I think maybe this part was made with vibrato and much modulation. I think this was made with Mode 1 instead of Mode 2 too.

This song has helped me realize what actually imbues a vocaloid with emotion. When teto broke out into the chorus she didn't even sound human, at all, but she sounded full of emotion. She sounded like an android, but an absolutely heartbroken one. This idea of embracing the artificial sound of vocaloids is, I think, the key to beautiful music using these wonderful pieces of software.
PS I know Tetos an utauloid not a vocaloid.
what's the difference of utauloid and a vocaloid?

@@RareGacha_YT utauloid is free software and vocaloid is paid, so generally the overall quality of a vocaloid is better.

More than just a song... It's true emotion. I'm so close to my girl friend and we truly know without a single doubt that we are soul mates, so the mere thought of either of us losing each other... It just, this song hits me unlike any other. Coming from a man who had little to no emotion for his first 19 years of living, this song really and truly made me cry the first time I heard it

This song has had such a big impact on my life. This song has been the only song that made me legitimately cry just from how emotional and heartfelt it was. This song served at the gateway for me into the vocaloid/UTAU fandom. It has remained as my favourite song for almost 6 months now from when I first heard it. And now that you just hit 4k subscribers, I feel like now is as good as any time to say it. Thank you. Before hearing this I had little interest in music, but this changed everything. I've gotten more into the music industry and have even taken up learning japanese. ( I'm trash at it ) It was all thanks to you and your work. Im so happy that I found this channel and can be there when you upload more amazing content. This song has changed my life for the better. Thank you.

This is "Close to You" a song about "watching someone's lover die in front of them with a smiling face, and how they mourn and try to accept their death."
Yes it is Vocaloid, but don't judge the book by its cover, Tanjiro Tiadana did an excellent job with Kanase Teto, you can feel the grief and sadness throughout the song, and it makes you feel her pain as she watches her lover die...
Please even if you do not usually watch these... do it

When I was drawing stuffs while hearing this, I thought I misheard the 3:53 and checked the vid(since I don't check it when just listening to stuffs while doing other things), and realizing that my home language used on it was shocking(in good way). Thanks for the great music man, I really appreciate it.
I discovered this song back in 2019, thought it was beautiful right from the beginning. Turned the subs on, and it gained new meaning for me.
2 years later last week, my dog was put to sleep, 13 years old. I got to spend time with him during his last days making sure he enjoyed himself as much as he could, even though I was hurting the entire time because I knew what was coming. On the final day, I sat in front of him as the vets did what they had to do, making sure I pet him and smiled at him even with tears in my eyes. He looked happy even as he put his head down and left this world. One of the hardest things I've had to do in my life.
This song will forever hit me stronger than it ever has in the past. I can honestly say without exaggeration that I can identify with what's being sung. It hurts to listen and think of what happened, but I'm thankful that I have this song to remember how much I loved him.

I swear, this gave me chills omg. The fact that so much emotion can be put out by a synthesized voice is truly amazing.
MOTHER OF GOD. The emotion you've produced from Teto's voice is breathtaking. You've taken musical liberties in the ad libs and even the main melodies in some place, and that's a touch I really appreciate. The second verse in English was a nice touch. But what sealed the deal for me was surely the final chorus. I have no words for that. Absolutely stunning work, even surpasses kyaami's version. Will be sharing this.

@@toiboiskullguy9331 The lyrics were supposed to be 日々を重ねてく (hibi wo kasaneteku) but Tanjiro made them 日々を重ねてと (hibi wo kasaneteto) to make it sound like teto's name.

You know...I think losing your group of friends is the same as losing a loved one. I used to hang out with a group of five, so when I was one of them, we were a group of six. Then, one day, we started fighting over the same crush, fighting over who had confessed first. Also, they all started ignoring me, like, when I started speaking, no one would care about what I was saying. And that maybe you needed to be separated from them in order to grow into yourself, to realize who you are as an individual and where your self-worth lies. And someday, maybe sooner than you think, you'll meet people who won't let something like a crush get in the way of your friendship. Long story short, you're going to be okay. I'm sure you're a lovely person; don't let anyone or anything convince you that you aren't.

i hate when teto cry...because it stimulates my emotions (i don't feel emotions on what you call a normal day) but some things can stimulate me and make me laugh in happiness, cry in sadness or scream in anger.

This is one of those songs that breaks me, not just because of the meaning, but because of association. I can't help but think of my OC, Edith, who loses her S/O, Jayden, in the most crazy of circumstances. She had to put on a smile when trying to perform for her senior high school class's graduation... without him dueting with her like they planned. She broke in that moment and had to excuse herself. Eventually she decided to revert to her roots as a music artist, all the way back to rock music. I can't help but imagine her playing her guitar until her fingertips bleed, singing until her voice gives out, all to this song- in an attempt to cope with one of her biggest losses. I'm so sorry, Edith, for having to do that to you. I'm sorry to every one of my characters that suffered losses because of that event-
The worst part of her not being real is not being able to hug her when she cries.
