Ave, thanks for sharing your journey. When having the first child it’s a lot of adjustment. Breastfeeding 24/7 is exhausting. Try to rest/ sleep in between. Eat more proteins. By 6 months, u will feel much better and perhaps after a year, you can resume your work. When you have enough rest and sleep, your emotions will be okay and don’t forget exercise too. Good Luck, make adjustments as you go along and after taking care of Tokyo, prioritize sleep, nutrition, and exercise. 🙏🙏🙏

I feel you. The best age to travel with kids is about 4 yrs old. I refused to travel long distances when my kids were infants cos you’re right it’s too overwhelming. I also noticed that when I breastfed I felt more depressed for some biological reason. It will eventually go away. Make sure you eat food rich in magnesium and iron

Wow, kudos to you new parents for traveling with your new baby. I didn’t travel by plane with my son until he was 2 yrs. old, & it was still a challenge to say the least and I’ve traveled a lot business & pleasure. I now have 2 boys & I tell friends & families to visit us instead of us traveling to see them. We do a lot of camping, beaches, parks and anything by car, this is all we can manage for now🌷😍🌿

I believe you, its challenging to travel with a baby specially a two month old , less than a year old baby. very lucky to have your mom always there. Perhaps Tokyo will be a traveller just like you guys in the future who knows.. You keep mentioning that Tokyo loves travelling a travel baby and enjoys it too. Exposing her to different environments is great. Tokyo has no clue whats going on and no choice. All I can say is you guys are the travellers ( lakwatsa)

ugh! i feel you these days (except the travel tho) at 6wks post partum (first time mom here in my late 30's). I love my daughter but not everything about motherhood is loveable. We just have to acknowledge the in betweens and take in one day at a time. Motherhood changes us. Such a comforting content. Thanks!
what a wonderful blessing to have a child, don't spoil the kid, just enjoy her, while she's growing up. I know it's to early to say, "plan the 2nd child at least 2 to 3yrs from now.

My worry of having my baby travelling a lot was that immunization was not yet complete esp before 6months. It's good that Tokyo is breastfed and gets the best nutrition and immunization it has. God bless.

Hi ave, Tokyo is so cute. The ergobaby carrier I think she's too low as I have the same carrier as my baby. She needs to be at your chest level. You'll know when you kiss her head you can reach her. The straps on martin needs to be more stretched out on his shoulders. I hope it helps. Have a wonderful vacation:)
Ave always support Tokyo's neck whenever you carry her. Malambot pa kasi ang neck at ang skull 9:38 nyan di pa fully developed ang bones nya. My spine doctor said that my spondyl9sis could be caused by an unsupported neck as a baby. And if possible carry her with her back resting on your body so she can see her surroundings. ❤❤ i am a grandma of 4 kaya expert na ako dyan kung papano magkarga😊

Truly understand what you’re feeling and going through. Had the same experienced a year ago, as a first time mom. It was really a tough fight controlling my own emotions. Also, it made me asked Mr. Google for better help and he literally showed “BetterHelp”. And he showed it several times as I struggled so many times; questioning if I can really do this, if I could raise a child. Every new milestone was a struggle and a need for me to ask for a better help. And after a year, I would say things are better now and mental health has been saved and taking care of. Ave, perhaps you can travel with Tokyo to places that are remote. This way, if you forget something, there are stores to get what you need for Tokyo. For anxious mom like me specially travelling congested area like airport malls etc i bought portable uvcare (clip)attach to my baby stroller or carrier and happy noz sticker 😊(anti bac/anti virus)

Travel abroad with your baby at least when she is 2 or 3 years old. We traveled back and forth from other country to the Philippines. It's a lot of stress especially when the baby is bottlefed. It's a bit easier if you are breastfeeding. You will not sterilize the feeding bottles when travelling. You have to drink a lot and eat nutritious foods when breastfeeding. Try to avoid sugary foods. It will affect your moods. Just be patient. Try to get some sleep as much as possible.
Baby Tokyo is 2 months old now. Time flies faster. Love to see Mama Liv, your Mama and all of you enjoying a little time in Boracay. Life is beautiful in your life.

Ave, it is better to travel when she is a 1yr old. Bc you travel with less things & you’re still going thru post partum, you just came thru from a big deal of giving birth. You need at least a year for your body to get back to normalcy. You have a whole lifetime to travel again. Get to know your new family & once you’re ready you will be glad you save yourselves unnecessary trouble.

For first time mothers…the whole experience is full of new things one has never experience before. This is enough to drive mothers towards PPD. I support your advice of having as many support around you during this time. However it will get better as Tokyo grows and all these feelings of PPD will disappear.
Suggestion lang . Try to find a travelling bag where you can accommodate all baby essentials instead of too many bags to segregate your baby essentials. Comfort and functionality before fashion
