Just used Motul scooter expert 10w 40 semi synthetic its an MB oil which is correct for non wet clutch scooters. I live in Spain where it gets up to 40c reason why i used 10w 40 and not 10w 30 which is recommended. I change every 2000kms or thereabouts because i'm ultra cautious
I changed the oil on mine this weekend, your video was useful. Thanks for sharing. Do you happen to know the valve clearance settings for this scooter?
@@HOOKZIE Thanks for your response. I mean the tappet clearance settings for valve adjustment. I managed to get the specs from a local Honda dealer. Yes, there is no oil filter, just a small oir screen.
@@HOOKZIE It has an oil filter. It is located to the right of the drain hole. It is a small plate with two small bolts. Underneath the tile you will find a flat strainer which is the filtering element.👍
The Manula says 0.7L if you are not changing the oil filter and 0.8L if you are changing the oil filter. This version of the Honda Vision does not have an oil filter, yours might be different.
@@hasann1453 JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) has the JASO T 903 its own standard for 4-stroke motorcycle engine oils developed. The gradations MA, MA1 and MA2 facilitate the choice of motorcycle engine oils, which specifically for wet clutches have been developed. JASO MB stands here for a 2% reduced fuel consumption, as compared to a Engine oil in the viscosity 10W30 and JASO MA for particularly low frictional losses under all operating conditions. You should use MB classified oil as instructed in the manual however, but for me and my research on the oils viscosity and Classifications i'm happy with Castrols recommendation, for my bike.
@@bulfaru I was told by a garage that it’s doesn’t have one, but by looking at other bikes with one, you can tell by looking at where their location should be
That’s very helpful of you
I own similar bike and was wondering where to start from but thank you 🙏🏾
Glad I could help

There is an oil filter/ screen located next to the oil drain bolt, it’s the 2 8mm bolts
castrol oil selector recommended ma and ma2 oil. try motul oil selector you can buy 10W30 MB oil. Change interval is every 6000 km or 4000 miles.

Good video and thanks for sharing it, don't you clean the oil filter, torque bolt?
all the best
There is no oil filter on this model. And you can clean the bolt if necessary 👍🏿

How much capacity like .7L or .9L for 2011 model
Is the oil fully synthetic?
hello, where does this model have an oil filter? Does it have an oil filter?
It doesnt have an oil filter
You didn't do it by " hand ", you used a socket and ratchet, lol. How was the oil filter???
There isn’t an oil filter on this bike.
How much quantity of oil should be put when change the oil? 0.7L? Or 0.8L? Thanks!

Hello! I have problem on Honda Vision 2021 Check Engine Light on, Can you show me how to reset it?
When I have an opportunity I will do a video. For sure
Coming up to 4000 miles and changing mine, don't see why you'd need to do it sooner.
The longer you use the oil the thickness becomes less and friction becomes more.
Because there is no oil filter....plus the oil volume is VERY low. I'd change it at max 2000 miles.
Genuine honda oil,in my country castrol and motul are much more expensive than genuine honda.
