I love how patient you are with Houston and also how you allow him to have his say in the videos. You're definitely helping him build his self confidence, you're a good dad ❤️
New to the channel and love it- Thank you for your service especially in this day/age when officers are threatened with violence and being defunded. May God bless you and your family!
Looks amazing ! Daniel you are a Great Care Taker for your amazing family , farm, and your adorable animals that you all have brought up a mighty long ! I Enjoy your videos and i really 💘 💘 love your channel. God Bless Arms Family Homestead.
Hi Arms family hope you all are doing good today.God bless you and your family today and always. I have loaded hay by hand before it’s hard work. It’s so nice to have new machines to do the work.Have a blessed weekend and blessed church service Sunday.God bless you.
Thanks for sharing. As a teenager I would drive our old dump truck with a small square bale loader while my dad stacked them in the back. It was like playing a game to get the bale in the loader without running over another bale. Memories. My dad is gone now. Sure do miss him. 😢🤠
That’s awesome 👏 you allowing your brother in law to have your hay cut for his Bison Herd. Tell Houston I said he’s getting good on that 4 wheeler & He looks so cool 😎 riding it !!! 👍😁👍❤️✝️
Hope you all are keeping safe and your colleagues and their families are too in these strained times. Omgosh I actually found watching the hay bailing really therapeutic.
That was fun watching the haay get bailed i really enjoyed watching, and Houston was really cute riding on his wheeler ! Glad he stayed away from the big tractors!
Its ninety three here with a ninety nine degree heat index. I worked in the garden till eleven when I started to get overheated. So I finished up what I was doing and came home. I totally understand why you prefer early morning or later in the day. God Bless
Thank you! That was beautiful! Cutting, raking and bailing. ❤ Growing up, my parent's house had a small hay field below. I loved seeing the wind blowing the grass and the cutting, raking, and bailing. Those were the small bails. The boys made great money bucking bails. My dad was a John Deere dealer. ❤ Great memories.
Great looking Hay. Best way to do things is Barter. Works out for all of you. Bella was running right in front of the Tractor but she not like Huston can't tell her to stay out the way lol. Stay Safe God Bless and Peace Be With You All ☮️🙏❣️
My grandparents had a 90 acre dairy farm(milked 4 Jersey cows by hand morning and night) in West Virginia. Grandaddy had 2 crop fields, corn and hay. Bailing hay was a community project. Cutting the hay, bailing the hay, transporting to the barn built before the Civil War, putting the hay in the hayloft.
WOW watching them bail hay is much easier then how we did it but we didnt have the big round bails. We had the rectangular bails that we had to stack on the wagon by hand, talk about hot - sweaty and itchy. It was a mad dash for the showers when we were all done.
Hi from soggy NC I have never seen hay bailed before pretty cool also as you i pray for you all every day. Lot of egg laying on my birthday thanks for still seeing the awe in the world
I like the tinted windows on those cab tractors! Nice! We're clearing more hay fields over on our place this week...got some heavy equipment working hard! Thanks for another great vid! #stoneyridgefarmer
The hay rake made quick work of the rows of hay! The baler looked like it was dropping 1100lb bales! Houston spilled the beans again... I Love how excited he gets when a new item or animal shows up at the homesteads! 😇😎❣️
Man I sure do miss living on a farm. Miss all the animals we had. But maybe one day I get me some dirt and build me a small farm. Great memories from a great video. Keep up the great content. God bless you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏 and as always see you in the next video peace
Great drone footage. I love watching tractors bale hay. Used to have to hand through in a hay wagon. Got a nice shiny quarter from an old farmer. Loved the hard work.
Farming now a days is so different than what they did in the past. Having air conditioners in the equipment is a game changer. Love the smell of fresh cut hay. What happened to the turtles? Thanks and hope your having a great weekend. Love y'all
Oh wow how wonderful to watch this amazing equipment at work! How my uncle farmer would have loved that to help him cut & bale in South Africa back in the 1950's & 60's. Thank you for sharing Dusty's news Houston, I will keep my eye open for his post as I am on his page too :) Thank you for the drone footage too
Don't forget you're feeding miniature donkeys poodles LOL they like to eat when I grew up we had to put hay bales on a trailer by hand glad to see you got modern equipment doing yours always a pleasure to watch may the Lord bless you and your family❤
I handled every bale from the time I was 12 till my step grandfather sold the farm 😠 I was about 17, also made a lot of money throwing Hay for other farmers.
Hey nice video. We cut hay today but we allow ours to dry out a few days before balding. We feed horses and pigs the hay. Just a note we store the hay so it’s not rained on. Never feed horses hay that could have mold in it. It cause several health concerns. So just a thought you might need to store a few for new mini donkeys.
