Hi Brian and Max, you are a great father and son team, a very nice duet...love watch you both. I really liked it when you said to Max: I would never kick you out...i love you. I'm 60 years old, also have children, I have a daughter of which I have a granddaughter and a son (no grandchildren yet) and I also love them, seeing this type of relationship between father and son makes me very happy...A big hug from Portugal.(sorry if my English is not 100% correct)

I have this jacket and i bought a size that lets me fit a hoodie or somethermal liner inside soo u can actually use it as a winter jacket as well and its working fine for me, i made this decision cuz the anti wind liner is not gonna do much by itself.
Soo if you plan to buy this for summer only go tight fit, if you want to use it in colder weather as well go for a size up

I'm 5'10 195 with an athletic build and an XL feels almost like a 1/2 or 1/4 size too big in places but not bad. Conversely a L would be the opposite and id rather have a little more room than be too constricting. This colorway sold out fast on your site (and everywhere else really) so I bought it local but it is a sweet jacket and is very comfortable. I think I'll be getting the GP Plus R4 rideknit for my primary and keep this for those extra hot rides.

Well it took long enough, but they finally put belt loops on, very useful for those of us that wear riding jeans. I also like that the sleeves have a zipper closure rather than the usual velcro tabs. Could be time to replace my old Alpinestars Jaws Air textile jacket with this one.
I am also not a huge fan of the velcro cuffs used on some jackets. - Van
Seems like a better version of the rst mesh jackets but not gonna like kinda bummed you don’t have rst mesh jacket want to get one for next summer

Its only "A" rated? Would only be suitable for a scooter or moped.
Hi, I have this jacket (for women) and I can't help but think the protectors on the elbows are a bit too soft as there is no slider there included(whereas the shoulders have sliders). Can this elbow protector be swapped with another one? And which one would it be?
Armor has come a long way over the years. It used to take something 2-3 times as thick as the armor in this jacket to get you the same level of impact management. IMO the armor in this jacket is up to the task and does not need to be replaced. If you prefer to replace it below are a couple of links:

Van, how this jacket compare to RST S-1 Mesh ? I’m divided between the two.
It is a lot closer than you would expect. IMO both are excellent jackets that you can not go wrong with. - Van

Very few jackets come with the back insert in them. I would also prefer they include this with every jacket, even if they have to raise the price. - Van

Absolutely I’m a fan of Alpinestars. I have their techair 5, as well as one of their sport jackets.
However, the letters on this new SMX are just too gawky for me. 🤷🏻♂️
