Good to see a fellow angler who has an appreciation for the wider ecology of the river. Otters are a welcome site on any river, should never be used an an excuse for not catching. Keep the content flowing mate 😀 all the best, Joel
Unfortunately we seem to be in the minority, but I hope attitudes can change! I personally have caught some of my biggest chub, roach and pike just after otters have been about. Hope you are doing well!
Nice vlog and fish well done. My mate had a few grayling at stamford bridge when we used to fish it. Hull have that bit now. Shame was nice stretch and good for few barbel.
Nice video, the dove has some stonking grayling, I used to fish further down from where you were. Hopefully getting a grayling session in tomorrow fingers crossed.
Another great video, thanks very much 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

Cheers thanks a lot. I know the bit on the Derwent, assumed there were grayling in there but never caught one from that river.

I would love to have a go, unfortunately I don't think that will happen any time soon! Good luck, hope you manage a few!
Is there anywhere on the Dove that allows day tickets or annual membership that doesn't cost a fortune?
nice one mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
Don't avoid those boiling spots they often produce some very nice grayling.
I have fished them in the past but never had much luck, especially when the float does a U-turn and starts coming back towards me!
@@riverfossfishing Yep. You just leave it to swim round the eddy.
