- Garage Storage Racks - Our excitement of the DEWALT Garage Storage Racks continues with hard to find accessories for the DXST10000 and DXST4500 racks. Many of the comments in the UA-cam video said that others have paid less for different types of racks, but the cost difference is minimal, but the expandability and ease of assembly are compromised. We would gladly pay a little bit more for quality and ability to move these items in minutes.
If that is not your idea of cool storage, then this video showing some of the accessories for these racks might also not be your thing. But we bet it is something you would like. From nice metal pegboards to drawers and even small item storage, DEWALT has you covered.
DEWALT licenses these items from JS Products who proudly make them. These accessories are not currently available at The Home Depot or anywhere else that we could find online. We hope that quickly changes! We are told these are sold in stores that carry these items outside of the big box stores.

When I saw your review of the shelves in the earlier video, I immediately went and got one for my little blacksmith operation. Of course, as soon as I got it assembled, I started looking for ways to better organize things on the shelves. My first thought was to make up some kind of pegboard for the sides so I could hang the circle jigs and other oddball pieces. My second thought was hunting through Ebay for "vintage" shelf drawer units like Cole, Union and Steelmaster offered back in the day.
I love the shelf, but everything tends to pile up. Drawers like the Cole index card units do a great job of containing things and keeping different items separate. I particularly like that they're stackable so you don't have just one big drawer.
Now that I've seen these new items, though, I'll have to strongly consider giving them a go. That's the life of the blacksmith!
I have the shelving and 2 of the stools and love them. The quality is excellent! If I only had the room, I'd just keep adding all of these things. Nice review of these awesome products guys, thanks!

Love the versatility and the endless configurations. Probably one of the best metal frame storage shelf I've seen. Definitely have some huge selling points that can fit several differenr applications.

We are working on finding them. Maybe this video was meant to push Home Depot into carrying them? Who knows. But they make the racks!

There is a shelving system here in Australia called Rack It which is powder coated black not yellow. Looks exactly the same :)
Just spent so much on all Gladiator shelving, cabinets, work bench, gearboxes and now I wish I could rid it all and get Dewalt just due to the drawers and pegboard.
They make motion activated led lights for this system. There is also a power bar with an extension cord and built in detachable led light. I also saw a set of three bars that come with three shelf like brackets to hold long pieces of wood against a wall.

I bought 2 of the DXST 10000’s. Do they have a drawer kit for these? Would be awesome if they made a 2 drawer kit or even a shallower drawer as I realize 6’ is a long span for a drawer but it would be nice for lighter storage on your work station. Measuring tools, drawings, prints, etc
I got the 4ft racks but still can’t find the work bench accessories found the peg board but couldn’t find the tool holders and stuff (I’m in Canada)

it looks like that company now makes hangers and a LED lite/powerbar combo that would be perfect fom me as I have 4 6 foot racks in a 20ft seacan and would be nice to lite the back half. I can't find any of these accessories anywhere in canada

I really wish I could just buy individual shelves for them. I bought two racks and put them together. Now I've got a set of legs and nothing to do with them. If I could buy the shelves. I'd buy two or three and build onto the existing racks and have a twelve foot long unit.
We are thrilled to see so much interest in the products reviewed here. With that being said, some of the accessories are not currently available and we do not have a finalized ETA due to changing tariff regulations. We hope to release these products soon. MMMMMmmmmm. I try for shop organization but with 5 guys in there working, I give up. Snap-On has never been my thing. I love tools, but I also like to have stuff to work on them with, so my money goes into cars. Guns and knives are above cars. New gun comes out, I have to have it. Benchmade loves me.......

I wish i was one of those guys that's just into one thing. So much cheaper.... I'd be a gazzillionaire if i didnt have so many toys lol car parts kill me too. As of July, 2020 these shelves are garbage. I purchased 2 - 6 foot and 1 - 4 foot earlier in 2020. I decided to purchase another 4 foot to stack onto the first. The unit arrived in a different color yellow. The paint barely covered the metal and in some places was just fumed. I took apart some the strapping brackets from both old and new shelves and found a weight difference. I weighed them on a legal tender digital scale and each strap weighed less than the older ones. Dewalt told me the new shelving unit was manufactured at a different plant and they can not guarantee color consistency, but the shelf is built the same. These shelves usually placed it a garage or a basement. These will rust up fast. The weight difference is due to less paint being applied. As of this date, Aug, 4th, 2020 Dewalt is taking zero responsibility for the inept paint. I took pictures of this while the parts were still on the scale and sent them to Dewalt. There response to me was return it to Home Depot.

The main problem is it's made by dewalt......it's a garbage brand for fools.
