In the video, V’s character is partially blind, which is why one eye is greyed out and a different color. So at the end, when IU’s character is covering his eye, she is covering his *good eye* - the one that can still see - so he doesn’t have to witness what is about to happen 😭
Oh boy.. get your tissues ready. The moment she covered his only working eye ao he couldnt see what was about the happen.. that broke me.😢
IU's voice is amazing and Tae's acting is so so good!
IU is a HUGE soloist in South Korea, she not only has a beautiful voice and is a great artist in the music world, but she is also a fantastic actress as well. This woman has made me cry many times with not only her music, but with her acting as well. In this music video she was actually battling the flu and was very sick, but we would never have known if she hadn't of released her behind the scenes of making the song and video. Her character is deaf hence why they use sign language and V's character is partially blind. He does not sing or provide backing vocals and accepted the male character lead when offered because he wanted to leave ARMY with some content while he was away during enlistment.

IU is basically the female solo artist + to BTS. She is super huge as a singer and she's an actress also. Please check out the songs she has done with Suga/Agust D.

This is all a metaphor for the challenges of being disabled (her deaf him partially blind). How society hunts down those are different. Beautifully tragic.
Another fire reaction. Love the way you really check things out when you watch and keep your cool. IU's company statement says that the cube represents societies judgment on those disabled and who are impaired. In this, she is deaf and he is blind in one eye. Despite that, you see the cubes have taken out everyone because we are all imperfect in some way. In fact, even in all the devastation there is only a mannequin that was surprisingly unaffected. I still don't get why she calls it "love wins all" cuz love didn't win anything. 😬LOL. But glad they gave us these moments.
