going pixie. Too old for a “cute” look. Thanks again. Wish I had searched sooner!
Hi Kayley! I loved this video! Recently I have noticed that my hair is getting thinner, I used to have super thick hair and now it just doesn't look as full and I have a hard time growing it long. When I wash my hair (which is about twice a week) I notice a TON of hair shedding and when I run my hands through my hair afterward I get almost clumps out. I'm starting to kind of worry that it will continue to thin :( do you have any tips for losing/thinning hair? Xo
I'm so sorry to hear that! This topic isn't my strong suit, but I have noticed that hair is typically a barometer for your health. Check in with yourself about your stress levels and your diet, if neither of those seem like the issue I do recommend seeing your doctor as such sudden and drastic hair loss can be an indicator of something deeper. BeautyKLove here on UA-cam does a lot of videos for hair growth, so that could be helpful as well!
Marissa McCallum I got alt of hair falling out too for a while. Throughout the day, hair naturally falls out. If you wear your hair up in a ponytail or bun then the hair falls out, but it stays trapped with the rest of your hair. So when you brush your hair or wash it then that hair will no longer be trapped, making it seems like a lot of hair is falling out. It could also have something to do with your health or diet as well
Marissa McCallum I had this problem a few months ago because of an iron deficiency (along with other problems). My doctor gave me vitamin b2 and now I don' shed as much hair as before
I am totally going to start using this hack, but I have a question! So I am fourteen and have been wearing ponytails for a long time, and have some recession at my temples, will my hair ever grow back around there as long as I don't put tension on it? Or will this hack just prevent more recession?
Olivia Grace I've stopped wearing my hair ok a typical high pony this last 6 months (I'm 15 and had some recession at my temples) and I have noticed my sparse spots have filled in alot. Not sure of this will be the same for everyone 😁
I was just complaining about this today saying my hair is thinning around where my bangs would be if I had bangs from wearing my hair up so much the past few years. I will start doing this right now!

Lol can’t relate, wore a ponytail once to school but it hurt. My hair is to long and heavy to put up, I’m so thankful for my hairline
i started using this technique when wearing headscarf in hijab style. it helps a ton. thank you for sharing!

Yes. See the doc. It could be your thyroid or hormones.
More thinning / balding hair video's 😊 really appreciate this!

I was just complaining about this today saying my hair is thinning around where my bangs would be if I had bangs from wearing my hair up so much the past few years. I will start doing this right now!
It means Jojo will get bald soon lol
Not necessarily. I wear my hair up everyday and have for 7 years and have no balding or any issues.
Lauren C hair is different for everyone. Jojos hair is already starting to bald
Shikha Goyal Jojo’s practically bald at this point
jojo is already bald
She uses 2 rubber bands and a lot of hairspray
I’m having thinning- had no idea! Thanks - great idea!
Man I feel so dumb. This is smart.
As a dude with long hair, this is a god send. thank you
Amazing! I can feel the difference already, so much less tension! Kayley, how long until any thinned hair regrows? xx
Did ur hair regrow?
@@user-mj6qr2ky9d yeah a few months postpartum it's only very temporary
