What a beautiful layout this is, beautiful grounds. Cheers from a fellow Live Steamer , Queensland Australia.
Thanks for the compliment! We are fortunate in owning a site in a woodland setting and having a large membership 'workforce' of all ages, plus a healthy income from ticket sales when we open to the public. Unfortunately we don't have the space available to Australian enthusiasts!
I never thought of I would see mighty Mack at abydale 😂❤
No, it is based on a 'Double Fairlie' as seen on the Festiniog 2 foot gauge railway in North Wales.
Who owns the farile? And where is it currently?
I'm sorry, I cannot divulge the owner's identity or the loco's whereabouts.
Is that a Shay engine ❓️
No, it's a 'Double Fairlie' model of a two foot gauge 0-4-0 + 0-4-0 loco as seen on the Festiniog Railway in North Wales.
Is it necessary to have a license to drive these steam engines ?😊
