Decent shearing job. Not awful.. We have 50 Alpacas here in central Kansas, and we shear our Alpacas laying down on their sides, it's way safer and alot less stressful on them and on us. They are stretched out and totally immobilized and nobody gets hurt. Some of ours are really "rodeo stock" if you know what I mean, and if we tried to shear them standing we and they would get hurt. We try really hard to minimize anybody getting hurt when we shear. Also - At shear time we also trim toenails, and check and trim teeth as necessary. Any boys we shear also get their fighting teeth checked and trimmed as necessary. Lucy's fleece is really beautiful. I think I heard you say that this was her first shear, if so, that's her "Cria fleece" and it's the best fleece she will ever make, the finest and softest and best one she will ever produce. That would make some exquisite yarn if it was processed and spun up. I like your channel. You guys have a nice place, and it's nice to see another place like ours in the midwest. Keep up the good work there! Dean from Stafford, Kansas

They are just all so adorable I love them!
Build yourself a tilt table to use for shearing and you’ll be amazed at the ease of clipping your alpacas!! You can build one yourself super cheap (like less than $50 if you have a few things already lying around)!! Have a fabulous weekend Arms family!
When the alpaca screamed it made me laugh
Love this, 💕💜💕💜
Y'all did awesome...
The girls look like they have on "go-go" boots. 👢👢
