This song was written after the Zapatista uprising that happened on January 1, 1994 in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. It was a 12 days revelation led by the armed group "Zapatista National Liberation Army", which achieved international diffusion due to its demands for justice and vindication of the indigenous people of Mexico. Very few people know that it was repressed by former President Carlos Salinas with the Mexican army killing innocent people.

I hope not! Tom Morello is complete moron who was more about money and awards than racism. If they attacked Limp Bizkit because they are a better band, they prove that they are elitists. I really don't care about Bizkit and RATM is very good music - but I actually believed that they want to make this world a better place. Instead of they are like Green Day and U2 and more concerned about their egos.

This band was so much about fame, awards, and money!
They used racism as an excuse to get popular. But there is no bands who would start a protest against Limp Bizkit because "we deserve better". Tom Morello is a snob who failed in police force because he started to call people with disrespectful names. Even the torturing guitar sounds cannot make this band anti-racist!
