Do you think having 2 Steve in all of Europe means that it's a slightly different situation than in North America, which has about 5-7 Steve players who could be considered in the top 10 Steve players overall? And how do you think the European Steves are in terms of play styles etc when compared to their North American Steve counterparts?
Guess it wasn't Jake's golden hour. All jokes aside, both players did well, but kudos to Bloom4Eva. I always found this matchup manageable, but really annoying, especially with Steve's that just runs away and puts up walls. Hope to see Bloom4Eva in more tournaments!

I’ve played this mu a lot, with both characters btw, and I can say that Bayo has a lot of tools to deal with Steve. Realistically it’s closer to even, but if the mu is explored more then you’ll clearly see that bayo wins it.
This set was SO explosive. I love the matchup tbh. Steve can't be lame in the same way, so you see Steve's combos and creativity instead of him being lame

I wonder how European Smash views Steve as opposed to North American Smash and Japanese Smash. Bloom handled this incredibly well.
Bloom plays against MazeBeans (from Scotland, best Steve in Europe besides Tropped) a lot.
