Oh I love so many lines from soldier in this one.... but this is one of my favourites too ... "I teleported bread!!" Should be a T-shirt.
When Medic said they had 3 days to live and Soldier was trying to count to 3, that a joke players make about Valve not being able to count to 3.

You HAVE to react to the "Meet the Team" videos of all these 9 characters. Trust me you'll love them even more
This short gets so much better after the comics got released and you find out Spy is Scouts dad that was never there for his childhood.
The characters names are
Scout, Soldier (the guy with a helmet, Pyro (gas mask), Engineer, Heavy (Heavy weapon guy), Demoman (One eye man), Medic, Sniper, Spy, Ms.pauling, and Archimedes (medic pet doves). Team Fortress 2 made a lot of fun and loveable characters trailers and this trailer are one of the Biggest Update they ever pushed out"The love and war" Update, but there are many more out there for you to watch Such as the "Meet the..." trailer series, Mann vs machine trailers, and some few other official shorts.
They also have a web comic.
I thought the pwrson was suppose to find out not get told first oh well.
some of the characters have (revealed) actual names.
for example
the Scout's first name is Jeremy
Demoman's name is Tavish Finnegan DeGroot
Medic's last name is Ludwig
Engineer's name is Dell Conahager

Nobody knows Pyro's name, who knows, maybe Pyro is not even a human. And nobody knows Spy's name excluding himself, because, you know, he is Spy and he's often changes his name and even if he tells to someone his name, It's probably fake name.

it makes this short a lot sweeter too because it shows that the spy cares for scout. He spends what he thinks is the last three days of his life with the boy who constantly antagonizes him.

You Should react to "Jungle Inferno." That was the recent short film the TF2 team made. But I would recommend to react to "Meet the Team" videos first.
Teamfortress has also made small individual videos called "Meet the ___" introducing almost all the characters you saw here.
...and speaking of _"almost_ all the characters," aren't we long overdue for a "Meet Miss Pauling" video? :-D

Spy helping scout becomes so wholesome when you realize he's scouts dad. On the surface it seems like he's just messing with Scout to waste his time but knowing this detail it kind of makes me wonder if this was spy trying to spend time with his son before he died.
I miss the SFMs and how they tied into the game, like how teleporters will actually start producing bread in-game, and so much else, played for ten years, still love TF2 💜

Fun fact. this was supposed to be the pilot episode for a tv of the TF2 video game. it was supposed to air on adult swim but unfortunately never made it to live tv. at least we have the comics though.
It didn't made it because Valve didn't agree on Adult Swim politics, so yeah its valve's fault

The only TF2 episode aniamted series that Valve ever made, i wish we had more.
Would definately recommend the other short films. The ones I would start with would be the meet the ____ series. It will really help introduce you to the team. Some are only a couple minutes long but they have a lot of character.

A lot of people told you to react to Meet the Team (Which you did) But there was also a short made called Mann vs Machine, which you might also want to check out.

If you're still wondering, Ms. Pauling is assistant to the Administrator that supervises all the battles. She was introduced in Team Fortress 2's comics, which offer a lot more of the world's crazy lore. It also elaborates a bit more on team relationships, especially between Scout and Spy.
I don't know if you know this already but there are also lots of comics about the game and they are really good as well! They can be read for free on the official TF2 website (teamfortress.com) and I honestly recommend you check them out if you want more of these mercs
This is a Team Fortress 2 (TF2) short. TF2 is a predecessor to Overwatch and such and I used to play it a lot before Overwatch came out (I have over 2,000 hours clocked on TF2.) It's a great game and it features 9 characters with unique personalities. I recommend reacting to a number of videos found at www.teamfortress.com/movies.php

@@DeanBarryStuff You sound identical to DeSinc, who's a Half-Life Speedrunner. One of the engine exploits to those games is jumping backwards with just the right timing to make you gain insane amounts of speed, commonly referred to as a backhop. He makes great videos but you probably shouldn't watch them if you haven't played the games. Even as someone who didn't like FPS games they are incredible. They're made by the same people who made TF2.