Daniel.....That was neat, never saw how they made round bales of hay...! Top notch John Deere tractors, they don't give them things away, that's for sure..! Thanks man..! =)
Daniel make sure you save all your fish carcasses and put them in the freezer for next year. Bury them where you're going to plant your tomatoes and you'll be surprised at how many tomatoes you actually produce. One fish under each plant.
Mr Daniel, that sure is absolutely Gorgeous land you have,it's like a dream to be blessed with the wonderful family and property that you have,God is awesome, may the LORD continue to bless you and your family.
My wife and I plant our grass on 40 acres on the back end of our property. I cut the field when it's time. And then we pay and give a few rounders to a neighbor who has the equipment. To bale our rounders. It saves a lot of money as one food source for the animals. Of course our animals also get grain/feed too. I would love to have my own baler, but farming equipment is quite costly.
Interesting video, as always, and Houston's hair made me laugh. Love his concern for turtles and their eggs. Please be safe out there, and follow your instinct. My late father was a NYPD Detective, I am glad he is not here now. Know you have a lot fans who send prayers to keep you and your fellow officers safe. God bless.
Janice, Sorry for your loss of your father. I'm sure he did a good service to his community. My uncle on my mother's side was a police officer for Metro Dade in Miami Florida from the 1950's to the 1980's. I wonder what his thoughts would have been if he were alive today of what's going on in our country today?
Thank you Clifford. I appreciate your kind words. My father is gone 26 years now, he died young at 66. I was with him at his hospital bedside when he died, God gave me that gift. 😊 My father was a good man, like Daniel, and a huge animal lover. He was loved at his precinct, his partners, and did make a difference I am sure. I was told the only thing he ever shot was tires from a fugitive trying to escape. And this was in Brooklyn, NY. 😊 which used to be very dangerous in most of the borough. It has gentrified now, with much less crime. Miami had to be a tough place to be a Policeman. I think both your uncle and my father would be horrified by what is going on now. I just read a Police horse died in London at a protest, and it's Policewoman was severely injured. This is unacceptable to me, and the person who did this should bearrested for attempted murder. Watching Daniel and family, and other videos like it brings us peace and joy. Houston is a funny, very sensitive, and loving child. I love little Jacobi too. They are such great friends.
@@janicefreedman8173 Your very welcome! Times have changed for the worst especially for police officers that have to expect the unexpected and act accordingly which doesn't always have a good ending. Haven't heard about the horse and police officer. Hope she is okay. That's too bad. Jacobi and Houston were having a great time weren't they?! I try not to miss any of Daniel's video's, but if do I get to watch teo in a row! Whoo Hoo! 😲
I have seen many of those hay bales in my travels but never knew how it was done. That was awesome to watch. You be safe trying to help with those protests going on all over this country and around the world. Now since Houston let the cat out of the bag Dusty better get up that video of the baby lol. Just watched his video on the cabins and man they are nice. I would so live in one of those. Stay safe.
Thanks for sharing this. Now i know how those hay balls are made. With so very many trees in your homestead, i wonder if you have fruit bearing trees out there. If you do, i wish you'd feature these, too, someday. Stay safe y'all!!!
I found that you guys always ❤ bale your hay in the rounds while here in AZ we do the rectangle bales that weigh btwn 120 - 140lbS. I'm sure 👍 yours weigh 3 to 4 X's that! Was worried At the beginning about Houston and the dogs 🐕 when they were so close to the machinery. Looks like 👍 you're set for the winter and early spring for hay to be feeding everyone including the 2 new mini donkeys . Great 👍 video and hope 👌 you'll be lucky out fishing! You might be doing another video catch, clean and cook!!!
Those bales look small compared to the ones Dunbar tears over at Dusty’s field earlier this year! Can’t wait for the next round of Dunbar tossing the hay bale around! Thanks for sharing upkeep of your farm.
If your gonna store it out side you should check into billboard tarps. After the sign company takes the old ones down sometimes they sell used ones for 40 dollars or less. Most are 14 ft by 40ft.
John Deer makes the best toys. Loved seeing this with the drone footage. Round hay bales are great for feeding many animals at the same time. Jump in the lake time. God bless you. Stay safe and be well. ❤🕊🙏💞🌹
Hey Daniel, OMG you can't tell Houston anything he's a lip slipper he can't keep a secret🙊 lol thats pretty cool how hay bales are made so whats next for AFH keep up the good work and see you and the next video 🤔👂😯🙉🙄
Congratulations to Dusty! I wonder if it was the "Fan Favorite" as he called her? Cant wait to see her! As soon as I heard the music, I knew where it was going! lol

