  • This guy did a great job tuning his Himalayan into a true off-road monster. Everything from tires, pipe, YSS suspension and so much more. I love this bike. Wahoo!

    Did he say how much money he spent, or did I missed that? And, once you add up all the cost, could he had gotten another stock bike that is a bit more capable, or at least to part with the end result Himalayan?
    Don't get me wrong, I am not putting the Hime down. I have a Ténéré 700, but the moment I pay it off chances are that I will be running, not walking, to buy me a Hime. Even though people tell me not to buy one, because if I have a mighty T7 chances are that I will get bored with the Hime. Something just tells me that that won't be the case.
    Yes my T7 is definitely a lot more capable bike on and off road, but for some reason the Hime just speaks to me and calls to me. I just love it's look and personality (if that makes sense to you). May be I identify with it. People understating it and picking on it. Even though to me all bikes have a heart (yeah call me crazy), to me the Hime has a heart that is bigger than most. Like the little bike that could.
    I think that if a T7 went off roading and came back and talked to a Hime, the conversation would go something like this.
    T7: Oh girl, it was crazy! It was muddy, then it got sandy, then really technical with lots of baby heads, then very steep hill climbs and descents. I don't known if you could handle all that.
    Hime looks at her with a grin on her face and says: Here hold my margarita! 😂

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  Рік тому

      Its owner is a motorcycle mechanic and got the bike for a discount. The same is true with the accessories. Being a mechanic he's able to do all the work himself. I've never ridden a t7 but can only imagine how much fun it would be :-)

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
