Excellent review of this machine. Best I've seen on UA-cam. Just picked one of these up today in tactical black color. Happy riding and keep up the good vids.
Nice job with the review. Mine will be here in 5 days. Can't wait. Do you feel that the lighter clutch weighs from the Grizzly would be better or just leave it as is?
Lloyd Mercer It's called a bark buster. Moose Racing makes a pair of aluminum handguards. I bought them at 2wheelpros.com. it's a steal wraparound piece that bolts into your grip , and tightens to your original handguard. that's what I have in black.
Hey, thanks for watching. They are both great machines. The Polaris is a 570 SP, and the Yamaha is a Kodiak 700SE. They both have similar power bands, but the Kodiak has a lot more overall power. The power steering, and four wheel drive system is also better on the Kodiak. The reliability is better, being that its a Yamaha and overall, i would easily recommend the Kodiak over the Sportsman to anyone. The only positives i could think of for the Sportsman is it's hill descent control, great accessories, and distribution of dealerships. Let me know if you any questions about either machine.
Hey, one thing I was looking to find out about this ATV was weather or not it had that new 2 wheel / 4 wheel drive cable selector. I can't tell in your video because the hand guards would be covering that area. If it does have that cable selector... What can you tell me about it? I'm kind of untrusting when it comes to new gadgets. I really want to purchase this bike but would like to know more about that new switch. Thanks in advance.
There are 3 Kodiak models. The one I have is the Special Edition, and it has an electronic 4wd selector with differential lock. The other 2 models, being the "base model," and the "EPS Model," has a cable selector. The negative to this is that you cant switch into 4wd when moving. With those models, you have to come to a complete stop. Also, with those models, you don't have differential lock. I highly recommend the Special Edition model if you are doing high speed riding like I do. If you are mainly working, or leisurely riding, the other 2 would be fine. Thanks for watching. Lloyd Mercer These are what I have. Great handguards, and very durable. I added a bark Buster to it for added protection www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/3482/39359/Enduro-Engineering-Replacement-Plastic-Debris-Deflectors

TheCarnut73 What type of riding are u planning on doing?
Michael. j Arciero mostly trail riding
Okay cool. Then, i would recommend talking to your dealer about a swap in clutches. Without a doubt.
Nice bike. Can you fully lock the front diff?
Yes. The yellow button locks up the whole front, which gives equal power to all 4 wheels.
i am talking about the aluminum piece that wraps around the hand grip.... what specificlly is that???
