    -trying my hand at carving another woodspirit today only this time he's sleeping inside a Cedar Hydro Pole.I used a variety of hand tools but the majority were Swiss Made Pfiel tools.After the carving I put a quick coat of boiled linseed oil on it at the end to make it "pop" -thx for watchin

    It still amazes me. It looks more like you don't carve these characters into the wood, but more like you dig them out of the wood where they've been hiding. Simply amazing to me. Thank you.

    beautiful opening setting and your carvings of gnomes, elves, and today's sleeping woodspirit take me to a magical place and one you will also recognise - of the little boat, with the little gnome sailing down the river to deliver much needed supplies to a gnome river dwelling - who would have thought that a carving can have such a magical effect .

    If iI made one of those I would need that BIG staple on it because if I I put it outside on my property I would need a chain and lock. I had two ceramic planters (50 lbs each with gravel and soil in them) stolen off my front porch this summer. Two big concrete planters were stolen from around the corner from me this summer too.

    • @maryblaylock6545
      @maryblaylock6545 4 роки тому +2

      Well how bleedin' rude is that! Couple of years ago there was a lady(and I use the term loosely)in Northern Minnesota who stole planters off Main Street in Princeton. She had a big vehicle and she kept stealing the concrete pots! She finally got caught on camera and they got her license plate number. She looked like she could spit on a brick wall and knock it down! If you have a game camera it might help. You probably are not the only person in your neck of the woods who has been ripped off. Some people's children!
