Tangier is my favourite dish! I think I have eaten at the grilled meat stall too which was very nice, that said after 3 visits I've yet to have a bad meal in Marrakech. Can't wait to go back!
Hi, It would be beneficial off you could say / tell us the the food stall numbers. What number stall is the soup please> I am heading out there this weekend
Hello Paul Yes something to consider for future videos but there of several stalls of each kind of food and over the years I’ve probably tried all of them 😊 Just ensure you only sit at stalls clearly displaying the prices and also where it’s busy with local customers, that’s alway a good sign. Have a great strip and don’t forget to check my channel for more Morocco videos 👍 ua-cam.com/play/PLHXCME-mJjYCoBjCobWqLn1EGiQtkbGi8.html&si=iKG3xE79y3hGFj84
Hello Upto this video I’ve always used my iPhone 11 which is more than adequate for filming in 4k This is the first video where I have used my new IPhone 15 pro max. In general it is the same but some features are outstanding especially for filming in ‘cinematic’ mode - wow!!
Wa laikum Salam Please see my video for Marrakech Airport Guide Marrakech Menara Airport - Arrivals Guide - Morocco (4K) ua-cam.com/video/Vaq3_Fk51KU/v-deo.html The other options to exchange at one of the many exchanges places in the city. Best to use Al barid cash machines as they don’t charge
@@Pakoraman thanks I did that but the airport was awful rate as expected. You need to tell in your video it best to take a HSBC global money or Monzo card and use that bank in that square which gave me the highest rate whilst there and no fees!
The fees for atm are charged only by certain providers of ATMs’ and not all. Most uk banks don’t charge you for withdrawing cash The video is about using the navigating the airport I will in the future make a video about general advice when visiting Morocco
I was next to you on the plane coming back. It’s great to see the finished video. While we were in Marrakesh, we didn’t actually eat anything in the main square. I don’t eat meat and we were a bit concerned about the food - particularly the meat - being out on tables, not refrigerated or covered. Watching you enjoy the food there, I regret not trying a little something!
Thank you for remembering me & watching the video- don’t worry there’s always a next time. Over the years I’ve eaten in and around the square hundreds of times and never had an issue with the quality of the food & hygiene. It’s looks alien to us with all the regulations we have in the UK but the food there is fresh and cooked at a high heat to eliminate any potential issues 😊
I second the comment that I would’ve been concerned about cleanliness so appreciate your comment. Also wouldn’t eat the meat but the grilled veg and bread. Really great video. Got the link from TA.
Greetings.. It is not very advisable to eat at the stalls in Jemma el Fna Square, bacteria move easily there. Better to dine at any of the restaurants around, there is more hygiene when it comes to food and its handling. If you still decide to do it, you should avoid sauces and salads. The meat, being cooked over a fire, does not carry any type of risk. Gastroenteritis and its respective diarrhea can be terrible.
I’ve never personally had any problems having eaten there maybe over 100 times. I believe one of the main reason people get food poising is that they don’t wash their hands before eating. Also have a pack of wipes when eating out especially at the stalls as there are not hand wash facilities.
Can’t wait to sample the food in April 24
You’re gonna love it especially because it’s sooo cheap 😊
Ma shaa Allah brother
Thanks for watching and pleased you enjoyed it 🤲
Thanks. Saw you link to this on TA forum. Visitting Marrakech for first time in a few weeks.

Nice video of cheap nutritional value for a holiday maker in Marrakesh
Also very tasty and yes very nutritious meals 😊
@@Pakoraman Indeed
Ive never been to Morocco but after watching this video I can't wait
Did you really eat all that food in one day lol
I’m a machine but even I can’t eat that amount of food - I had my little helpers with me who eat most of it 😊
I always add lemon juice to the harira. It really makes a difference.
I would definitely agree with the lemon juice!

You would have lived the haraira soup 🍜
That is goodness in a bowl 😊
But didn't the harira contain meat? Whenever I buy harira or friends make it, there are usually some chunks of meat floating around in it.
@laduqesa never had one with meat and is not the norm - this one in square definitely did not have meat otherwise the price would have been higher