Hey Daniel please stay safe out there I’ve kept you and all officers in my prayers. Thank you for all you do.
Daniel....prayers for you and your fellow officers and thank you all for your service....🙏🙏🙏🙏😎👍

That was so fun watching Jack and Houston looking around the farm! What a great video to wake up with! Im gonna have a great day for sure !!
Expensive equipment. Back in the 70's-80's we just took our time and enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing. As a teenager I would drive our old dump truck with a small square bale loader while my dad stacked them in the back. It was like playing a game to get the bale in the loader without running over another bale. Memories. My dad is gone now. Sure do miss him. 😢🤠

Hope you all are keeping safe and your colleagues and their families are too in these strained times.
Omgosh I actually found watching the hay bailing really therapeutic.
Loaded a lot of square bales when I was younger. Just watching all that hay dust makes me want to sneeze!
God Bless You!
That was fun watching the haay get bailed i really enjoyed watching, and Houston was really cute riding on his wheeler ! Glad he stayed away from the big tractors!
Love to watch your family, your and your family are in my prayers.
Fascinating to see it working to make round bales. I still don’t understand how it works but I loved seeing it. Keep safe xx

Love that dark tint on those tractors. It not only looks awesome, but it also keeps the sun from cooking you.
Great looking Hay. Best way to do things is Barter. Works out for all of you. Bella was running right in front of the Tractor but she not like Huston can't tell her to stay out the way lol. Stay Safe God Bless and Peace Be With You All ☮️🙏❣️

Yeah and now you have the chihuahua donkeys too.
Q2Wells. This ole Gamma remembers helping my dad load those bales in the trailer on the truck and then into the barn. Flashback.....
I'm sure cross timbers bison would appreciate you giving him a bale or two!
@Cary Brown, He said Cross Timbers Bison is paying to have the Hay Cut & Daniel’s keeping 8-10 Bales and Cross Timber gets the rest.
I handled every bale from the time I was 12 till my step grandfather sold the farm 😠 I was about 17, also made a lot of money throwing Hay for other farmers.
Nice round rolls. I got all my hay in the winter. I got spring cutting. I love the smell of fresh cut hay and grass

Love those big rounds, looks like big wheaties!
So awesome. Stay safe and God bless ALL
The drone footage made the hay operation look really cool👍 Maybe
"Arms Family Homestead" needs a hay barn?
That was pretty cool! Yeah the barn wouldn't be that big. Just big enough for the hay rolls and the tractor.
Man. Blake would love to come out and go fishing and hinting with you all !! Those are big bales. So different than our bales in Az!!
If your gonna store it out side you should check into billboard tarps. After the sign company takes the old ones down sometimes they sell used ones for 40 dollars or less. Most are 14 ft by 40ft.
Looks like someone went to John deere and just said one of everything!!!! Gosh he has some nice equipment 💰💰💰
