there's an interesting theory that the bus drivers are ditching Spongebob in Rock Bottom on purpose. they indeed bully him for not paying the ride and beating up the first bus driver.

"Rock Bottom is a classic! It is so asinine and ridiculous but so unforgettable! I totally recommend the episode "Scaredy Pants", but I would say save it until Halloween. It is THE SpongeBob Halloween episode.

As a bus operator in NY, I don’t blame the bus driver for being annoyed and frustrated that SpongeBob hit him repeatedly with his balloon, but at the same time, as a professional, I wouldn’t just leave SpongeBob and Patrick in the middle of nowhere like that. I would tell them it’s the last stop and if they need to get back, just wait at the bus stop and I’ll be back in like 5 minutes after my layover and drive it back. If I did what the other bus drivers did here, I would get in trouble with my supervisor due to customer complaints and increase risk of an angry customer or get assaulted.
This wasn't My favorite episode as a kid but now as a disabled adult who can't drive and relies on public transit in small towns in the American South I understand what SpongeBob is going through. Before Uber and Lyft there were times when I had to flag a driver down to get home at night when everything is closed. This episode really resonates with me.
Just so you know, the fish with lights on their heads are called angler fish. They're predators who use their lights to draw other fish to them. Luckily for SpongeBob, this angler fish was friendly.
What I love about this episode is that as a kid I used to think they made the fish look weird and creepy just to add to the spooky factor, not knowing that the sea creatures that live deep in the ocean actually look like that in real life! It just shows how much Stephen Hillenburg really displayed his knowledge of marine science into Spongebob!
The episode Frankendoodle scared me so much as a kid. Doodle Bob still creeps me out to this day. I think it is because I had a nightmare where Doodle Bob broke into my house when I was little. Looking back now, it is such a goofy episode and I would love to see you react to it.
That red fish who helped Spongebob was an angler fish I believe. As for the busses, there's a theory that the first bus driver, who picked up Spongebob and Patrick, was so annoyed by SpongeBob that he told all the bus drivers on that same route NOT to pick up a yellow sponge. But again, this is just a fan theory. Makes sense though. I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of Spooky Month.
That theory makes no sense because the bus was established as being the wrong bus. The episode heavily implies the bus was originally going to Rock Bottom, because why else would they call it THE WRONG BUS?! Any kind of city bus stops at a bus stop. Not just any designated bus or scheduled bus. Spongebob didn't even ask for the bus driver to drive them home. They just got on it! You ask the bus driver to take you somewhere before paying and sitting down. I say all this because I am sick and tired of these ridiculous theories for everything that have either no basis, ignore the obvious, or omit what's been established, implied and what kind of thinking went into the writing. Especially when people like you think they somehow make sense even though they don't! I'm on the internet a lot and I see this so oftenly. It's funny because people weren't collectively like this before when these shows came out. I really hate the modern day at times!
@klaibornelorenzo6397 just don't the theory too seriously, because you comment made it seem like you didn't consider other reasons why they went to Rock Bottom, and thought this theory made the most sense to you. Sorry if this came off as too serious. I just see this all the time online when it comes to certain fan theories and headcanons, and many get too caught up in it. I worry it unintentionally colors others' perceptions and stuff. I wish you would at least have mentioned that it was a theory not to be taken seriously and offer a more logical explanation, though.
One of my favorites. It's so silly. I liked that it was in a different setting too. Of course SpongeBob would struggle down there. Reef v. Ocean floor would totally be different cultures in a world like this. It's a fun little concept to have.

Yeeessss. Been waiting on this one! Would love to see more spogebob classics. Can't remember if you've done Dying For Pie or Idiot Box but they're great. Would also love to see some Cartoon Network classics like Billy and Mandy, Kids Next Door or Edd, Ed and Eddy!
Thanks!
Theres a theory that SpongeBob's parents are rich, and they hired Squidward as a kinda guardian due to how nieve spongebob can be
That doesn’t make sense since they met at the krusty krab
@@pleaseshutup7053 this is not true, as they have been neighbors, and Squidward's first line is
"Oh no, SpongeBob. What could he possibly want"
10:44 SpongeBob: Ewwwww! Glove Flavor!
I love the fact that you’re focusing on scary themed episodes for halloween, hopefully for Christmas you will do the same and focus on the Christmas themed episodes
Yes! Let me know if you have suggestions. 👍
10:32 PEEZ candy. I didn’t think about that but that’s a possibility. Long time since I had that candy
After watching this episode thousands of times when watching this video, I realized spongebob didn’t have any quarters or money in the beginning of the episode to pay the bus driver. Though when he went to get a candy bar from the vending machine in rock bottom he miraculously had a quarter in his pocket. Maybe that’s why the bus driver wouldn’t let him get on once seeing he did have money all along.
He was looking for the coins he found them that’s why he had them later lol
@@pleaseshutup7053 sponge emptied both pockets and he even asked Patrick if he had money, they had no money. Besides quarters in spongebob are the size of his hand.
@@Tryinghen33 SpongeBob is full of wholes could have fell into one of them lol

The red fish is probably an anglerfish. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglerfish
12:00 - 12:30 ok even though the buses were harsh to SpongeBob there but that was still too hilarious XD
Spoiler alert:
It hasn’t appeared in an episode since, but later in the series Glove World was demolished and replaced with the much larger “Glove Universe”
Hey Brandon, watching this at 6:30am on Wednesday on my cracked iPad screen, but that can’t stop me from watching you! 😊 (it’s me Nick btw)
Thanks! Hopefully you enjoyed it! 👍
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts I very much did!
As far as I know the deep sea in real life is so far down sunlight simply can’t reach there, so it’s always dark. Very much a setting for unnerving things
